I had an amazing experience and results with Dr. Goodwin. I am 4 weeks out of top surgery and I think he is a wonderful surgeon — on the table and in the office. He gave me all the information I needed to feel prepared and he was able to answer my specific questions. He was engaging and personable in the office and precise and professional on the day of surgery.

In late June, Dr Goodwin agreed to a referral from a plastic surgeon in our hometown of Grand Junction, CO to take on closing and follow-up care of an open wound on my wifes elbow over a plate that had been installed to repair a compound fracture suffered on March 25. Dr Goodwin scheduled an initial consultation on Friday, June 25 and over the weekend organized a plan following X-ray and CAT scan image acquisition including input from an orthopedic surgeon to operate on June 29 at UU Hospital to evaluate a final course of action on the fly. The surgical team removed a plate from the elbow and closed the wound. After two more days in the hospital, my wife was released and has enjoyed a full recovery monitored through three post-op appointments. Dr Goodwin demonstrated the highest level of care and concern in all interactions with my wife and she was thrilled with the way her condition was handled. We recommend care from Dr Goodwin in his areas of expertise without reservation.

I had bilateral mastectomy in July of this year with Dr. Goodwin. He and his team has been so wonderful to me throughout the entire process. He has amazing bedside manner, hes compassionate, and his PAs are knowledgeable and also very caring. I highly recommend him to any transmasc patients seeking top surgery.

Iam a 63 year old woman. I had breast reduction surgery in February. I am beyond thrilled with my results. The surgery was nothing like I had read on you tube. 4 hrs total, but, I had 1000 grams taken off of each breast. Very little pain. I took pain medication for 3 days and then used,Tylenol and Ibuprofen intermittently. It’s all about finding a professional, caring experienced surgeon. Dr. Goodwin is all of the above. Five stars all the way. Wished I had done it 20 years ago. Highly recommend!

Dr. Goodwin did my top surgery about a month ago, and I am so pleased with the results!! Both Masha and Dr. Goodwin were super friendly, straightforward, and easy to talk to. Dr. Isak Goodwin is a very good surgeon. He is up front and to the point. He answered my questions. What I really liked was right before my surgery he told me Lets get you healed. To me that meant a lot.I would go back to him.

Dr Goodwin performed surgery on my mother after having a tumor removed. He was very informative and up front every step of the way. He was patient, pleasant and easy to understand. He was upfront and did not sugar coat anything. His bedside manner was superb. He was easy to talk to. His PA in the Farmington office was excellent as well. We actually enjoyed our visits to the clinic. Beyond all of that his work was superb. He is a consummate professional and my mom and I would give him a 50 star review if that was an option!

This surgeon is amazing at what he does! He seriously wants the patient to be happy and communicates how he feels is the best way to get the results you are wanting. Will not go to another surgeon, period.

The day of surgery Dr. Goodwin came in and did very precise measurements. Explained exactly how surgery was going to go. I knew exactly what I needed to do post surgery. I am so happy and glad I made the decision to see him.

What a generous man.Our daughter was lucky enough to have Dr. Goodwin on her team after we were life flighted from Idaho due to an ATV accident. HE HELPED SAVE HER from amputation! He is so extremely talented. In my eyes he truly is a highly educated artist. He took muscle and skin from my daughters back and positioned it in her ankle region. He has been so compassionate when dealing with her, she is a teen and not the easiest. His bedside manner is what youd expect from a great Dr. Hes always been so helpful when educating us about procedures, hes easy to talk to and isnt stuffy. His office staff has always been kind. If you need a stellar plastic surgeon, Dr. Goodwin is your guy. He is forever our hero.

I underwent surgery on Oct 1st and had my 3 week post op visit today. I found it hard to fight back the tears of joy! He is the best surgeon in Utah. His staff are extremely helpful and professional. He truly cares about his patients and the outcome. My outcome was far more than I expected and I highly recommend him to anyone having elective or medically necessary surgery. Dr Goodwin is an excellent surgeon, he did reconstruction surgery on my ankles using skin and muscle from my legs and back. He saved my feet and I can now walk independently. I am very happy and thankful for his excellent knowledge, expertise and care.

I do not have enough great things to say about Dr. Goodwin. I came to him with a horrible infection and a nasty wound. He not only spent the time to explain the procedures needed, but he was sure to ease any fear. He made the process move as smoothly as possible. This man is the most extraordinary medical professional I have ever met! He recently did a complex, vascular procedure on my son. During our stay in ICU, he was pleasingly frequent in checking in on us. He explained everything to us thoroughly, and in a manner that we could understand. He comforted this stressed out Mom when he could see me struggling and his bedside manner is completely amazing! We are beyond blessed to have him as the captain of my sons team! Dr. Goodwin and his team are beyond amazing! From our initial consultation, to surgery, then aftercare he’s been wonderful throughout. Not only does he take excellent care of my son, his patient, he also took great care of us worried parents! Always keeping us updated and made sure we understood everything that was going on. My kid had a double mastectomy with nipple graph, and he couldn’t be happier with the results thus far!Dr. Goodwin and staff are doing very important work and we are blessed to have him as part of our medical team. Thus far , this has been my experience. Lack of exam room professionalism and protocols. Lack of communication. Does not appear to desire or welcome proper discussion regarding health concerns prior to a surgery. Second hand information from staff further supports overall lack of real regard for patients.Never an impression that safety or patient communication a priority.
