This place is absolutely awesome! The staff was very nice and helpful they took very good care of us and answered all of our questions. They have really good selection of mens women and childrens eyeglasses.

Good selection and staff. The quality of the prescription lenses are not good. After one year my glasses are so scratched I can’t wear anymore.I have glasses that are ten years old and the lenses look almost new. Lesson learned, you get what you pay for.

Well, if you are looking for shades that are sports frames and same day service, Eyeglass world is not the place to go. Nothing but a bunch of false promises and lies. Dont waste your time with this place. And if the owner is reading this, dont bother with the copy and paste response, there is nothing that can be done to fix this problem

I thought this place was too good to be true, as I was able to buy 4 pairs of glasses for the price of 2 at my regular place, and take them home same day!However, months after the fact I am starting to see why. The frames are VERY cheaply made, and I have already had 2 of the pairs fall apart on me (I keep them in their case, as I have with my others that have lasted me years.) So make sure you fully insure every pair.Also I was apparently wrongly informed about how much my insurance would cover, because after apparently paying in full up front, months later I’ve received another bill!

Absolutely pleased with my experience at Eyeglass World in Murray, Utah. I went in to get my first pair of glasses in my life and they had so many glasses to choose from. I knew that if I saw the one I would know it. As it turns out, I found two that were the one. I had Ari help me and she was so good! It turns out that using their sale BOGO was a better deal than my insurance. And then the manager Stephanie was so helpful in getting me the best deal possible! I would absolutely recommend this store!!!!

DO NOT GIVE THIS STORE YOUR BUSINESSI have never been treated worse as a customer looking to spend up to a thousand dollars on products. I let this place give me an eye exam which was fine. But trying to get glasses from them is a joke unless you can spend hours there waiting for them to actually help you or care about you as a customer. I took my lunch break from work two different days and the first day they just handed me a ben and said to try on glasses. I found some I liked and 45 minutes later I was still standing there waiting for help. Then I went back the next day and ONLY 1 customer was in the store and there was 4 other workers there and just me. They again handed me a ben and I picked out the same glasses and AGAIN 40 minutes later they sit me down and then WILL NOT give me the pricing with insurance unless I wanted to wait another 20 minutes for them just to run my insurance. THIS PLACE IS A JOKE. DO NOT COME HERE UNLESS YOU CAN SPEND SURPLUS HOURS WAITING FOR THEM TO DO THEIR JOBS....

I had a great experience here. They were quick, helpful and friendly. Just be prepared, its $78 for the frames and thick plastic. If you want the better lenses it costs at least $100 more. So its more like $178 for 2 pair which is still a good deal to me.Edit: Also Bryce was very helpful through out the entire process. Christopher did a great job fitting my glasses for me when I picked up my glasses. And Dr. Baker was very fast and efficient.

If you need an eye exam, glass or contacts this is the place for you!! Since the first visit everyone has been every welcoming. On this visit I was buying glasses and Alyssa was truly outstanding, she was very patient with me and went over everything that they could offer me. Alyssa took the time to make sure that I was getting the most for my money and made sure I was happy! She was even able to have my glasses gone within the hour, huge shout out to Alyssa I will be back for sure because of her!

I am legally blind, fully in one eye, & the other is very limited. Last year I went in after never being able to wear a contact due to such a high prescription in the eye I gave vision from. They took way more time than was necessary, & I left with a contact. Went back in today and once again was taken care of better than any specialist I’ve been to has taken care of me.My quality of life has been drastically improved because of one eye doctor taking extra time out of his day.

Dr Baker is amazing, I used the university Moran eye center last time and it took nearly 2 hours and this time it took 40 minutes from walk in to walk out. With more explanation and a better prescription. better price too and they got me in the next day.

I purchased two pairs of glasses for my teenage daughter 3 weeks ago. Clara explained her prescription to us and went over the Drs recommendations. We ended up ordering the thinnest lenses, because her prescription is strong, transition lenses and anti reflective coating in a Ray Ban frame. My daughter got a second pair of Ray Ban frames in a sunglasse pair with mirror coating. I could have purchased the 2 for $78 frames with lenses, but she wanted the $200 Ray Ban frames. I was impressed with the frame selection, happy, helpful staff and their knowledge. Thank you for helping my daughter to be confident and look cute in her dream glasses.

