This place is amazing I love he does really good work I would recommend this it’s the best

I had a filling done in my lower molar, the dentist left too large of gap between my molars so I asked him to re-do the filling, in the process the dentist removed way too much tooth material. This dentist is very aggressive when cleaning teeth and scrapes off enamel recklessly. Needless to say I have never returned to this dentist and I would not recommend this Dentist to anyone. Now I go to Palomar Dental Group.

Great service. Very honest. My wife had gotten a crown from another dr in chula vista. They told us it was just a temporary crown and would need to go back for the permanent crown. Dr Sullivan told us it was actually a expensive crown and no need for new one. To me that shows what kind of man he is. Very high integrity. Great character. I recommend him to everyone.

Well I was here a year ago for a cavity due to a broken filling. After a year later a cavity has grown under the new filling and ate away right next to the root. So I now have to get my first root canal. Yay me.Also the doctor was nice but they randomly stopped taking the insurance I had used last time

Terrible customer service. Their office manager is rude and snappy. You need to wait for a long time before the dentist attends to you. Also, his treatment was not good. So, I needed to get retreated by another dentist shortly after

PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE!!This is honestly the most RESPECTABLE, HUMBLE, HONEST, CARING dentist you will ever meet. Dr. Soliven is an incredible dental professional and human being. He composes himself with such humility and confidence that it is impossible to feel uncomfortable in his presence. I felt totally at ease and comfortable with him and the suggestions he made for my teeth. For the FIRST time in my life, I am able to say that this dentist GENUINELY cares about what his patients truly NEED...Not what they want or what they dont really need, he looks at each of us uniquely and doesnt try to up-sell or add anything that is unnecessary to the invoice or procedure.As I was in the waiting room, I met Ken, one of Dr. Solivens regulars, and he was telling me how he was always deathly afraid of dentists up until he came into Dr. Solivens office. Ken told me that he has never been able to go any other dentist and thanks to Dr. Solivens calm countenance and professional talent, Ken has overcome his fear of the dentist!! Now Ken only feels safe and comfortable going to Dr. Soliven for all of his oral needs.That story really compelled me to publicly praise and applaud Dr. Soliven and his whole team at Universal Smiles.The cherry on top was Joy. Ive only seen him twice but thus far each experience has been great. Dr. Soliven is warm and engaging. One thing is its not your one stop shop. You do get referred out for more complex procedures (i.e. orthodontics, endodontics, oral surgery). Staff is fun. And theyre very well located (sandwiched between NP, HC, & UH). Ill update more as I go.

Great choice for a dentist and very reasonable prices.
