The podiatrist’s at summit foot and ankle were so helpful!! I had been dealing with ankle and arch pain and had called around to other doctors who couldn’t get me in for WEEKS! Dr Decker was able to get me in so soon which sped up my recovery that much more! She was so knowledgeable and I started feeling pain relief that same day after applying some of her recommendations! The staff was very polite. The dr was thorough in examining my sons damaged toe. They were fast and efficient. They had an X-ray machine that made the process very simple. The office was clean, new and very pleasant! I highly recommend them.

Saw this office in March and it was decided that I would need a surgery for a painful foot problem, I have called monthly since then to ask why I haven’t heard anything and have been brushed off or ignored every time. I’ve been told multiple times that someone would call me to schedule the surgery, with no follow-up, and other times my messages and calls have been completely ignored. Decided to go with another doctor and was able to get in right away. Don’t trust this office if you’re hoping for professionalism and quality patient care.

I have suffered from ingrown toenails my entire adult life. When I walked into the clinic was told they could eliminate the problem, my reaction was surprise; how could I not have known about this? Who thinks that cartoonish wounds are desirable/ compelling advertisement methods?Ive unsubscribed from all junk mail (FTC free method and paid methods), and these still sneak through and end up straight in the trash.*response* Im sure those who have such wounds can unfortunately see the severity in full form. How do I unsubscribe from your mass mailings when these are irrelevant to my household?

I came into SFA with fairly severe nerve pain in my right foot resulting from trauma to my glute/leg. Both the staff and Dr. Decker were great. She was kind and informative and I certainly wouldnt hesitate recommending SFA to anyone. For anyone dealing with nerve pain, Im sure they would agree that it can be tricky and isnt something that necessarily goes away as quickly as pain resulting from sprains or breaks. Im just glad I went in when I did and am grateful for the care they provided.

Dr Decker is the best!! So nice and easy going. Makes you feel at ease. Listens to you and communicates easily. Shows concern and empathy for her patients. Wow! I saw Dr. Ellsworth and had foot surgery. It went far better than I anticipated. He was very personable and attentive. My recovery has been amazing. If I knew it was going to be this good I would have had the surgery done a long time ago. I would highly recommend.

Dr. Ellsworth is one of the most professional, personable, and knowledgeable doctors I have ever seen. I was acknowledged immediately by his staff when entering the office, and the wait time was very reasonable. Even though my visit was short I felt like the doctor was present and concerned about my issue, and I received excellent treatment! I would recommend, and have recommended, him to everyone.

Worst place and staff! Went in for a toe nail removal about four times and it continues to come back.Ellsworth stated his work was guaranteed the first time. Went in the second or third time and Decker did not prescribe any antibiotic knowing it was infected until the fourth time she mentioned it was infected and needed antibiotics before the procedure. So much for being a DOCTOR! Now that my balance has been paid off the front desk staff and so called “doctors” claim they never guarantee the work. They just say guarantee from the beginning that to take your money.

I went in to for an ingrown toe removal and Dr. Ryan and his staff were amazing. I had a bad experience in the past and was super scared to have to go through this again. The process was simple and easy. Dr. Ryan explained everything he was going to do and made me feel very comfortable about everything. Totally recommend this place!

Fantastic experience, after getting the run around in primary care hell trying to get my 12 year old sons foot problems adequately diagnosed, a friend recommended me to this clinic. Within 1 hour they had met with my son, taken X-rays, and the doctor sat with my son and explained what was going on in what needed to happen for him to heal in an extremely friendly and age appropriate manner. To the outsider 1 hour may seem rushed but it didnt feel like that at all, the office was just extremely efficient and all staff were very friendly. I was actually just in the process of recommending them to a friend when I a saw the Google Review site and felt compelled to share our experience, I really never write reviews.

Dr. Royall and his staff are all I could have hoped for. He has been my podiatrist for 2 years and has always provided the absolute best care, advice and treatment during every visit and for every issue.If you are looking for a doctor whose medical knowledge is encyclopedic, treats the whole person, and takes the time to be caring even while maintaining a very efficient office, then Dr.Royall is someone you should consider visiting.