I bought two pairs of glasses a year ago. After only 10 months of having them, the arm on one of them snapped off! I’m 22, I’ve worn glasses nearly my entire life, and have never had glasses just break on me like this. I decided to wear the spares I got the same day until I could just buy a new pair Somewhere Else and the spares broke on me not even a week later. If I were doing something to cause this I’d understand but they seem to be just that cheaply made. $200 frames after insurance to just snap a few days later is ridiculous.

...No such thing as same day glasses. Took over a month and 4 visits. Last time I picked them up was the wrong presciption. I had enough and just asked for a refund and was given with no questions asked. Americas Best is half the price with the same glasses I wanted.

I cant say enough good about Eyeglass World! I was blown away at the kind staff (Veronica was amazing!), and incredible customer service. Not to mention the unbeatable prices and the fact they have same day service! Mind. Blown.Seriously though, they beat their competitors in EVERY way. (I purchased a pair of the basic plastic lenses for my back-up pair. $32 and change, TOTAL. LensCrafters quoted me $119, for the EXACT. SAME. THING... My experience with them was pretty bad. I believe Dr Baker switched my left and right eyes axis on the prescription he gave me because when I received my glasses, I was seeing in a weird angle. I did the eye test in Target and they gave me a very different prescription. Now I have to reorder my glasses. Oh, and their sales people suck - they wouldnt offer me a thing that was recommended on my prescription until I specifically asked for it. Very disappointed.

I give them one start for trying to be nice, but they are unprofessional. I ordered a pair of glasses frames and they said it would take 5 to 10 business day but it took more a month, then they told me my payment didn’t go through after they withdrawn money my account. Just a bunch of confusion. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone and of course I’m not going back there.

Extremely dissatisfied. Constantly promised that my prescription, and need for ansi rated glasses would be filled same day. This was not the case despite specifically asking if my prescription would be filled same day when I made my appointment a week ago, when I was checked in, during the eye exam, and before I picked out my frames. Only do they tell me that saftey rated lenses need to be sent out and cut at their outside lab and they could not fill the prescription same day. This information would have changed my entire visit had i known from the get go, or any time after when I had asked if my needs were going to be met. The only reason I came here, over anywhere else, or ordering online, is because they told me they would be able to meet my needs, only to be told that they cannot meet my needs right before they present their prices

I think the staff here is very helpful and attentive. Some of the reviews surprise me, because I have ordered here 3 different times and everytime has been great. I even sat on my glasses and they fixed them in under 10 minutes from arriving in their location. I have to wonder if some of the bad comments came from impatient people. The last time I went in, they were swamped with customers, even that time I was helped in a timely manner by Nathan and was very happy with his ability to help me and another customer at the same time. I will always go back and get glasses there.

First off... I had never been a customer here before, I always went to Americas Best thinking they had the best deals, I was so wrong! I called on a Thursday and they fit me in for eye exam the next day. Liz helped me out, she was so personable and very helpful. The entire store is buy one get one free off glasses, even designer pairs, which is never the case at other eye glass stores. I only had to pay one fee to make my lenses smaller due to how bad my prescription is... score! I ordered my glasses on a Friday night, and received them the following Wednesday... within 5 days, for how strong my prescription is that is unheard of! These guys were so awesome from the doctor, to the staff, very happy with my experience and glasses!

Had a problem with a new prescription that I needed. existing glasses were okay but I went in just to have the eye exam which I received and to get a pair of backup glasses made. After one or two minor hiccups I was able to get the new glasses and because of the delays they did not charge my account. Dr. Baker did several rechecks at no charge and bent over backwards to make sure that I received the glasses that I need. Thanks to the staff and I will be back!

