But, it’s something about repairing my hair, closing up split ends, pouring love into the cuticles of my hair and painting protein on my locks, making me feel like a beauty queen! I am not the expert, but he is! He’s likely chuckling at my description of his magic techniques! But… he can fill in the gaps. The treatment was 45 mins. 💥Wham Bam, thank you ma’am and my hair was completely renewed and shiny! ✨ Plus, I was floored by how affordable it was and worth every single penny! I enjoyed my experience with Earl Cooper while I was there! He was very detailed and he listen to what color and look I desired and achieved it. Best color and best haircut I’ve ever gotten in Salt Lake City! Very professional at what he does. He also cut my husband‘s hair and has amazing barbering skills. He does not do hair there now. He does hair at Create. The Collective salon across the street from Pioneer Park in Salt Lake City. I just wanted the new readers of Earl’s amazing past reviews to know.While I was there there was talk around our conversation that was inappropriate and it made me feel uncomfortable and unsafe. I wouldn’t recommend that place to anybody but I would recommend a Earl Cooper to everybody.

I would recommend Alexa to anyone! My hair was a mess of dark hair dye and she lifted it to the exact shade that i wanted. It took two sessions but im super happy with it. She listened to exactly what i wanted and talked me through what would look good with my face shape and set realistic expectations for lifting my hair (even though she totally went beyond my expectations). The salon its self is very welcoming and everyone that works there is friendly and goes out of their way to talk to you and make sure youre happy. Prices were also very reasonable.

During the time of Covid, even the most basic of relaxing times tends to have a level of anxiety attached to it. A visit to Bauhaus does not. While I was a client of Maggie’s prior to the pandemic, and appreciated the aesthetics of Bauhaus Salon, a visit now is even more of a treat. It’s clean. It’s safe. It is not an anxiety inducing luxury. From their high end style and products line to the incredible art to the utmost care and attention to each detail the owner (and his dog- make sure to check out the bathroom for pictures if you don’t meet them in person) oversees, getting services here is a complete experience. Even during Covid, while we all safely wear our masks.My style is unique, and as a true hair artist, Maggie has truly embraced it as art, however I realize most people have their hair professionally done because they just want to look and feel fabulous. A trip to Bauhaus (and Maggie) will deliver these results. My daughters, my daughter-in-law and two of my best friends rely on the expertise and professionalism to achieve incredibly beautiful results that build with each appointment. It’s been a hard several months. Treat yourself and feel good.

I really enjoyed my time with Earl at Bauhaus Salon. Starting with my phone call to schedule an appointment, Earl was friendly and helpful. Pregnant with my first, I was looking for a quick cut & color before my due date in two weeks, and he was able to squeeze me in the same day, which was awesome! He was also kind enough to make sure I was comfortable with the coloring methods, being pregnant. He was able to suggest low-maintenance cut and color options, as I will likely not be back to the salon again for a while! During the styling appointment, Earl and I chatted easily about hair and parenthood. I absolutely love the natural dimension and lightness he achieved with my hair color, and he also did well taking some of the bulk out of my fine, thick hair. This was my first hair appointment post-pandemic and my last pre-baby, so I splurged a bit on my visit with Earl. He is a master stylist and it shows!

Earl Cooper at Bauhaus Salon is very talented and wouldn’t go to anyone else! The experience I had was professional, clean and overall just amazing. His barbering skills are on point and the skin fade I got looked crazy good! I also got my hair colored blonde and I am extremely happy with his service! Hands down the best!

I’ve found my salon! I saw Donzie for a haircut, and was blown away. She was thorough, friendly, attentive, and even took time to educate me about styling my hair. After leaving my appointment, I realized my cut needed to be tweaked a bit. Donzie was very understanding and made time for me the next day.I have dense wavy/curly hair, and my hair has honestly never looked or felt this nice after a cut before. Donzie seriously knows what she’s doing! I also love the products she used in my hair. I will absolutely be back!

