As a martial artist, I sometimes run into muscular issues that hinder me from using techniques as efficiently as I can. When I went to see Kimberly, it was for deep tissue massage to loosen tight trapezius muscles that got in the way of movements initiated by the scapula. Kimberly covered all the major muscle groups but focused on the problem areas. She was very intuitive about how to treat different tissue areas and brought a good energy to our communication about how the massage was going. This is especially important for deep tissue massage because clients have widely varying prior experience and pain thresholds, that the therapist must become familiar with on the fly. I would note that unlike many therapists Ive worked with, Kimberly is very straightforward when she speaks, which I appreciate because you dont want to be second-guessing what the therapist is thinking in the middle of treatment.On Kimberlys advice, I also received a cupping treatment which, although I cant comment on the execution due to lack of specific knowledge, did leave me feeling very physically relaxed after the treatment. Problems like mine typically take multiple sessions to fully address. That was true in this case, but I felt a significant improvement in my shoulder mobility despite the fact that this was only my first time working with Kimberly.Overall, I was very satisfied with the treatment I received and would happily engage Kimberlys services again if opportunity permits.

Kim was so attentive as a massage therapist. I typically prefer a light to medium pressure massage and she was always communicating throughout the session to make sure I was comfortable and feeling good. You can just tell that shes a professional because of the way she handles your body. She can tell whats wrong and how to make it feel better.I also did a cupping session with her and she was so skilled with them! I appreciated how she warned me that the cups would feel tight at first, but would ease up after a few minutes. She is experienced in so many different massage techniques, its impressive. Went in going for a Swedish massage and after discussing some aches/pains, Kim recommended cupping. I am typically super sensitive, but this experience was WONDERFUL and I’ve never felt better. Kim is an excellent communicator, and does a wonderful job creating a serene environment. I will absolutely keep going back and would recommend anyone in the SLC area to see her.

We were visiting from MA and found Kimberly on google. It was easy to set up an appointment and theres good communication about re-scheduling. When I asked her what type of massage I need, she said Ill need to feel you your energy and body then we know what we do. I knew I was in the right place, and not somewhere that just does the same type of SPA-type routine on everybody. Kimberly ended up using a combination of Ashiatsu, deep tissue and cupping to help with my shoulder pain and back pain. Afterwards I feel relaxed and less pain overall. Strongly recommend!

As you walk into Kim’s office you can feel her good energy and vibe. The ashiatsu hurts but you feel much better immediately after. I would recommend her to someone who has deep muscular issues. Let me preface by saying, Ive had probably 1,000-2,000 massages in my life. Ive consistently had them since I was 21 and Im 35. I had to have back surgery due to a car accident and have battled serious pain from tight hips as a result. Kims ability to open my hips was like no other. I have range of motion I thought was forever gone. I came in hobbling & left feeling like a Cirque acrobat doing splits. I feel so much longer and relaxed. The tension gripping my lower hack and hip flexors melted away. Went for my first time, and was welcomed as if I had been going there for years. Kim is amazing with her techniques. I am currently 9 months pregnant and experiencing lower back pain. Highly recommended. I had an excellent massage/experience with Kim. While visiting Salt Lake on a skiing trip with the family; I decided I needed a rest day to recuperate and book a massage. I have a chronically sore shoulder/neck and ankle from some prior injuries which Kim worked out perfectly. Kim was very aware and tuned into how I was feeling (how was the pressure? Is this OK? Etc etc) throughout the massage without being annoying. My body felt so amazing after the massage I elected to have Kim use some cupping therapy as well. Loved it!If you expect a formal waiting room with a receptionist and such you may be disappointed but it isn’t about the what the waiting room looks like it’s about the massage and Kim doesn’t disappoint.She is very personable and a beautiful soul. She customizes my massage to ensure we get through the areas that need the most attention. *on a personal note, I had been trying to conceive a child for about 8 months.