I was visiting from out of town and my daughter broke her glasses and we happen to come across Eyeglass World. Despite the reviews we decided to give them a try. The whole staff was very friendly and helpful. We got such great service from the Doctor and we received our glasses in less than a day. The managers name I believe was Tyrell and he was very helpful and attentive. I would recommend them to anyone that I know.

Place is a joke!! I ordered two pair of glasses was told they would be ready that following Friday. Friday come and passed with no word on my glasses I called Saturday and was told one pair was ready and one was not. OK understand finally Thursday come and got a call they were mailed out, I live out of state. Yesterday ( week later) they showed up. One pair so bent Im surprised they didnt snap. The case is just fine. there was no way they wouldnt have been able to tell. This is the pair I was waiting over a week for. And my other pair are also bent to were Im constantly adjusting them. Havent even had them for five minutes and cant wear them. I call them to talk to them about it and tell me to go to Walmart they can fix it for free. Ill just go to Walmart than the next time I need glasses 😂😂

My 4-year old son wears glasses - one lens is a bifocal. He doesnt like wear them, and the line on his bifocal needs to be pretty high on the lens. Experience teaches us that wire frames last for about 4-6 weeks on this kid. Doesnt matter the manufacturer. Plastic is more durable; but the style the past several years is for girls to wear plastic or wire and for boys to wear wire frames.In April, Tiffany helped us find a blue pair of plastic frames that fit, that accommodate his bifocal, and that didnt have any sparkles or bling. The fellow who made the glasses also drilled out holes on the hard case to customize for the curve of the long temples. The frames are actually adolescent sized - and they adjusted them to fit the boys 4-year old child head.Since then, he has broken the frames a few times and completely annihilated the polycarbonate lenses once. Each time, they can replace them with the damage waiver. That is such a value for us.This week my boy got a new prescription, which his doctor faxed to Eyeglass World. A couple hours later we came to select his new glasses. We walked in the door, and Tiffany spotted us and brought over the frames that she had already pulled for my son.She and the other staff are patient with my wiggly kid and do all they can to make him happy and comfortable both in their store and with his glasses.We have previously had a problem with the Doctor there. He gave my husband THE WRONG prescription and would not revise it. Wouldnt even see him again. We went to a different doc who gave us the right prescription - completely different and correct. Dont get your eye check here; but totally a great place to fill the prescription and pick out glasses. Good selection, good service. We find great value in the replacement package, and the glasses staff are really great.

This place is a joke. We went in, picked out frames and they took measurements. The assistant manager told me she couldnt process it, but would call us the next day. No return call. When I called they had no clue what I was referring to and we started over. Then, they lost the frame measurements and said I needed to come back in. They claimed they never received our prescriptions a week after confirming their receipt. A month later my kids are without glasses. They couldnt pay me to ever come there again.

I had a new prescription that needed to be filled and decided to give these guys a try. My first impression should have been a sign. The two employees working seemed completely clueless and had a difficult time even reading my prescription. I was quoted a price and when they filled my order the price doubled. The girl says she made a mistake and only quoted me for one lens in the glasses, WHAT??. I decided to continue since I had already been in the store for over an hour at this point. Ive called to check on my glasses since its been over the 10 business days I was told it would take. All they can tell me is they have shipped from their lab but cant give me any kind of date when I should expect them. At this point Im scared to see what the end result is going to be. I should have walked out after my first impression.

AWFUL! From the cleanliness of this place to the doctor treating me like I was just a number. He was very arrogant and didnt seem to care or want to listen to my concerns- he seems very much in a rush to get me out of the office. Had to go back 4 times and they still never got my prescription right. Do not waste your money, they might be the best deal but definitely NOT worth it!!!

They did well to make up for the time i waited for my glasses. they couldnt really explain to me in detail why they took so long, granted they shipped from out of state so i understand it was out of their control, but the staff were super nice and understanding of my frustration and im definitely happy with the out come. They all deserve a raise after dealing with me! Im only giving three stars due to the fact that the optometrist just made me feel like i was wasting his time, other then that it was a great experience i would probably come back here again in the future so long as i dont need an eye exam.

