Wesley Palms has done an amazing job keeping their residents safe and engaged during the pandemic. They went to great lengths to change their systems and processes during this extraordinary time in history. From providing weekly Activity packets, to delivering 3 meals a day, (and many other things in between) their efforts have been Herculean. Thank you Wesley Palms!

I have been a resident of Wesley Palms since 2013 and absolutely love it!. The staff here is just wonderful. When I walk in the front door, I am greeted with a big smile and a how are you? They call you by name and always have a minute to talk with you. You can tell they like their jobs. Everyone one here, residents and staff are like one big family!. They just opened a new hair salon on the property. We have daily exercise classes and a really nice pool. I also get to volunteer in our gift shop and on our birthday committee. There is so many things to do here to stay active. This will be my home forever and the smartest move I ever made!

For the past three years around the holidays, Wesley Palms has suspended services due to flu-like symptoms (not actual cases of flu). Is this an annual tradition?This year services were suspended from Dec 23th - Jan 4th (12 days). This includes suspension of dining, activities and transportation service. The dining room, gym, store, shop, library, beauty shop, computer room and coffee and flavored water stations were all closed. Residents had to stand in line to pick up box meals and were basically confined to their rooms.

It is a dated mid century facility with all the services. The view from the top is wonderful. We want something more up to date, however, when the time comes.

Great facilities, great service, super friendly place. Im relieved 😌 that my Mom is in such a beautiful place with high quality attention. I can rest assured.

It’s old, run down. Am not happy with Skilled Nursing set up.So very far from Scripps Trauma center(ER)From Pacific beach on 5N to Scripps or UCSD. In case of cardiac arrest or respiratory arrest our BRAINS only live most 5minutes!

When my mothers community was shut down because of flu, Wesley Palms came to my rescue so we could celebrate my mothers 100th birthday there. A big thank you to the caring and efficient staff, especially Muhannad Sofi-Haji and Sean OLeary for making it a wonderful day for my mom!

This is a great community. Clean, lots of activities including educational classes, and just a great place to hang out.

The Wesley Palms Retirement Community in the La Jolla / Pacific Beach neighborhood of San Diego is outstanding. It has been around since 1961 / 1962. I have been living here for over 4 years now,and am very happy with the facilities and staff.Our activity programs here are without equal. We also get off campus to many events and shows. The Padres games are a good example.The Dining Services Staff is outstanding. The menu is suburb and diversified. The Dining Room Manager, Muhannad Sofi-Haji, goes out of his way to take care of residents and their dining needs. He has arranged for special dishes for me to take to off campus events. This is just one example of how the staff cares for the residents here at Wesley Palms.Prior to moving to Wesley Palms, I looked at many other residential retirement communities here in San Diego County. In my opinion, none of the others measured up to what we have here at Wesley Palms and our beautiful 35 acre campus, overlooking the Pacific Ocean and Mission Bay.Gregg W.
