This is the first vet I’ve ever gone to who hasn’t tried to push product, do unnecessary tests prematurely, or make me feel rushed. He’s young, knowledgeable, and has a very good bedside manner. His assistant, Mikella was very professional and I really appreciated her approach today. She was thoughtful, gentle, and made such I understood everything before I left. The front desk manager was also very friendly.Overall great experience and I will definitely be back!!

If you want the best for yourself your budget and your animal. Please go anywhere else. This place is disgusting. Homeless people everywhere and the staff is nothing less of trash. Please pick anywhere else.

We are not even patients here, but we called when no one else could see us for an emergency, including our own regular vet. The doctor spent time with us on the phone and connected us with an ER doctor who saw my cat right away. I’m so thankful and will likely switch to Dr Joseph because of this!

After 15 minutes standing at the front door we found out that the Doctor was late, for a personal coffee and doughnuts run. M Actually saw and spoke to him, then the assistant came out to tell us we’re late and they can’t see our dog!!!! Insanity!!! Quality and professionalism has sadly diminished the last 15 months.

Bayside helped out when my pup was sick with a cold. They were polite and very helpful and the whole process didn’t take long.

WOOOOOW how do I rate this place higher than 5 stars. When every literally EVERY place in a San Diego county either refused to see me or wanted to charge over 1000 to get a tiny hook out of my dogs mouth and Bayside only charged $150 WOW i actually cried so much of happiness love y’all

Bayside is wonderful. We went to their office with two senior cats we loved. The office staff was warm. Medical services were excellent and costs were quite reasonable. When we had to board our cats, from time to time, they provided professional services and understanding. When it was time to let each one of our cats go, they were respectful and caring. Then we adopted a three year old cat they had living in the office. This cat has brought great comfort to us.Recently dog owners we had referred a few years ago also had to put their dog down. They had the same great experience of compassion we received. I would like to add that their dogs life was extended at least three years by the type of treatment provided! We highly recommend Bayside to all pet owners.

DR. R. AND STAFF, I MOSTLY KNOW JENNIFER & ALISHA- HAVE BEEN TERRIFIC, THOROUGH, SUPPORTIVE & HELPFUL. This started when my mom rescued a litter of kittens. They worked with us on treatment and costs to take care of them. We board r little Leo kitty w/them when we travel and know he is loved at Bayside. My dachshund 14yrs. old had to be put down. Dr. R & Jennifer had a beautiful goodbye time for Molly. A forever memory. I highly recommend Bayside.

Dr. Rozsa and staff are the best. I have never experienced such warmth and compassion from a vet. Everyone treats you like family and your pets like their own. My dog and I always stop by and visit between exams. He loves them all! Theyre professional, organized, clean and its clear they love what they do and all work together as a team.

We switched to Bayside per a friends recommendation after dealing with a pushy vet that was an alarmist on everything that could be wrong with our dog. We were treated by Dr Joseph and he was always very kind, thorough, and gave us all of our options. The staff is also very kind and you can tell they love animals. We are so glad we switched and would highly recommend.

Every staff member treats my cat with the same love and respect that I treat him with. The vets are very experienced and work around my cats behavior, which is very sporadic. My experience has never been bad and gas always been warm understanding. Highly recommended to anyone!

I have been taking my cats to Bayside Vet for a couple of years now. After making the move to San Diego from LA I was worried about finding a great vet that I could not only trust, but that I could also afford. I am so thrilled with the service and attention my cats have always received here. I recently adopted a pug puppy at 8 weeks old and it is my first time caring for a dog. I have called Bayside almost every day since bringing her home and every time I call with my questions I could have probably just googled, they take the time to educate me. I could not ask for a better and more helpful staff.

I came in for vaccines and then noticed a weird lesion on her belly. Even though they booked out a quick appt for vaccines, the doctor went ahead and did a full exam instead of making me come back. I was very pleased and will be back for future needs for Bella.

I was extremely impressed with Dr. Rozsa and her her staff. They are beautiful with the pups, with many kisses and gentle talk to make them feeling loved and comforted. Explanations were very explicit and I had a thorough understanding of the treatments for Our Girls.

I did a lot of research before switching vets and everything I looked up pointed me towards Bayside. I have never had Jack (my dog) be so calm at a vet. The nurses and doctors are great. I would highly recommend taking your animal to Bayside for veterinary needs in San Diego.

Wonderful veterinarians and staff. Have been going for years -- with dog and cat -- and always received professional services. Took the time to do a thorough exam and provided advice and options. They do not try to upsell you like so many other vet offices we have tried over the years. This office is great and I highly recommend them. They even are open on Saturdays and now Sundays!

My 13 year old Chihuahua mix was very ill from a smoked pork bone that splintered in his stomach and intestines. Dr. Rozsa worked tirelessly to help him without surgery. She saved his life, and all the while was sweet and gentle to him as if he was her own pet. The cost was incredibly fair and he is acting like a puppy again, playful and energetic. I cant say enough good things about this veterinary clinic.

