Im fairly new to the clinic but I love it so far...staff is super friendly and professional... They have offered me help in areas no one else has. Also it doesnt get super crowded which helps keep my anxiety down

This is by far one of the best, if not the best, methadone clinic in salt lake city. Ive been to a few of the big named clinics and they treat you like youre just money for them and not even human. This place treats you with respect and not like some drug user who is human waste and not worth the time. They are also the best priced clinic too and is usually cheaper than most by $40 or so a month. There arent lines for dosing. You go there and dose and leave. There arent usually holds that need to be removed or any other issues that keep you at the clinic longer. This is a great place and I highly recommend it.

There is a great staff at Denove! People who are dedicated to helping you find a personalized recovery plan that will increase your chances of recovery. In all honesty there are definitely some counselors that are doing their job for all the right reasons and are great at what they do.. Then there is the 1 percent who would do justice to find a position where they work with little interaction with people.. Besides that, you wont find a better group of people and atmosphere then Denovo! The owner is very knowledgeable and a great guy! Give this place a try..

Great place, Great people. As long as you abide by their rules and guidelines as well as staying on top of the weekly treatment fees, you will get along great. Doing so will increase your chances of reaching the goals you are there to accomplish.

DeNovo has always treated me with respect and dignity which you don’t find at most treatment facilities. I am so grateful for the help and support to get my life back on track, I cannot say enough for the encouragement, and help I get from going there! If you are looking for a better way then I would highly recommend DeNovo. I would not have anything without there help. Thank you so much for everything.

I was switched councilors avidly after starting treatment which made it difficult to build a re pore with anyone. Also avoid using their restrooms, they falsely accused me of leaving a take home lid in the bathroom when nothing could have been further from the truth. The doctors will also apply punishments like they did in this case I am referring too without addressing you about it or truly caring about the actual truth. Some of the staff like the dosing nurse are good. But Jerry the Director and some of the Doctors are horrible. Go to a different clinic and save yourself the trouble

I have been a client for about a year and a half and throughout my time my expierence was top notch. The workers have turned into family and always go above and beyond to make sure I am well taken care of. Kay and Diane are more than just workers. The owner Jerry knows what hes doing and it shows. He runs a tight ship. He is down to earth and has years of experience. Denovo not only saved my life but because of each workers hard work and dedication I was also awarded custody of my child. Denovo changed my life and they could change your life as well.

This place is an absolute JOKE! SEEK TREATMENT ELSEWHERE!!!!! WASTE OF MONEY AND TIME! They are constantly understaffed, which then causes the client to suffer. I was a client there for almost 5 years, same with my husband. We are now NO THANKS TO THEM clean from everything and now only take our medication. But sadly I can say that most people will fail if this is the place you choose and you are actually expecting real help real treatment, I have been through many, and luckily I used all my past experience and the support of my husband family and friends to make my story successful as well as my husband. All this place did was become a new dealer! Thats how they treat you! oh and also they will bend every regulation possible on their end and justify it but when they can they use against you to the fullest. Also they let doctors whom you have NEVER EVEN MET OR SPOKEN TO change a dose of medication that you have been on for years and have been successful. Oh and then when you get two letters saying that you need to leave and seek treatment else where by Friday ( because thats they day you pay and pick up) and you do...they then say that the reason they didnt send the proper paper work to my new clinic is because they didnt know I was being discharged...uh really ? OH and I have two voicemails stating the discharge! So when I thought I was all done with them and had been at my new clinic for over a week..my clinic tells me well we cant give you your take homes because denovo has not sent over your medical records..we got everything for your husband but only some of your stuff. So they keep sending request and getting nothing so my new clinics nurse calls and asks why they didnt send my medical records? they stated because they didnt receive a request for my information...and the nurse stated really then how did you send my her dosing information as well as her TB? No reply other than we will get it sent over! They are liars!!! I was so happy that they basically just helped me in my stance on why they are so awful. My new clinic at first I believe was in a bit of disbelief until this moment of dealing with them...They honestly couldnt believe it. The sad thing is they actually do have some great people in there...but they dont stay...or they are deeply controlled by Jerry the owner and Director. The guy that said he didnt know I was being discharged after two letters and two voicemails from him stating it! I HAVE SO MUCH MORE I COULD SAY!!! I COULD WRITE A NOVEL! DO NOT GOT HERE!!!! YOU WILL REGRET IT! JUST SERIOUSLY GO TO ANYONE OF THE CLINICS BUT THIS ONE!!!!! have any questions? just ask!!!

