Dr. Nelson explained everything during the entire visit, and even took time at the end to let me ask questions about how to protect my vision, since I work with computers all day. I’ve never had a doctor with such clear communication. I am so happy with my new contact lenses.

We recently switch to Wasatch Vision Clinic and were really pleased with our experience there. The staff are so welcoming and friendly. Our appointments were on time and thorough. Dr. Bateman was wonderful with my seven year-old daughter. He is just tremendously friendly and relaxed. Our glasses came back in record time and are PERFECT! Thanks again. Highly, highly recommend.

I have been coming to this clinic for several years, and I have been extremely happy with the care Ive received! Both Dr. Nelson and Dr. Bateman are excellent to work with; they and their staff are always friendly, helpful, and efficient.

5 Stars, for sure! I enjoyed the friendly staff at the front desk, and I especially appreciated how quickly they got me in and out! (I wasn’t in a hurry, and I would still give 5 stars if it had taken longer)But anyways, while I was checking in, the insurance website was down, creating delays for the clinic, but they were so kind and helpful. And get this— my new glasses were ready to be picked up just a few hours later, on the same day! 2 pairs even! (I had to get 2 pairs because I always lose them or sit on them).. but anyways, when I got the text saying that my new glasses were ready, it was so fast and I could hardly believe my eyes!But I can believe my eyes now because they made new glasses for me.My experience with Wasatch Vision was great.

I cannot say enough good thinks about this practice. Everyone is great including the front desk staff to Dr. Nelson and Dr. Bateman. They have mailed me contacts. They have done a few contacts visits with me. They also referred me to Hoopes vision for lasik which I love!!

Dr. Nelson was extremely courteous and thorough in explaining the more technical aspects of my exam. The women at the front desk were cheerful and very helpful, and there was a wide array of frames to choose from. I am very glad I chose to come to Wasatch Vision Clinic, and I will definitely be back next year!

We like this place. My wife and I both get our annually check up there. The people are friendly. Dr. Bateman is excellent. He certainly knows his drill. They have a very nice machine to test prescription.

Best eye doctors I ever experienced. They squeezed me in on short notice, I had an irritation due to some debris that got stuck in one eye . Friendly and accommodating staff, thorough exams, excellent explanation of procedures and remedies. Highly recommended!

I went in today as a new customer. The receptionist was lovely and acknowledged me right away and answered all my silly questions with a smile. I had only waited about 5-7 minutes until the (also very friendly) assistant brought me back to my exam room. After a few tests with her, Dr. Jared Nelson came in and introduced himself, hand out ready for a shake. I am tall so it took a moment to get the equipment adjusted, but, he was so accommodating and ensured I felt comfortable. He was very thorough with his exam and tripled checked his work to be certain I was in the right proscription which included giving me a pair of contacts to take home with me! He was very pleasant and knowledgeable. He gave me a whole break down of how the eye works and the anatomy. When I went to leave and pay, they gave me a free bottle of glasses cleaning solution and told me they would refill that for free when it was empty!! I highly recommend you request Dr. Nelson, hes so professional and made me feel so comfortable. Thank you so much! I cant wait to return.

Excellent place with great people. The eye exam administered by Dr Bateman was very thorough and he was very patient with my questions. The office staff were highly professional and everything went smoothly. My glasses were made much faster than I anticipated. I will not hesitate to come back here again for my next exam.

Great place and Dr. Nelson is absolutely fantastic. Ill admit, I was a bit skeptical on first impression - The old, worn carpet and some of the outdated equipment threw me off a bit. However, their staff and Dr. Nelson made up for it completely. They were patient and thorough. Dr. Nelson answered all my questions, ensuring that I understood exactly what he was describing, even showing me a model of the eye and pulling up images to further explain. I am confident my contact and glasses prescriptions are correct and am grateful to have found this place.

Everyone here is fantastic! I have a very strong prescription and they have been so careful and thorough in getting me the right contacts and glasses. Dr Bateman is the best. He is thoughtful and thorough. I recommend this clinic to everyone I can!!

Really subpar customer service. I bought a $900 pair of glasses from Wasatch that lost a plastic nose pad. I went in today to get a replacement, and the person helping me said, she didnt have any replacements, didnt know where to get replacements, sorry. Thats it. No offer to call the manufacturer, elevate the issue to someone more experienced, nothing. Fortunately, it appears I can buy replacements on Amazon.

This place is very unprofessional. When I was here I waited for a very long time to be seen. Had to have testing done on me twice with their too old machines and equipment. By the time it was my turn they definitely were in hurry I’m concerned about the accuracy of my prescription. After my appointment I went to pay and see about getting glasses and the young girl with long dark hair held her finger up to me until she finished something which is very rude. The older lady helped me finish up though and by that time I was ready to just get out of this dark place. I’ll be getting my glasses done elsewhere since I overheard some issues with someone else’s glasses and needless to say I will go elsewhere for that. I’ve been to much nicer facilities and paid less or the same. And I suggest you go somewhere else too! And as a previous reviewer left before, I didn’t see them clean anything either.

