In town on a visit. Needing a haircut badly. Because if covid-19. Most salons were closed or appts only.Getting to luzmar salon, wasnt a problem. With my limited Spanish I mimic my need. Sat down in the chair and she did a great job. Washing and scrubbing my hair, clippers to my hair, trimming ear and neck hairs,. Etc... I Would fly to San Diego every 6 weeks to get pampered by her. Dont let the neighbor hood or the building scare you ( its not pretty). Inside her shop its clean, bright and lively mexican music. Sloh

Ellen has great products and she always recommending the best things for me. I’ve recommended many people to her and they equally have had the best experience. 50/50 chance either, they mess you up or they do a good job although most of the times they do a good job. Depends who your barber is. 8/10

This place leaves your head bleeding with lots of cuts and poor job done to your hair. They are trying to rush the process and at the same time watching tv. My head was full of painful cuts and blood and they still charged me full price with a smile. Not to mention my hair had so many mistakes (places not cut, etc) I had to go home to fix it with a razor.

Bad haircut and charge me something i didnt ask for...I just got home and my hair looks horrible

IDK about this place, is okay for haircuts but most of the products they can me damaging to the hair, the ladies there most of them do their job good, but I dont see an update on the hair cuts, seems like they need new techniques for pixie cuts, the girls are usually on their phones..

All very friendly! But one in particular behaved very badly to say that my son had a lot of hair to ask for it with scissors! Well they are supposed to grab the cut how you ask them! Not as she wants to cut it !!! And obviously it is not free if I work !!!!
