One of the worst massages Ive had before. Therapist was so overweight that when she was standing massaging my back her stomach rested on my head. She sat down almost the entire time, which I doubt let her get the best angles. She dripped massage oil on my head. She used almost no variability in technique, doing the same motions over and over again for minutes on end. Had to end the 90 minute massage 10 minutes early.

This is the home of the BEST most loving, talented and extraordinary massage therapist I and my husband have ever encountered. In the US or Europe. Because she is FABULOUS I am raving—knowing full well it may make getting in for an appt. ;-)even harder. Kala has the skill and spirit of a healer! My first massage in over a year and such a wonderful experience. The massage itself was fantastic but what stood out especially was how kind my masseuse, Angela, was. I had a hard time finding the spa and finding parking (due to my own unfamiliarity with the area - it’s not located in a tricky spot or anything, I’m just easily confused!) and I ended up 15 minutes late, sweating and panting after sprinting from my car to the spa, and Angela was so kind and reassured me that everything was fine and she gave me my full massage despite my being late, which she absolutely didn’t have to do. I was hoping that this experience would be a positive one as I was looking for my new regular massage spot and I definitely found it - I’ll be returning very soon. Can’t recommend them highly enough!

We have been coming here for 12 years and our most recent experience was just as wonderful as all the others. I’m so impressed with the level of effort and diligence around Covid protocols, you can definitely tell they care about both the safety of their clients and staff! The entire process was so easy as well with automated reminder emails/texts with all the info and forms at your fingertips, so you don’t have to stress when trying to get a relaxing massage 😊

This was the most relaxing experience from start to finish. With COVID still being a concern, getting self-care in can feel like a risk. I felt so safe and comforted with the changes DCOMPRESS has made. The massage table was very soft and comfortable. Angela did a great job with addressing my specific problems and my neck and shoulders felt like heaven as I left my massage. Did you know you could get knots around your clavicle?!? Well Angela knew, and she got them all out!!!

I love this place. It’s truly an oasis! I started coming a few months prior to Covid was ecstatic when they re-opened.I love the ambiance that makes you feel special when you walk in. Everyone is wam & welcoming.They’ve done an amazing job operating in the midst of Covid. They make you feel totally safe! They do a pre-appointment health screening, take your temperature, added air filters in the rooms, and the therapist wears a mask. They added a little sink when you walk in where you can wash your hands. Everything is clean and well organized.They allow a lot of time between clients to keep distance and so you can go over what’s going on with you so they can best help you. I never feel rushed.Angela is amazing! She is super strong! She very responsive and so good at adjusting the pressure whether you want it strong or need her to go lighter. Grateful for this sweet little place that has become my self care haven.

Here in SD for work and had a lot of pain in my lower back. It was difficult to stand or walk due to the spasm/verve. I was able to get in same day to see Christina and she did great work. Woke up the next morning, 10 minutes ago, and feel 100% better!

I came here while on vacation in San Diego and had a great experience. Sabrina asked a lot of questions about the pressure I wanted and what problem areas I had to make the massage more personal. She spent a lot of time focusing on those areas during the massage and I left feeling amazing!! She also checked in during the massage to make sure the pressure was ok. Plus, you even get to choose the music you want to listen to during the massage! I will definitely come back if Im ever in San Diego again.

DCompress is awesome! Its an amazing group of professionals who really know their stuff. If you havent been before I totally recommend the Pink Floyd 2 hour session. Very reasonably priced and one of the most relaxing/euphoric experiences. If you can spare the time to treat yourself, you will not be remiss choosing Dcompress.

Megan is the best esthetician youll find. She makes the whole process so easy and stress-free. Im so stoked that she recently added sugaring to her line up! Ive tried it a few times now and its perfect for me. Megan will tell you all about it and help you make you decide what is right for you. Shes so knowledgeable. I always had troubles with the wax and my super sensitive skin, but the sugaring is great for sensitive skin and its all natural. Whether it be waxing or sugaring, you wont be let down at Dcompress.

My husband and three of his friends in the military were in dire need of massages one weekend after hard training all week. I called DCompress, and they hooked us up. She worked with our schedules, got the guys in that weekend, and the massages were fantastic from what the guys said! They said that the massage therapists were able to apply the perfect amount of pressure needed for what their bodies were dealing with. I would recommend them to anyone!

Ive had massage here three times now. The last two were deep tissue massages with Jade. I scheduled one during my trip, and after the first massage, I scheduled a two hour for a week later. Highly recommended.

I got a prenatal massage here from Kelly. She was great! She was super accommodating and it was extremely relaxing. Honestly, probably the best massage Ive ever gotten.

We were visiting San a Diego and I wanted a massage, I was not impressed at all with this place. The ladies were nice but dressed extremely unprofessional. My 60 min massage was horrible. Probably the worst I’ve ever had. They don’t use aromatherapy unless you pay extra for it, the therapist spend quite a bit of time massaging me with a sheet. She sat on the table next to me to do my legs which I don’t think she even spend 2 minutes on each one, it was not a full hour and I had to ask for my own water upon exiting. I would definitely recommend going somewhere else.

You will not be disappointed.A couple years ago, I strained my hamstring about 2 weeks before a big mountaineering trip that I planned to Mount Baker in Washington. I was seriously concerned about whether I was going to be able to summit. After two acupuncture sessions and two therapeutic massages, my hamstring was nearly as good as new and I made it up and down the mountain without any issues.
