I appreciate the professional and personable care provided. When care decisions were needed, I was immediately given plentiful and pertinent information that made the choice quite clear to me. The Hygenist was very skilled and thorough, while still gentle. I believe this is a long established practice, yet very up to date in equipment and procedures.

This staff is the friendliest and most helpful dental staff I have ever been to. They are careful; fixed poor quality work from a previous dentist. They are honest; I went from having procedures done ALL the time at a previous dentist to rarely having work done when I visit Van Leeuwen. Everyones very friendly at this office. I scheduled an appointment because I havent been into the dentist in about 4 years and I had a tooth that was bothering me. I figured that it was time to go and face the music.The team of hygienists were super nice and very thorough. I dont remember ever having an exam as thorough as the one I did while I was here.They were using terms to each other that I didnt understand but, they were really good at explaining to me what was going on. I felt completely comfortable in their hands.Dr Van Leeuwen came in, was super nice and very easy to talk with. He went over the findings which wasnt surprising. I was concerned that it would be something more major. It just turned out that previous work from a long time ago was starting to have some issues and they needed to be addressed, along with some minor new needs.I had a really good experience overall with Dr. Van Leeuwan and his staff. He did a great job of explaining to me what he felt it was that I needed and how hed go about repairs. What he said, made sense. So, I got my next appointments scheduled.I am definitely not one to return to somewhere, even if I was referred by a good friend. I am confident that they will continue to do a good job for me and, will provide great service and great quality of care to anyone else coming through their doors.

Dr Adam is very careful, polite and does an excellent job. I have been going to him for over 2 years now and I have always been treated with the best standard of care. He even fixed some earlier mistakes made by my previous dentists and orthodontists. I am also very happy with Lindsey for her great attention to detail and excellent care as my dental hygienist! After being somewhat disappointed in my current dentist, I was referred to Dr Van Leeuwen DDS. First I had my teeth cleaned by a very professional young lady. She did so much more than anyone else has ever done while cleaning my teeth. I have an upper denture that has never fit right. I thought I would need to go to someone else for adjustment to it but Dr Van Leeuwen had all the knowledge and equipment for repairs I was very impressed with their service.

This is an incredible dental office. My son needed to get a deep cleaning done to progress with his ortho plan and they were so accommodating to help get it done in a timely way knowing that my son was so eager to get his braces off ASAP! 😄. They always go above and beyond in their dental care and customer service!

Van Leeuwen Dental has been a great experience for our whole family. The office staff are friendly, organized and kind. Both dentists are great and really know what they are doing. I never feel like they are trying to sell me anything. I always feel like they are being honest and want to find ways to make it affordable for my family to get their dental care. If you have to get a cavity filled and get a shot, they are the soo careful and good at it, and supremely good at making sure your fillings and sealants feel right before you leave- best experience I have had this far at a dentist. Recently I had Dr. Adam Van Leeuwen examine couple of teeth that had been damaged. I hate I mean really hate going to the dentist. I take prescription medication for my disability and started having major pain in my jaw. Well because of the medications I now have periodontal disease. I am very grateful that I found this amazing clinic. I don’t feel like they treat me as a patient but as a friend. They made sure during my treatments I felt as little pain as possible which isn’t easy considering I have been taking pain medication for over 6 years now. Get this, you won’t believe what they did for me. Lindsay came in on her day off to make sure I was taking care of with my 3rd treatment. That just doesn’t happen. What an amazing staff. Top to bottom, front to back, this practice is the best. From check in, Covid-19 protocol, assistants, hygienists and dentists, it is a well oiled machine. I don’t recall ever being treated so professionally in an authentic way. Nice people who I enjoy visiting with but they strike a perfect balance with getting down to business. Their treatment plan is not a sales deal, but they explain and collaborate. Dental work has been thorough and they are patient to make sure I am satisfied. The staff communicates so well that no issue has fallen through the cracks. They all work together in such a way that I can feel the team approach. I have been going to Dr Mike for years, as well as all my family, and have always been very satisfied with his work. Now his son, Adam, does a lot of my dental work. I was there for my semi-annual cleaning and checkup. Have been a loyal customer for 121 years! I always receive excellent and caring service. Lindsey cleaned my teeth and is an expert at her craft. Great conversationist as well. They consider every detail. I mentioned to her that one of my front teeth was hitting just slightly two of my lower teeth when I bite together. She noted that and later in the visit had Dr. Adam take a look and fix it in no time. I have referred a number of people to the Van Leeuwen’s over the years. Recently, my daughter and her family moved to Salt Lake from a Richmond, VA. I came to Van Leeuwenhoek after a poor cleaning service from my previous dental clinic. Here, all staff took Covid -19 procedures seriously, and I find it highly commendable in light of Utah’s increasing cases. Temperature was taken and having the mask on was respected and observed during all communications. Cleaning was very thorough and fully guided by the very professional hygienist Kendal(I may have gotten the name wrong). All stains were gone despite my poor lapse for a 1.5 year of avoiding dentist appointments . I would highly recommend cleaning services here and they will be seeing me again in 6 months!

I wanted to take a minute to write this review and recognize the doctors and staff at Van Leeuwen dental. After being long time residents in Sandy Utah and patients of Van Leeuwen dental, our family was relocated clear across the country to Manassas Virginia just outside of D.C. in late January of 2020. Due to the move and Covid we haven’t had the opportunity to find a new dentist. Our teenage daughter flew back to SLC for a few weeks over the summer to visit her father and while there developed tooth pain and trouble with her permanent retainer. I reached out to Danielle and her staff and they got my daughter in immediately. They gave her a cleaning, took xrays that they sent home to Virginia with her and even offered to do the treatments for her while she was there for such a short time. This team of professionals went above and beyond for clients they were no longer serving and didn’t have to accommodate. I can’t tell you what this relationship means to us. We were treated like friends and family. Thank you Van Leeuwen Dental!

