After raising three kids we’ve dealt with a lot of dentists over the years. Dr. Baltazar has got to be the best dentist our family has ever had. He’s a no nonsense type of dentist that will only recommend necessary services. You can tell he is always happy to see his patients . His patients are loyal to him as we have many friends that have been seeing him for years. Our family, and now our adult children continue to use him as their dentist because of his extensive knowledge, years of experience, and above all else his honesty.

Dr Baltazar has been my dentist since 1984. Its amazing to me that it has been 30 years and he is still providing great care to me and my family (parents, brother and sister). He looks out for the best interests of his clients. He is thorough and he cares about you. He makes recommendations for the best course, not to make money on extra dental work. Im 36, Ive never had a cavity and I will be one of his patients when I need dentures. Id give him six stars if I could.

Dr. Baltazar and his staff are the best in the business. Ive been going to him for 25 years and my wife and 3 children are patients as well. We always feel like part of their family when we go there and they truly have that personal touch. I dont mind and actually enjoy the cleanings and my children have all had great experiences as well. Ive had few cavities over the years but when I have, the work was fast and painless and my bite felt comfortable when it was over. Dr. Baltazar always takes the time to check thoroughly for long term health problems and explains everything he does in detail. Years ago I had company dental insurance and Dr. Baltazar wasnt on the list but I paid full price anyway just to be able to go to him. I would not trust my teeth to anyone else!

I have only had positive experiences with Dr. Baltazar! I have always hated going to the dentist because of the pain with the anesthesia but he has a way to not make it painful by slowly injecting and moving with very gentle hands. He is the best dentist I have ever had. His staff is super friendly and always so sweet. You will enjoy going to his office for all your dental needs.

I have been going to Dr. Baltazar for over 12 years now, and have been very satisfied. One (of the many) areas where the Dr. excels is taking the time to explain procedures to the patients slowly and calmly, encouraging questions, never making the patient feel rushed. Not only me, but I can hear the same when I am in the hygienists area.Another positive is that it is a real family oriented dentistry, where you can feel at home knowing everyone. Not the assembly line at some clinics.

Actually a fairly terrible dentist experience. They suggested work that was unnecessary and unskillfully performed it causing more damage than what I started with. Unfinished and poor quality work. By far my least favorite dental experience Ive had. Poor billing processes, as well. Seems sketchy.Edit: Yes, that was me. You found my record. So dont say that I wasnt a patient; you just said I was.

I had a bad experience with a dentist before coming to Dr. Baltazars office. The staff is very polite and friendly. Dr. Baltazar is amazing. He explains the procedures thoroughly and makes sure that you understand everything. I was very pleased with my teeth cleaning. Everyone is very knowledgeable and are eager to help. Our family has been visiting Dr. Baltazar since our kids were young, Dr. Baltazar and his wonderful staff literally been our dental guardian, for so many years he has been watching over us, letting us know when it was time for a cleaning or to schedule preventive care visits. A couple of years ago my wife and I retired from the work force and retired in Baja, Mexico on the Pacific cost approximately 150 miles from the US/Mexican border.We still continue to use Dr. Baltazar for our dental needs and schedule appointments with visits to San Diego. Last week on an overnight visit to SD I broke a dental crown while dining, even though it was after office hours I called Dr. Baltazar and received his “Hot Line” number from the office recording and quickly called him at home. After explaining my dental problem Dr. Baltazar checked his next day’s schedule and found it completely booked, he scheduled an appointment the next day one hour prior to regular business hours. Dr. Baltazar and his staff reported to work an hour early and were waiting when I arrived. Dr. and staff worked great to fit me for a new crown, and requested the new crown to be ready in three days so I could return home to Baja. Furthermore, since I don’t have dental insurance, Dr. Balthazar was very compassionate by providing a Professional discount, helping me sleep better at night.

Ive been a patient of Dr. Baltazars and his staff since I was 17. Im almost 41 now so if thats not enough of a seal of approval I dont know what is. I had a wonderful experience at Dr. Baltazar’s office! I am the type of person who hates the dentist. I go pretty regularly but I hate the sound of the drill, and my teeth are super sensitive to cold and hot water. Prior to going to Dr. Baltazar’s office I had attended another dental office in San Diego based on a recommendation of someone I went to work with and it was a horrible experience. The dentist was arrogant, rough with my teeth, tried to get me to buy extra products, and ended the appointment by giving me a list of all the work I needed done totaling $2,500 after insurance. I left so angry and scared that my teeth were falling apart.Instead of going back to begin getting the work done I check around a lot! Finally, after asking around, calling different offices, and reading reviews online I heard about Dr. Baltazar’s office. I went in with the statement from my past appointment, to get a second opinion and to see if I like Dr. Baltazar’s office better. Dr. Baltazar and all his staff were friendly and polite. They check out my teeth and then went through each filling/cap/suggestion the other office had recommended me and explained why or why not anything should or shouldn’t be done. In the end Dr. Baltazar told me my teeth were all fine and that I didn’t need any of the procedures that the previous dentist had recommended. One of the previous suggestions was to put a cap over a tooth that I had fixed in a foreign country. Dr. Baltazar explained that if I wanted too I could fix it but if It didn’t bother me then there was no need to have it fixed.He is awesome! I would 100% recommend anyone to go to him!
