Excellent staff and service.Dr. Carmichael took the time to explain in detail everything needed to get my crown done and fix an issue with my other tooth as well.The dental hygienist Bo also did an excellent job. She made the cleaning relatively pain free.Shout out to Pablo for figuring out my insurance and saving me money during whole process.

I left feeling EXTREMELY frustrated with almost the entire office. I was called in early because apparently my crown was ready and I rushed in. While waiting in the office I had to overhear an anti mask conversation between the receptionist husband and daughter. That should been kept private.On top of that, they had the wrong crown…so that means that’s two more weeks I have to wait because this office decided to go on vacation.This office is ALL OVER the place. Once my work is done I will not be back16 minutes was spent talking to Pablo with him ‘nervous’ laughing at me, and threatening to remove financial considerations if I do not remove my reviews. I am fuming.

Pablo the office manager is great. Quick at figuring out my insurance coverage and helping get best value for the work that I need (without upselling). The dentist office I visited before this one tried to use scare tactics to get me to agree to a crown procedure that I did not need.I’ve been to Dr. Carmichael’s office twice for cleanings, Van is a great dentist. She is patient and was attentive to my discomfort thresholds. When she saw me wince, she took a second, let me gather myself, and carried on.Thanks Van and Pablo.Coming back for fill-ins.

Went there for my initial exam and cleaning. They refused to do a cleaning and charged my insurance for it. They said instead I needed a deep cleaning and insurance didnt cover it. 500$! I called insurance and it was in fact covered 100%. Not sure who does the insurance, but they were incorrect or purposely committing fraud. Hopefully just incompetent. The dentist also said I needed 4 crowns that would cost 4800 with insurance. I called and they said this was not only covered at 80%, but a 2nd opinion then told me all 4 were cavities. I would suggest getting a 2nd opinion before spending money here and ALWAYS ASK FOR A PRE AUTHORIZATION BEFORE GETTING ANY WORK DONE! THIS IS HOW THEY SCAM EVERYONE.

I love this dental office. The road was a little bumpy in feeling like this place was my go to dentist but their customer service totally made up for it.

Pablo and Mike are awesome at the front desk, they will make sure to get all your insurance stuff right. Dr. Carmichael and the rest of the staff are very courteous and are happy to answer any questions you have. I havent been to a better dentist.

This place gave me the absolute worst dental experience of my life, and Ive been to dozens of places over the years. I came in for what I thought would be a regular cleaning and instead it was some sort of exam to determine what type of cleaning Id need. Also known as them trying to up-charge patients for more than necessary work. Never has a dentist done this before. You come in for the appointment and if anything else is needed they recommend it. I waited for twenty minutes while the hygienists trickled in from lunch breaks and when I was called back the lady helping me reeked of cigarettes. She looked at my teeth and commented on how even though I told them it had been a year since my last cleaning I had almost no sign of plaque or build up and my teeth looked great. Then the dentist comes in and starts poking around. She took a sharp silver tool and started measuring my gums. This is what they always do so I didnt think anything of it. Then she gets to the last tooth and starts jabbing into my gums. She tells me Im bleeding and that I should never bleed when I floss. I told her I floss every day and it never bleeds and she rolls her eyes at me! Im confused because she wasnt even flossing my teeth, she was poking at them with a sharp metal tool. Of course its bleeding! Then she asks the other lady to take pictures where its bleeding for insurance. What a crook! After all of this they send me off to the person in charge of discussing finances, without ever even doing the cleaning, and he tells me I actually need a deep periodontal cleaning which will be $560!!! Ive had these types of cleanings on a tooth many years ago when I had an infection and they are two hour, very invasive, cleanings for deep-rooted issues. Not for a standard patient that just needs a cleaning! I told him I know that I dont need this service and Ill just book my regular cleaning. He tells me Im no longer qualified for a regular cleaning and its this or nothing! I was at another dentist (an extremely highly rated and award winning dentist) a month ago paying out of pocket for some work I needed done right away and they told me that without insurance it would cost me $150 for a cleaning. Why am I paying for insurance in the first place and why would I pay some low-life crook of a dentist almost $600 for a deep cleaning I dont need when I could go to a reputable talented dentist and pay $150 without insurance?! I asked what it costs for a routine cleaning and they said that was free. I told them I pay for the lower premium insurance because Im a single mom and cant afford the higher one, so where would I come up with $600 for a cleaning? He told me most people just make payments. I had to leave work early and arrange for child care just so I could go in to the dentist for what I thought would be a routine cleaning. I overheard them in the waiting room telling multiple patients they needed the same type of cleaning. These people are trying to scam as many of their customers as they can and I cant believe how many of them are falling for it! Ive had way too much experience with dentists and all types of dental work and insurance companies to let these people try to take advantage. They are the WORST!!!! I hope everyone considering going here will look at this review and think twice before you make an appointment!!!!

Dr. Carmichael is great! She has brought a lot of new and updated technology to the practice. During my appointment Dr. Carmichael diagnosed me needing a root canal. She was very gentle and informative. I felt I had a complete understanding of what was being done and what was needing to be done in the future. The front staff was wonderful. Nancy helped me understand my insurance benefits and I feel confident that I am being taken care of. I recommend Dr. Carmichael and her staff to everyone!

Friendly staff and a competent dentist. They work around your schedule and get appointments when others cancel. They have latest equipment in house and good hygienists. Works with most insurances and promotions.

Dr. Carmichael was AMAZING! I have some very serious dental anxiety, and not only did she LITERALLY hold my hand, she explained everything she was doing (and why), and then went over my action plan very thoroughly. I had to switch from my longtime dentist for insurance reasons-he was very good, and I had come to not flinch any time he put a top in my mouth. I am SO glad his office doesnt accept my plan anymore-he was great, but Dr. Carmichael and her staff are outstanding!

Dr. Carmichael is a wonderful addition to Dr. Codingtons practice. He did a great job finding someone who would take great care of his patients. She explained the procedures that I needed and helped me understand why a crown was necessary The front desk girls helped me find a way to pay for my crown in an affordable way. Gloria is a wonderful assistant who took great care of me while having my work done.

I had to have a crown for the first time at 60+ years of age and was somewhat apprehensive about the procedure. Dr. Carmichael and her staff were extremely kind and understanding. They explained every step of the process which helped to relieve my anxiety. During the procedure, they made sure that I did not feel any pain and reassured me that everything was going great. Yesterday when I went back for the permanent crown, Dr. Carmichael spent a significant amount of time with me making sure that it fit perfectly. Everyone in the office is friendly and easy going. We are lucky to have Dr. Carmichael and her caring staff in our community!

Im new to Dr. Carmichaels office and found her to be very proficient and through. Everyone is so nice and welcoming. The office has the newest technology, like a laser to help fight gum disease. Thank you for taking such great care of me.

Dr. Carmichael is extremely caring, gentle and a fun dentist. She is invested in her patients and their families. Her chair side assistants are quick to make sure you are confortable and not in distress. The hygienists are very gentle and work extremely well with our Special Needs son. I have never met a Dentist and staff like this in my life. From the staff members to the Dentist Natayla herself they are caring, openhearted and truthwothy. This is the first time in my 50 year life that I have found a dentist who isnt just about the money, they truly live a mission through this office to help people. They will work with you to make a way to get what you need. I believe that God blessed me the minute I walked through their doors. This is so rare to find, and they are a hidden gem. The staff is welcoming and friendly. They had a lot of availability to schedule an appointment. Dr. Carmichael was thorough & the hygienist has done a great job cleaning my teeth. Google maps does mess up the route a little bit, so be careful not to pass it .