Groomer did an awesome lion cut in my kitty. It was her first time, and she didnt even seem phased. Groomer even left notes in what she did and how my kitty reacted to things. Love their waiting room kitty, James Bond, too.

We have used Bayside when sailing to Mexico, to get the necessary paperwork for our kitty to accompany us. We were very pleased with their professionalism & friendliness. We heartily recommend their services.

The care provided at Bayside is exceptional. The whole team is dedicated to providing outstanding vet care. My Boxer is a frequent visitor and not once did I feel like we were being taken advantage of or offered questionable services. When my dog ate a Bird of Paradise flower (yep, they are poisonous), they got him in immediately to remove it even though it was closing time. I was not charged for anything other than basic services. Thank you Bayside. I hope we dont have to come back anytime soon (other than regular checkups!)

I loved this hospital because of the staff,Jennifer is amazing and Dr Roza was the best she saved my beautiful beloved cat Thumbelina and she is passionate about animals which was important to me.Since she left I won’t be returning because the new doctor wasn’t up to par and took 4 days to return my call about my sick cat that is on medication and need to know dosage information. Dr Roza was one of a kind and will be missed.

The staff is friendly, but they seem more suited to dogs rather than cats. Having the house cats walking around my cat in his carrier only made him extra stressed out about the visit. The vet that we saw just really didnt seem to know much about cats at all.

It was our first visit and I will definitively go back there. Awesome team, Dr Rozsa is so loving that my cat felt comfortable which never happen when I was going to other places.

Bayside Veterinary Hospital is one of the most caring environments you can place your pet into. I only go in a couple times a year but they always remember my dog, his name, and myself.Dr. Rosza is excellent, very upfront with your pets needs and only has their best interest at heart and the other nurses and techs have always been extremely friendly and are totally apt to offer free advice.In my experience, Bayside has always given us reasonable rates, and Ive never felt taken advantage of--ever.They also do a recommendation program where you are given credit for referring friends to them and can save something like $10-$20 on your next visit.Love this office and highly recommend to anyone in San Diego, I drive from downtown just to see them in Point Loma, and my dog is never afraid to go in.

Max and Giovanni (cats) have been patients here for four years and they have had the best care from the friendly and competent staff. Giovanni received a misdiagnosis at another vet who said he had to be put to sleep but Dr. Rosa made a correct diagnosis and saved Giovannis life.

We live in Chula Vista and started out at South Bay Veterinary Hospital. We took our cat in and the Vet that we saw was Dr. Rozsa. She was a very caring person and treated our cat like she was her own.When Dr. Rozsa moved to Bayside, we and our pets followed! With traffic, sometimes in can take close to one hour to get there. I hope that she doesnt move further north, we would have to follow again.She and her entire staff are very caring and loving to the animals. We feel very Blessed to have found such a competent place to trust our pets to.

Bayside Veterinary Hospital has been the place Ive taken my cats for over six years now. I moved to Point Loma from North Park and I needed a closer vet. Im blessed that I saw their phone number on a banner on their building.....I took my cats in for their annual shots and the next week, my cat Tiger ate something poisoned. I rushed my deathly ill cat to Dr. Rozsa. She took my cat into the back and babied and loved him for over 24 hours. The people that work there CARE about the animals. Tiger, thankfully, made it through the night and he recovered. If it werent for Dr. Rozsa and her wonderful staff my cat would have died. If you just need shots for your pet or if your pet is injured and needs help right away....take them to Bayside Vet. They are good at what they do and they love each and every animal that comes in and theyre friendly to people too.

Finally, after years of owning pets and taking them to different vets, I have found a place that truly cares about your pet. Not only is Dr. Rozsa the most caring, warm and loving veterinarian you will ever meet but her staff members are exactly like her.You are always greeted warmly when you arrive and they seem genuinely happy to see you. You are also always greeted by their two guard cats who will quickly offer you their backs for your petting pleasure.I had a Chihuahua that hated everybody and taking her to any vet was a nightmare.But here, not only were they were able to groom her, but she actually started to become attached to the staff, especially Emily. When my Chihuahua was killed by two pitbulls, the staff did everything they could to help me get through it. I was so distraught over the incident that I suffered a heart attack and was hospitalized. They came to my house to pick up my pets body and made arrangements for her cremation. I could not have made it without their loving support.Dr Rosza truly is a vet who loves animals. She hugs and kisses my pets when they come to see her. She is so gentle with them and she clearly explains what she is doing and why, so you have a clear understanding on what is going on with your pets health.Yesterday I had to put my beloved Dalamatian down and Dr. Rosza was extremely gentle with my dog. She explained every step of the process as she was doing it and my dog went through it with no stress or anxiety. It was a peaceful passing, unlike an experience I had gone through with another vet who sent another one of my dogs into a panic attack as she was dying.Dr. Rosza and her staff are the best ever. Im luck to have found them.You can tell that Dr. Rosza truly loves animals. She even kisses and hugs my little Chihuahua. explains clearly what ailment my pet is suffering from and her recommendations.