My family found Dave Holland later into moving to Utah and I wish I had met him 4 years ago. He completely transformed me back to a beige blonde with just a touch of warmth to complement my complexion and hazel green eyes. My son has naturally wavy hair and this was the first time he could wash and wear his hair without styling. It lays so well he looks like he styled it. My daughter had a very short cut and was growing it out and he was able to ensure it didnt have the box effect through the grow out. He is a true artist with a kind heart and we were honored that he crossed our path. :)

Bauhaus Salon is one of the best things about The Avenues. David at Bauhaus Salon was referred to me two years ago by a local salon owner when I moved here and was looking for a new hair stylist, and I am so glad I found him. One of the hardest parts about moving is finding someone new to cut my hair, and David is one of the best stylists with whom I have ever worked.David pays great attention to detail, never rushes, and always make sure the haircut is what I wanted. He has been great at helping me figure out new ways to style my hair that fit with my hair length and type, and he is great at listening to my comments and cuts/styles my hair consistent with what I’ve asked. The prices are great and well worth it.The ultimate test is that my wife is always really happy with his haircuts and when I asked her what I should do with hair this time, she responds to have David again what he did last time.Plus David is just an awesome guy, and I always look forward to our conversations. He now cuts my children’s hair and is amazing with kids and toddlers. The rest of the salon staff have always been friendly and helpful. Thank you, David!

When I ask questions during my cut/color, she never hesitates to explain things or make sure Im comfortable with the direction shes going with my hair. My girl Maggie is the absolute goddess of all things hair!! Shes been doing my hair for the last 4 years now! I wont see anyone else! I usually struggle with styling on my own but Maggie always is more than happy to answer my questions and shows me how to do the movements so my hair will look just as glorious when Im doing it on my own. I love Maggies work! I found her by looking through Instagram stylists in our area. Her pictures consistently show precision through different types of style, hair length and hair type.Her hair coloring is beautiful and thoughtfully done. The ability to get a great cut and color with the same stylist made the decision to make an appointment easy.The salons value of customer service is obvious as Maggie called back in a timely manner.My cut is beautiful and easy. I have never got my haircut by anyone another person than my mum until now. I love her dearly, but she is not a professional hairstylist. Having done my research on several different hairstylist I decided that I would go with Earl Cooper’s help to bring confidence to my wild curly hair. Not knowing the hair world vocabulary, I had to call the Salon, Bauhaus, and by some chance Earl Cooper was the one to get my call. He was very professional and friendly over the phone which made me feel a little better about going to the Salon because I was having a lot of anxiety about it since this was a first. When I got to the Salon, everyone was very kind. One of the hair stylist David introduced me to their pet, Mellie. She was a very beautiful dog that even added to the affect of how warm and friendly the place was. After that I met Earl Cooper for the first time in person, he was very personable, talkative, and easy going. His Persona made it easy for me to enjoy the whole experience. Before even starting my hair, he consulted me for about 30 so minutes on what route to go with my hair. He was very careful to explain every step and give me advice before, during and after the hair styling. I wanted to go short with my hair along with a shade of blond highlights. Earl kept great care of my hair. The before and after were totally different. I’m in love with my new look. I will definitely be going back to Earl Cooper in the future for anything hair related. If you want high quality care for your hair, I urge you to give Earl Cooper a try.

Dave Holland is marvelous! I went for a haircut and expressed to him that I wished my hair was fuller and more voluminous so he suggested a hair thickening treatment and my hair is noticeably fuller with a sassy new cut! Stylist Taylor Daniel: From my first hair coloring appointment to my last, Taylor truly excelled at listening to my professional needs for my hair to keep it in tip top shape for stage performances. He was able to provide insights and suggestions that were in sync with my hair goals. During the 2 year time I was living in Salt Lake City 2018-2020, I received beautiful natural ash blonde highlights, deep condition treatments, women’s hair cuts, and GK treatments (which if you don’t know what that is, look it up-it changed my life). I am no longer living in the Salt Lake Area, and I hope I will be able to find a hair stylist as amazing as Taylor in my new city. Taylor is a brilliant master hair artist. I am SUPER picky about my haircuts. I went to hair school so when I go to a salon, I know what I want! Dave was amazing! I only waited long enough for him to sanitize and ready his station and then we sat down together and talked about what I wanted. I showed Dave pictures both of what I wanted AND what I didnt want. Clean, modern, open and airy setting with good and variable music. Dave Holland is a top tier stylist and relaxed salon owner- everybodys favorite buddy.Jennifer Lee is my stylist. She caters to all of my strange requests and gets me in & out quickly. You can tell that all of the stylists here genuinely enjoy the company of each other.