I recently had an issue with the coating on my lens deteriorating. The glasses were two years old at the point where the issue made them unwearable. I was prepared to receive a typical out of warranty explanation, when I emailed their corporate office. After a little persistence the corporate office issued a $50 credit toward a new pair. When I went into the Murray location to see about a repair the manager offered me a free exam to be sure that the replacement was current and ended up replacing both lenses with an upgraded product to be sure that I was a happy customer.It is always frustrating to have issues with a product, but the response to those issues is how a company shows that they value their customers... I had a good experience and will return there for future purchases.

My eye exam was finished in about 6 minutes. The women I was purchasing from spent more time trying to up-sell me on eyeglass features than she did adjusting the glasses to fit my face. They didnt even properly re-measure the PD. Wore the glasses for a week and quickly realized I probably had the wrong prescription. Not a surprise from such a quick eye exam. Bryce was very nice when I told him that I wanted to return the glasses and was willing to do anything necessary to get me the right glasses. If only he was the sales person I worked with initially (I still returned the glasses). Overall the customer service isnt terrible, its just so inconveniencing to come here repeatedly because the prescription was wacky, and how do I know it wouldnt happen again? If you already know your prescription and are an experienced glasses wearer this is probably a good place to get some affordable glasses. But for me it was just a waste of time.

*Update - They told me I would receive an automated call once my glasses where ready, I never revived the call. So I am just lowering my review down to 1 star.Went in just to get a new pair of glasses and lenses. First visit was nice, everyone was pretty helpful but it was very slow to check out. I was told I could come and pick up my glasses the next day after 11:30, so during my lunch break head down to get them just to find out they did not cut the lenses correctly and now they needed to order them which would take 10 days.It sucks they did not call me and let me know this before hand, but I get it people where busy. The thing that really makes it so that I cannot recommend them is how rude the lady was who was telling me they couldnt get me my glasses today. Just slow, and bad customer service from one of the 4 employees I worked with there.I wont go again, but maybe someone else will have a better experience than me.

I have used Eyeglass World a few times and have always been treated well, and the employees tried to help me get exactly what I asked for. However recently, I walked in as I always do, because my schedule jumps around and that is easiest for me, and a lady by the name of Casey told me they were all booked and the schedule was too full that she would not even schedule me for a later date. She even argued with me. Thanks Casey, for the worst customer service I have ever been shown. I will be taking my business and my money elsewhere. I will never revisit because of how poorly treated I was.Usually customer service is an essential part of a job because the company relies on customers in order to stay in business. Casey, you will be the downfall of this Eyeglass World. Your lazy and rude behaviour is going to deminish business so rapidly that the person that hired you will not even know how they failed so suddenly.

I dont like to write negative reiews but this is not the first time this has happened. I will never give this place my business again!! Called to make sure they had my daughters lenses in & then booked an appointment for my daughter to get her lenses cut. When I show up to the appointment they tell me that someone else is booked instead at that time! When I asked if they could squeeze us in she tells me no, DOESNT EVEN APOLOGIZE & then her & another man continue to tell me that maybe I booked my appointment at Americas Best down the street instead or the other location in Orem... You know I am not an expert in customer service but even my young daughter knows that when you inconvenience a customer you first apologize, offer an alternative and DO NOT INSULT THEIR INTELLIGENCE TELLING THEM THAT THEY PROBABLY BOOKED SOMEWHERE ELSE INSTEAD! So again I explain that I booked at this location because not only is it showing in my call log but if I had even accidentally called the other places they wouldnt have had my daughters prescribed lenses or her name in their system...how is Americas Best or the location in Orem going to have my daughters lenses!!??I ask her AGAIN what other options do I have she tells me I will have to reschedule & come back ...obviously this young unprofessional girl is not wanting to even work with me! These people were incredibly rude! I walked in and it was obvious they were a little busy. But the workers didnt even acknowledge my existence. I stood there walking around for 15 minutes waiting for one of them to say something. They could at least extend the courtesy of saying Ill be with you in a minute. Relatively low pricing. However, misleading advertising makes it seem that the eye exam is included - it isnt, and in fact is an additional $40. When I pointed that out to the assistant manager, he acted shocked that I even brought it up.And, theyll try to up sell you to buy significantly more expensive, upgraded lenses that may or may not really be worth it. They certainly make it seem its a necessity. Add in all of that, and that initisl low-sounding $78 for two pairs is suddenly sitting at $220. Reminds me of U-Haul. You know, that $19.95 moving van you cant get for cheaper than $60 per day (not including fuel).

