I was recommended to Dr Skeen but was told she didn’t work at this office very often so I first saw Dr Nelson for a gum graft consultation. It was a horrible impersonal experience. He made me feel like I was wasting his time asking questions and that I was lucky to see him. I requested a different doctor for a follow up and saw Dr Knight. He had the same manner and I should have gone elsewhere but I just wanted to get it done. I should have gone with my instinct. The work was terrible. I knew something was wrong and when I tried to get in touch with the doctor I was told it would get better and not to worry. Three days later the bleeding had not let up. I went to a different periodontist and he informed me that the work done was “a mess”. He repaired what should have been a simple procedure.

The dentist and the dental assistant who helped me were very nice. However, the treatment/ scheduling coordinator who helped me when I visited was rude and unprofessional. The dentist and detal assistant told me to schedule the surgery time with the treatment coordinator and she would tell me what I do. Before and after I visited the place, I have informed her at 4 times about my dental insurance information, but she failed to get my insurance and I had to tell her the same information I informed all over again. She also did not really want to tell me what I should be careful about the surgery and if the place provide anesthesia. When I asked her will the dentist give me anesthesia, she said since you did not request one, we wont give it to you. Excuse me?! I just asked you about it, and the dentist didnt tell me about it either. How did I request one if no one told me the option? Also, I was jsut asking you about it. It was even more ridiculous that I had to repeat many times that I did not know about the anesthesia options and the dentist did not tell me about it. She clearly had a chart in her office, and why wouldnt she just move on to tell me about it after I told her that the dentist did not tell me about anesthesia?!During the meeting with her in person, she also acted like I can not afford the surgery. I was like excuse me, why would you assume I dont have the money? If I dont have the money, I will not book the appointment with the dentist there.What really pised me off was another time I had phone call with maybe another or the same scheduling coordinator. As soon as my fiance got on the phone, her attitude suddenly changed 100%.I really hope the customer service can be better provided by their scheduling coordinator or treatment coordinator. I am not sure the name of the person I met after the dentist visit. I should have grabbed her name because she was probably one of the worst coordinator I have ever met. Hopefully, the customer service can be better next time.

These Periodontists give excellent care. The office staff is welcoming and friendly. They are great!

Today I had my second gum graft. Dr. Christian Nielsen is such an amazing periodontist. Both times has been such a wonderful experience. Amy his dental hygienist is so sweet. I had such a wonderful experience and I highly recommend them!

Dr. Skene is wonderful! I send most of my patients to her that need special help with their gums. She even did a minor gum surgery for me that was super quick, painless, and worked wonderfully! (I had a small lump right near my front teeth thatd been there since I was a kid. I trusted her to take care of it, and she did a great job!) You wont regret meeting her and her team, shes incredibly nice and friendly!

Dr. Skene is amazing. I have had nothing but great experiences at her office from the staff to the detailed mapped out process that she has set up for me when it comes to getting my smile back. Her prices are reasonable and you really feel welcome there.

We cant say enough great things about Dr. Skene! She is wonderful! We send many patients to her to help with severe gum disease or gum surgery. She is so friendly and incredibly intelligent. If you are in the area, definitely go see her for gum disease and keeping your mouth healthy! Her and her team are awesome!

Dr. Skene is amazing! She is so kind! She does amazing work and she cares about her patients. She will answer any questions to help you feel more comfortable for your surgery. I would recommend Dr. Skene to anyone! She really is the best!!!!

I had a really difficult situation with a tooth that had been infected, pulled and replaced with an implant by my dentist. Unfortunately over the next few weeks it did not heal and the infection grew worse and worse. Dr. Skene saw me right away and the same week helped me with the implant gone bad. Her excellent communication skills and technical abilities coupled with her generosity and attention to follow through has put me back on the path to health again. I will definitely recommend her to anyone who needs a specialist!

Dr.Nielsen was so kind and gentle during my implant surgery, I get so nervous and he took great care. I would recommend him to everyone I know.

1 week after the surgery and already seeing a great improvement in visual aesthetics of the now-fixed receding gumline.
