Dr. Hansen did a wonderful job with Mohs surgery on my upper lip. I was concerned about residual scarring, but the scar is barely detectable. Dr. Hansen is amazingly kind and interested in his patients.

AMAZING and GIFTED Mohs surgeon! I met Dr. Hansen after 7 years of dealing with what was ultimately diagnosed as basal cell carcinoma on the tip of my nose. To say that I was anxious and frustrated after years of misdiagnoses and botched attempts to fix *other* attempts, is an enormous understatement. By the time I had my first consult with Dr. Hansen I lacked ANY trust in the field of dermatology and felt completely betrayed by the multiple medical professionals who sent me down the incorrect path without first ordering a biopsy. I put Dr. Hansen and his entire staff through the ringer with a ridiculous amount of questions and concerns and Im POSITIVE I presented myself as the most difficult potential patient he had ever worked with. Long story short, within 3 minutes of meeting Dr. Hansen, I KNEW I could trust him not only to remove the cancer but to do the repair (in lieu of having a plastic surgeon repair the surgical site). The complete procedure took place in his office. I was comfortable the entire time and even laughed with him and his nurse during surgery. I would NEVER wish for skin cancer but in my case, the result I got after Mohs surgery from Dr. Hansen vs. the other surgeries I had when I didnt know cancer was present, felt like a miracle! My result is amazing! There are few physicians that not only have the medical and surgical skills to enhance (and save) lives but also have the gift of intuitively knowing how to treat each of their patients. As mentioned earlier, I will never wish for skin cancer...but if it recurs...I know who I will go to! THANK YOU Dr. Hansen for not only getting rid of my skin cancer but IMPROVING the appearance of my nose as well as restoring my trust in the field of dermatology!

Dr Hansen removed a BAPoma from the tip of my nose. I was very concerned about the scarring, since it was on the most visible part of my face- the tip of my nose. He answered all my (many) questions, and was very good about managing my expectations. He was focused first on removing all of the growth, and ensuring my health. His second priority was the cosmetic aspect. I am two weeks out from the surgery, and it looks better than I had hoped! The outcome was so much better than I had hoped for.