We called made appt and we asked how mich would the exam be for eyeglasses the lady said 35.00 we said oh okay awesome we will be there. Yesterday, we went to Eyeglass World in Murray, Utah to purchase glasses. Our appt. was for 11am - the Dr. was 35 minutes late and when we inquired about it, the mgr. just said he was with another patient. When we arrived home, we discovered that we were charged for 1Yr Protection Plan without our consent. When we called back to inquire about it, Tiffany told us it was always included in the purchase. NOT TRUE!! Just below the receipt it clearly states, If purchased, our Product Protection Plan offers a complete 1-year warranty against damage to frame and lenses. The words If purchased mean that the customer, has a choice when a CSR offers it, not to purchase it. To top it off, Tiffany had a poor attitude when she should have apologized and corrected the problem. This stores has steadily gone downhill since new mgmt. took over. Product is excellent but the service is way below par.

I sent my wife down to the store and they gave my 13 year old the exam...check. that was the only pleasant part. This is where the bad experience starts. My wife is told that insurance cannot be used for the 2 for 1 deal...of course they didnt tell me this on the phone before I came down to the store. ughhh....then they tell me that they are only showing a $60 allowance for glasses vs $100. I had to call my insurance company and 3-way call eyeglass world to fix it. Then I am told the machine is broken and we wont get the glasses until probably Monday. Un-fricken believable. The whole reason I came here is my kid needs glasses to function. Now I get the shaft BECAUSE I HAVE INSURANCE, I dont get the deal I called about, and worst of all my kid is blind as a bat until Monday....come on people learn to communicate. Please tell customers the facts when they call. Ughhh I am so frustrated. Please make this right somehow.***UPDATE*** 1/31/2017 I got a call from eyeglass world today and they apologized and really made me feel that they cared. I honestly didnt think writing a bad review would get me anywhere. Eyeglass World has changed my mind and kept a customer. I am glad there are still businesses out there that care enough to reach out to customers who had a less than favorable visit.

I was expecting to wait a while when i walked in for an eye exam and seen the lobby full. Not only was it busy but yhe front desk lady was snapping at all of the other employees when they asked her questions..talk about awkward....I thought to my self this is gonna take a while lol....To my amazement I was told it would only take 15 mins for me to see the optometrist. Figured Id look around in the time I was waiting. I wound up trying on only one pair as all of the glasses were locked up. I figured Id be patient I work in retail so I get it... Except i wound up waiting an hour just for the exam...and after it was done I was told to pick out glasses and wed go over payment options (uninsured!!!!) I asked if someone could unlock the glasses so i can try them on...i was told they needed the key and would be back, but no one ever came back. I left. No prescription nothing....just left. Wemt right over to lenscrafters across the street and wouldnt you know....all the glasses were unlocked and from the time I walked in...to the time I picked up my new glasses it was roughly an hour. I do have to say that I am shocked....Ive heard a few people I know say that they really loved this place...maybe it has to do with new management like the previous person suggested. It did not work for me, but maybe ot will for you?!?

Wasn’t super impressed with them. My new glasses are foggy and feel like they have a coating on them. Can’t seem to get them clean,Even with spray. I was also disappointed that after I paid $300 for my glasses that they wanted to charge me another &6.00 for a tiny bottle to glass cleaner spray. My last place gave you a cloth and a nice case and a bottle of spray for free with my glasses. You would think after you spend that much money they could at least give you a bottle of freaking spray!! 😡