Have been a long time patient of Dr. Bateman. He has always been friendly, respectful and prompt. My children now see him as well and have had a fantastic experience. He was able to diagnose a challenging vision problem for one of them and give us a treatment plan. They also have a large selection of glasses to choose from. Highly recommend.

Very unhelpful staff. I have a high prescription and wear contacts exclusively but wanted a pair of glasses for emergencies. I was referred here because I was told that the staff could get an idea of how thick the lenses would be to determine the best frames. In addition to lenses (no frames) being nearly $500 without insurance, they couldn’t estimate a size and said they couldn’t help with frames until the lenses came in. At that price, anyone would want to know what they’re getting. ...And the next shop was able to give me an idea of how thick the lenses would be, proposed a “roll and polish” to thin the edges and sold me frames and lenses for $320.

Edit: Lowered it to a 2 because they didnt write down my insurance information and had to call me for it. Ffs.The doctor and optician are the only nice things about this place. He worked hard to find just the right prescription and went the extra mile. The receptionist, however, didnt acknowledge my existence for several minutes. Some of the equipment is dirty, probably because only one piece of equipment was sanitized after I used it. I shudder to think whats on the stick you use to cover your eye. They didnt give me a copy of my prescription until I specifically asked for it. The doctors great, but I wont be going back.

I am so glad I went with this hometown business. Coreen was so helpful and could have sold me on different features but was very honest and even though some options would have cost me more money she discouraged them. Since I had never bought glasses before I would not have known the difference

They have done a great job for me. Every time I’ve needed to repair my glasses it’s been quick with no issues.

Ive been going to Dr Bateman for my daughters eyesight needs for over a year now since we moved up to this area and I must say he is by far the best that Ive ever dealt with. He makes sure to do everything accuratley, he makes sure all her needs are met. Her glasses are great quality with a perfect prescription. We feel 100% comfortable with him. Im very glad my friend referred him to me.

Dr. Cutler and Dr. Bateman are both amazing and have always been so nice and professional and met my needs. The staff at the front desk is always pleasant and helpful too. I had been going there for 14 years and moved out of state, Im struggling to find another vision clinic I feel as comfortable in!

Dr. Bateman is so thorough, patient and kind. He helped me to find the right contact lenses for my aging eyes. Ive been seeing him for a few years now and we just tweak my lenses when necessary as my eyes change. He really cares about me as a patient and I really trust and appreciate him. I highly recommend Wasatch Vision Clinic. I have seen Dr. Bateman for general eye care/contacts in the past and he did a great job. This week I had an eye emergency and a tight schedule. Dr. Bateman fit me in immediately and my eyes felt 1000x better by the evening. He went above and beyond in a time of need. Go here, your eyes will thank you.

Excellent customer service with fair price.

My appointment was a year ago, but after going elsewhere, I see that this place was not great. The eye doctor felt more like a sells man than a doctor. The receptionists were not very friendly and I got the feeling that they didnt want to help us. They eye doctor also gave me a prescription that was too strong.This was my husbands first eye appointment ever and they told him he needed glasses. After going to a different eye doctor, he was told that they are not necessary. I went once and will never go back.

Happy with the eye care of Dr. Bateman, but need improvement on the staff side of things. Spent a half hour on the phone trying to order contacts - spent considerable time on hold, answering the same questions over again, just to have the woman tell me she would call me back later without the contacts getting ordered. The woman called me back, asked the same questions again as to what I wanted, how long of a supply, and then questioned why I wanted this when thats not what I ordered in the past, asked me how I wear the lenses - etc etc. It really doesnt matter, does it? All Im asking for is for her to order the lenses I need. She again told me she would call me back with a total amount but I never got a second return call. As a working person, this is annoying and a hassle and ordering contacts when Ive been coming to this officer for years and they have all my information should not be this challenging.To update, I have never had this experience before, and Dr. Bateman personally called me to correct the issue, which I very much appreciate. And as I mentioned in the beginning, I am happy with the eye care from this clinic, which is the most important part!

My experience here has been excellent over the past 3 years. Whenever Ive made an appointment theyre always right on time and very quick. Ive always had Dr. Camron J. Bateman who I love because he works with you to find the best solution. He even took me outside with a few lenses to practice seeing far and in the light which was great for helping me pick. I recommend this place to everyone.

Dr. Bateman was very kind and took the time to explain the science behind my nearsightedness to me. Super cool! The ladies at the front desk were very friendly and helped me pick out new frames.

Very friendly and kind staff. When I went in for my appointment, the office staff were so happy and helpful. I had been to a different OD before moving, so I was worried about trying a new place. Dr. Bateman was able to get me the correct prescription (my old one was pretty off I found out). He also expressed genuine concern for my comfort in the lenses and when I wanted to try a different brand he hooked it up. I ordered glasses there as well and they were ready within a few days.Later I had an emergency on the weekend and needed new contacts. The doctor met me at the office (8 pm on a saturday) to get me set up with a new pair and I was able to pick up the glasses I had ordered at the same time.Highly recommend.

An eerie space. Rude front office shooing away patients of an impatient doctor. Avoid if possible. Try Costco or Target vision centers instead.

The doctor took the time to answer all my many questions and was very knowledgeable and helpful and upfront about any costs.
