This is the cleanest hospital I’ve ever been in and the friendliest staff. It’s such a hard place to be and they do a wonderful job of making you and your family comfortable.Recovery rooms have beautiful views. There’s a couch that is flat for sleeping, a reclining chair, an armoire, lots of space and a large bathroom. The room service (patients only) has delicious selections. There’s 2 restaurants and a Starbucks. The wellness center has treatments for patients and family at a great rate. There’s a library and a center for any and all questions you may have regarding your treatment, options, payments planes, services...Outdoor walking and eating areas. And covered parking. There’s a reason this cancer hospital is rated so high.

Huntsman Hospital is simply the best medical facility I have experienced. The staff is excellent. They are skilled and always pleasant. A special thanks to Dr. David Wada and Marianne Bohling, APRN. They are extremely capable and its my good fortune and pleasure to see them.7/22/2020I went to the Huntsman Hospital today for removal of a skin cancer.I was treated with excellent care. A special thanks to Marianne Bohling and Andrew Lamb who are not only extremely competent, but make the experience pleasant.

This review is directed at the scheduling system at The Huntsman. My blood count was low at my May physical and I was referred to Huntsman. I had to wait nearly 6 weeks for that initial consult. It turns out I have terminal cancer and now everyone is in a blind panic to try and extend my life as long as possible. Forgetting that we lost 6 weeks waiting for that initial appointment.I am now told to rest and make the most of the time that I have left...yet The Huntsman scheduling department refuse to allow this due to their inconsiderate scheduling. They know I am dependent on transport and live 45 miles away from the facility. They also know I cannot make early morning appointments, yet they repeatedly give me the 8.40am, which they assured me wouldnt happen again and yet it has on two more occasions.Quite often I only find about some appointments by visiting My Chart, Ive missed a few because nobody bothered to notify me.Their totally inconsiderate scheduling/appointment system results in my travelling backwards and forwards continually and it is killing me faster than the cancer. Due to this I am either forced into palliative care or to seek ongoing treatment/care elsewhere. They need to remember that it doesnt make any difference how much they spent on polished wood and marble, or how good the doctors are. Without an effective scheduling system it renders everything else worthless.

Here with a friend in the clinic and theyre incredibly sick and the guys treating him are being dismissive about his fears and worries and not at all trying to be comforting. Theyve also cracked jokes about buying his mask. Very rude and unprofessional and if there was a better place he said he wouldnt come back to this one again. This is a place that is supposed to care for people who can die from an illness because of the treatments they undergo and they dont seem to care.

We drove from Idaho to this specialty clinic. It is surpassed by none. 10 years ago Pocatello Cancer Hospital gave my friend less than 6 months to live. They offered no treatment due to his age (62). I got him into Huntsman the next week. They told him they didnt see an expiration date on his foot. They gave him 7 wonderfully active, happy years. He saw children graduate and met grandbaby. He fished, hunted and camped. Only the last 30 days of his life was it apparent he was ill. They took such good care of him physically, mentally and yes ~ their positive attitudes ~ touched him spiritually. I have sent many friends to them since Sonny. They still have the best working there. Everyone there ~ right to the guy that Cooks in one of their cafeterias ~ You Folks are the miracle workers. Thank You !

My sister-in-law had a procedure there. I drive a Ford Transit van that requires 8 ft 6 in of clearance. The valet told me he couldnt park it but I could in their garage. The garage is 8 ft. He finally agreed to park it but said I should ask inside what the policy was. Very poor service in my opinion