This experience was top notch. When I walked in, I was greeted by two very kind ladies. They got me back to see the tech super quickly. My tech was super sweet and immediately made me feel so comfortable. The hygienist was amazing. She took the time to explain everything she was doing and was incredibly informative. The dentist was kind and not pushy at all. He talked me through some of my options for caring for my jaw clenching and teeth issues but left it in my court to decide what worked best for me. Ill definitely be back to work on my dental concerns and for my regular cleanings!

Dr.Adam & Dr.Michael have been THE best dentists for our entire family. We had gone to a pediatric dentist before but needed some second opinions and found that Dr.Adam had a way better and more personalized approach for our child’s care. My first visit here. The staff was friendly. However i got the overwhelming impression that they were more interested in trying to upsell me, make miney and get more appointments on the books them taking care of a patient. Seriously reconsidering returning. Not a great first impression.

Im a tremendous fan of this dental office! It is really nice to have moved here into the area and have a great team/office just up the street who genuinely care about your dental hygiene. They are always on-time (so far in my experience) with keeping to appointment times and transparent with what would be covered vs. not covered by insurance.As for the team, today, I had Lindsay as my dental hygienist and she was just a delight. :) She made me feel at ease and was explaining things throughout the cleaning process. I had a question about my sensitivities and she demonstrated her knowledge by explaining that the sensitivities were actually due to some areas where my gum had receded (and not my tooth). She then offered all sorts of options for how to address the sensitivities depending on how bad it is so I knew fully what choices were available to me to make an informed decision.Lastly, I most appreciated that she was thoughtful of my sensitivities (because we all know how those can be!) to be sure that I am not walking away from a bad experience. I can actually say, I look forward to my next appointment in 6 months!

Great dentist office. Had a crown come off while flossing and they got me in next day and Dr Mike cemented it back on in no time. Now I’m good as new! (Well at least that tooth is)

Very nice staff, Dr. Adam Van Leeuwen is VERY good at what he does! I had 3 cavities re-filled and it was painless and smooth. Adam is the best dentist I’ve ever had. I don’t think people normally say that. Typically the dentist isn’t something we rave about? But, Adam? The man. 100%. I have been to this same dentist my entire life. I remember my mom taking me there as a little kid and the dental assistants making it a fun and pleasant experience for me. A lot of the hygienists have been there for years and it shows how much they care about the patients and their profession. Other people complain about going to the dentist and while it’s still not ideal for me, it’s nice to have a dentist that makes their patients feel comfortable and works hard to make the experience as pleasant as possible.

Just had my first visit at Van Leeuwen Dental in Cottonwood Heights. Jeanine gave a comprehensive cleaning and Dr. Michael gave a complete checkup. It was an enjoyable experience, and I highly recommend them.

Just had my first appointment with them and it was great! Their staff is wonderful, Lena cleaned my teeth and she made me feel super comfortable as not scared to see the dentist as I usually am! Great dentist and theyre all very kind and answer any questions I bring to them!

Absolutely the best dentist I have ever been to. Dr. Adam TRULY cares about his patients and wants to give them the best care. I had a difficult decision on what to do, he took the time to review all of the xrays a second time with me and gave me the pros and cons on each procedure to make sure that the decision was the right for me. What an incredible service. Dr. Adam is the absolute BEST.

Great father and son dentist (definitely don’t feel like a number like those corporate dentists)!Dr Adam is so personable and professional! He is wonderful with my kids and provides kind, quality, nurturing care. Despite numerous pulled teeth and cavities filled, my kids still love the dentist.Very trustworthy dentists, personable office staff and fair pricing.So happy I found this practice when I moved to SLC. Awesome place! The waiting room has a massage chair! Plus you can watch TV while they clean your teeth! Very cool.All of the employees were very nice. When I called they were booked about a month out but they put me on a waiting list, called me back the same day and I was able to get in the next day!The building is nice and clean. The doctor and the assistants were all very informative and asked me several times if I had any questions.Im excited to go back! :)

Ive never had a bad dental experience since I switched to Van Leeuwen Dental. The office staff is friendly and helpful. I appreciate how quickly they get back to me with any questions I may have, from dental issues to insurance questions. The massage chairs make my bi-annual cleaning visits something I now look forward to. Dr. Adam Van Leeuwens work is exceptional and I value and trust his expertise. My teeth have never looked or felt better. I even upgraded my dental insurance plan to be able to take full advantage of all that their practice offers. I will never go anywhere else.

I have been going to Van Leeuwen Dental for a few years now and I have never been treated as good at a dentists office as I have there. Dr. Adam does amazing work. Every filling or crown I have done is done to perfection and I feel confident when I smile. The whole staff is amazing and they are so kind and friendly and make going to the dentist actually fun. I highly recommend Van Leeuwen Dental.

Lindsay the Hygienist is excellent! Dr. Michael was excellent as well, but Lindsay spent so much time with me and did most of the work, and her work was the best dental hygiene work Ive ever received!

My daughter had her wisdom teeth removed. They did an exceptional job! We felt like we were in very good hands from start to finish.

I came to this clinic 6 years ago. My teeth were yellow and i was afraid to smile. Now i got beautiful crowns and implant, my teeth look white and i want to smile every day of my life. This dental office is the best i have ever experienced in my life, they treat you like you are a part of the family. I always have positive emotions after each visit. I recommend it to my friends and everybody!!! Amazing!!!