Ingrown toenail removal procedure. Very nice doctor. Skilled at numbing the area. Knew where to insert numbing needle to minimize pain and discomfort. Felt no pain during the entire process. Left feeling confident in how to take care of the area for the next two weeks. Reasonably priced (which matters depending on your health benefits).

We felt like Dr Ellsworth was very thorough in his exam. He gave us good ideas for stretching and treatment. Ive been to a few different podiatrists and hes by far the best Ive met.

First off I want to say these guys are really professional & really caring. But unfortunately my ingrowns were just a lot to handle. My toes are extremely small and round & the skin around my toes is thick & I’m just prone to the ingrown toenail.In total I’ve had 3 separate procedures done. 2 at the riverton location and 1 at the salt lake location. My first surgery we removed both sides of both feet. After my first one, a few days later as I was cleaning my toes, I could very clearly see a chunk of nail still down the side canal of one of my toes but left it alone. Cut to 6 months later, I came in and had to have my right side of my left toe redone. Then 6 months later I came back to have my right toe on the left side re done.**Dr Decker is INCREDIBLE. If you go to this clinic, ask for her. She listens to your concerns, is sweet & caring. She takes her time with you & keeps you informed throughout every step she takes during the procedure. I wish I would have had her from the very beginning!**I praise them for their guarantee, as my last two attempts were free. But the reason for my review now is because I’m currently sitting in another podiatry office having both sides of my left toe redone, but my right side also has grown back on both sides but because I’ll be working tomorrow we’re doing one foot at a time.Every office every doctor will be different than the next & I’m not sure why my first few removals were unsuccessful, but again, these guys were incredible with me & did all they could & I couldn’t ask for more.I still recommend people to this clinic because their customer service is outstanding & I just happened to get unlucky.Lastly, if you’re reading this, please still come see these guys! They’re truly outstanding. Every body is different, every result is different & these guys can & will take care of you!

Prior to our visit, my 11 year old daughter had two relatively traumatic experiences with having “Big Toe” nail removal. She’s been struggling with regrowth that has gone into the skin and has been painful. We heard about The Big Toe Doctor, aka, Summit Foot and Ankle both on FB and TV. We decided it was time to get this taken care of once and for all. Scheduling an appointment was simple and the reception staff was helpful and friendly. When we were talking to the MA, she informed us that they didn’t provide narcotic pain relief after the procedure; I was completely alarmed by this and gave my daughter the choice as to whether or not to continue with the procedure. After what she had been through I didn’t want her to suffer again. In speaking with the doctor, he reassured us that she would be adequately numbed. He also pointed out that failing to numb someone enough was an indicator of poor pain management post-procedure. Naturally, having a needle jammed in your toes doesn’t feel the greatest... but once all was said and done, she was doing great, infact, we observed the entire procedure and she was totally in awe of it! An hour later, we are home and she is feeling great. She was able to leave the office comfortably without the need for a wheelchair. We realized that the last time she had this done elsewhere she experienced pain through the entire procedure. We thought she was just anxious. Knowing what we do now, we can comfortably say that we’d go no where else to have this done and can highly recommend this office for all your foot and ankle, and especially big toe needs! Thank you for taking care of our girl!

I went in to their office for an ingrown nail that was bothering me. Im a new patient to their office I didnt know any of the Drs there, I was lucky that I got Dr. Royall he is the nicest Dr I have ever met he listens to your problems and explains the procedure for your treatment so that you are fully aware. He took care of my ingrown nail quick and it was not painful at all not even when I got the shot to numb my toe. I highly recommend him to anyone he will gladly help you with your problem. I also cant forget the receptionist she was a blonde I didnt catch her name but she was very friendly and funny.

One of my better experiences with a doctor and his office. I visited Dr. Ellsworth at Summit Foot and Ankle Specialists. I had multiple lumps and pain throughout my feet that has become harder and harder to deal with. Dr. Ellswroth was able to find immediate relief for my pain, and gave me several options for taking care of the issues permanently. He was thorough in the exam and made sure he didnt leave any of my concerns unanswered. I was appreciative that he didnt jump to surgical solutions without giving me all the other options along with their benefits and drawbacks.The office visit itself was pleasant, the office staff was friendly and very helpful.
