After more than half a dozen other therapists over multiple years with no success, my child finally found someone to connect with and made progress thanks to David Zane and Counseling Associates of Utah. We went from watching hopelessly as our child spiraled downward to seeing noticeable and appreciable improvements. My wife and I couldnt be more grateful for the excellent care our child received, and the chance we now see for them to have a better future than we previously anticipated. I cant say enough good things about my time with David at Counseling Associates of Utah. He is the kind of person who goes out of his way for the people he cares about I can genuinely say he cared about me. When I went to see him it wasnt something I thought much about. I wasnt opposed to therapy, but I didnt think I needed it. However, it really ended up being like going back to school in a lot of ways. It was never about me needing help, it was always about having a mentor again who helped guide me towards books, techniques, tools, and communication styles that really improved my relationships with my friends and family. And in that process I was able to identify areas I wanted to change and get guidance on how to. I cant think of a single person who wouldnt benefit from time spent with David, or for that matter any amazing therapist like him. I think theres a stigma around making these recommendations. Maybe theres some truth to this type of talk showing some of my vulnerability or past failures. But I know that I learned so much from him and I would wish that for anyone else. If youre struggling at all in any way, or even if youre not sure, David will be a great mentor to you too.
