GO WORKOUT HERE! This was the Best Barry’s bootcamp location I have ever been to… I thought Barry’s Boot Camp was hard but it wasn’t until I came to Barry’s bootcamp of San Diego that I realized it was super hard like wow I was shocked and dying in my class because of how hard I was being worked I was super impressed by the coach that instructed the class her energy was top notch she’s super happy, energetic, smart, well versed, technical, instructional, helpful and fun to listen to and get coached by the class really worked my muscles this was the first time that I left the Barry’s Boot Camp class where the next day my muscles were so sore I was Actually sore after taking this class for four days and mind you I have been taking Barry’s Boot Camp class in Los Angeles for three weeks prior to taking my first class in San Diego and not ONCE did I go home or feel sore the next day. Los Angeles classes are for sissy’s in comparison to this San Diego class. The gym itself was SUPER clean and had more to offer than the LA location. I found my self using the shower in this location and again it was super clean. I was impressed as well by the staff who were all super helpful, conversational, humble and sweet as opposed to the employees at the Los Angeles West Hollywood location. WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!

FANTASTIC! Recently renovated, large entrance, changing room, showers, lockers and a large studio. The older reviews are now obsolete. The trainers are awesome and the studio looks beautiful after the renovation.

Great workout but I was really disappointed there was no proper change room and no shower. I’m from Toronto and was visiting San Diego for the weekend. I wanted to catch a workout before my flight and wrongly assumed I could shower after the workout. I was left changing what looks like a closet and the bags go into lockers in the workout room! The Toronto facilities are super glam with great products and towel service! Not San Diego. The class itself was a great workout which is why I was there. That said the front door kept opening which was distracting, and the treadmills were dated and not so easy to toggle between speeds which is required for the workout. The Toronto machines have many preset inclines and speeds which makes it far more expeditious to switch during the workouts!Hopefully San Diego gets to see the type of Barry’s experience we have in Toronto sometime soon!

I have honestly been going to Barrys since the first day they opened their doors in San Diego. Each instructor is a little different and each have their own styles but they are all good. It is a nice way to mix up your workouts. The workouts are fun, efficient, and intense. You cant ask for more!

Of the other Barry’s locations I have visited (NYC, Toronto, Washington DC), this is definitely the least “glamorous” I have encountered.Be warned - this location has no locker room (no showers, blow dryers, products, etc.), very tiny lockers (that can’t fit a normal backpack) located inside the studio, and no stretch area. The staff here can be friendly, but is mostly apathetic. The most bothersome part of the workout experience I encountered was a member of the staff constantly opening the front studio door during the class(es), exposing the room to the incredibly bright sunlight from outside, carrying ladders and mop buckets across the workout floor, and being a huge distraction. This felt super disrespectful to the students in the class - especially considering these classes aren’t cheap. The workouts however, are good. Comparable to other locations I have visited. If you are looking for a good workout, this location will suffice. If you are looking for a great workout experience, I would suggest finding another Barry’s Bootcamp location.

I have been to this Barry’s Bootcamp location several times. Pretty good work out - similar to other Barry’s Bootcamp locations. However, the staff here are terrible. Dane was nice the first time but rude every other time. Vince is the worst. He is not friendly and does not correct anyone’s form. It seems like he just wants to flirt with guys in the class. The 2 blonde girls are pretty terrible. Angel is the exception. She is SO nice and is a great trainer. It seems like she genuinely cares.