Donzie is AMAZING! I was so nervous to have anyone work with my hair after it was severely damaged. I decided to let Donzie try to repair it, and I’ve been going to her ever since. Her attention to detail is phenomenal. You can tell she sincerely wants you to love your experience and how you look. She has known exactly when to talk me down from a wild (poor impulse) decision and when to cheer me on and guide me to the best way to do it and care for my hair.

Alexa did a FANTASTIC job with my cut and balayage. She’s very attentive and eager to work with you to ensure the best outcome. She gave me the hair I dreamed of and I’m so happy I came to her! I wish I could give her more stars!!

I’ve gotten a haircut, deep treatment, and blonde color correction all done by Earl. he always knows how to bring my hair back to life and knows exactly what will look good on me. he goes through everything beautifully yet professionally. my hair looks and feels great. it’s always such a good time with him. thank you again Earl :)

I booked an appointment with Maggie and she was super professional but engaging at the same time. Listened to what I wanted and checked that I was happy throughout the hair cut. 10/10 will be going back to her!

I found Maggie online and was able to book with her that week. My experience was fantastic, she made me feel beautiful and welcome. She is a very skilled stylist and worth every penny. I couldnt be happier and everyone loves my hair!! Also the salon is very clean and I felt very safe in regards to COVID, the owner is also very nice and Millie is the bestest doggo!

You know I was excited to have a perm, but as a professional you dont have to read what you doing. I barley have any curles , they are waves . Was a lot money I paid .

Best place to be...during a pandemic😁. For myself it just took living on 3 continents and many years to find Bauhaus owned by David, who brought this vibrant place with great style and a wonderful atmosphere to SLC. Earl Cooper knows hair like no other, he is passionate, creative and has an incredible skill set when it comes to cut/color and style - hands down! If you don t doze off during one of the epic treatments he will give you and pay some attention to all the exciting things going on around you, you will come away with a bunch of awesome knowledge as an extra bonus. I highly recommend Earl, there is no challenge he isnt up to!

Bauhaus Salon is fabulous. The modern interior of the salon coupled with the quaint Avenues location is fabulous. Their beautiful and friendly staff are fabulous. But most importantly...my HAIR is FABULOUS! Thank you Dave, thank you Bauhaus, you guys rock 💖

By far the best salon I have ever been to! Not only are they talented professional stylists at Bauhaus, they are incredibly amazing people. You won’t be disappointed. I promise. 😉

I called to schedule an appointment with David (as a new client) and I kept on being told he “was on the phone” and would call me back since she keeps his own schedule. I called three times and always got the same excuse, I never heard back. If you’re not scheduling new clients or don’t want to see more people then just say it. Don’t waste people’s time by telling the people answering the phone that you “will call back”. I ended up going to Tyson Daniel hairdressers and they were fabulous. Don’t waste your time trying to schedule with people who don’t bother to return a phone call.

I highly recommend this salon! Myka is a hair wizard, she totally transformed my hair and I left there super happy. I only wish I would have went to her sooner!

I do not live in Salt Lake City anymore but I’m writing this review because I honestly still consider Donzie my hair soulmate. She always listened to what I wanted and was able to take her expertise and turn that idea into something that really worked for me. I truly left the salon feeling understood and good about my cut/ styling.Please go here and get your hair cut with Donzie in my honor since I can’t.

I called Earl on a reference and was able to get him with him right away. Hes got a great vibe- friendly, kind, professional, and my hair looks great! I highly recommend!