Denovo has been a great tool to help exume my life. While i am very greatful for all the wonderful people i have met on my journey, unfortunately my experiences with staff members were not all good and not always the most professional.

My husband and I went here for years. Its an amazing place with staff that actually cares and is willing to work with you.Not once did we feel like we was being judged. Unlike other clinics. You can tell they actually care. Especially CJ. Diane and Jerry.

This place is horrible they expect u to pay for counseling if u are even 10 minutes late. Thats not all they charge u all sorts of fees I think its 3p are if ur late to a doctor visit. And theres no excuses I could get hit by a car on my way down there be a minute late and not dose. But when it comes.to them breaking their own rules it dont matter at all. Last year they broke the confidentiality rule I even signed a document saying g they wouldnt break it they gave me some ones else paper work with my own. It was their referral papers from project reality and even had their social.security number on it I could a got my self a new identity out of the deal but did the right thing when they didnt I brought it to their attention. I wanna taper off methadone but of course they make it hard as possible first I gotta make a couple si g appointment then wait a week see him then wait another week to see the doc then he will suggest I only.go down 4 milligrams a week so they can keep me longer. So this place sucks dont sell your soul to the devil I totally screwed my self getting involved with these fools if you want a good clinic that doesnt charge for being late and is open until 9 on Saturdays go to discovery house I would have but its about 3 miles away. So keep you social security number to your self and stay far far away from this place.

Attempted to take a Prime for Life Course after a DUI and had the largest waste of time. Jerry the site director failed to communicate with Andie the teacher of the course that we were scheduled for Oct 18-20 to complete the course despite me calling into the center multiple times from the weeks prior starting in mid September. I arrived for my course to have Jerry ask me why I was there and that Andie was under the impression I would not attend, although I had many conversations with him and Sheila the receptionist before this time. Jerry initially offered me a $50 discount to make up for the time I had taken off work and rescheduled for the weekend. Andie the teacher then insisted that I pay for the full course before she saw me for any of the hours. I stated that I was uncomfortable paying until we had completed the course. She then followed up by saying she was uncomfortable providing the course and that she would have Jerry issue me a refund and I would need to go elsewhere. They also charged me $100 before agreeing to schedule the prime for life course requiring an assessment which was me sitting in a room alone to take an hour to fill out a questionnaire and slide show. Its a major disappointment to see a facility waste a full month of time and be entirely incapable of organization and communication within themselves as a treatment center.

I think its a great place with very nice and friendly people that work there. I would definitely recommend it.

Intake day was overall a decent experience but am quite disappointed with the Doc/policy for a couple reasons.1. Started on such a low dose (25mg), w/d symptom and cravings returned midway through the day. Keep in mind he wanted to start at 20 mg and I had to really put up a fight to get to agree to 25. This wouldn’t be a deal at all, and is actually quite common a policy among clinics, had it not been for the disappointing policy that at DeNovo to up your dose you have to wait and do so within four day increments at only five mg’s at a time. (Other clinics differ in that they will initially get you to a comfortable dose or out of W/D as quickly as possible even if that means bumping you up day two or three by 10 mgs.)2. Was ignored by doctor when tried to communicate what had worked in the past.3. @ DeNovo Docs whether still sick or not you will wait the four days to up your dose.4. Was treated by doc as if getting high was the still the whole point.5. Apparently the on site doc only comes in once a week??Perks:1.Every time I go here I seem to be in and out relatively quick, which is much appreciated. If you’ve been to some other clinics out there in this country and in Utah you know that some days and perhaps a majority of the days your wait time can be 30 min to an hour on a consistent basis.2. Both receptionists seem to be very pleasant and do a good job.3.The nurse though stern is straight to the point which I like and actually helpful if you have a dosing issue.Now though some of these are described and appear to be perks. The real cause of these perks could either be the effects of an efficient, well run business or rather and simply a lack of business due to bad business practice.There seldomly seems to be much of anything going on when im there which makes me wonder at times whats really going on with this place??

Ive been to multiple (three) before tapering and finishing.. De Novo is THE LAST PLACE YOU WANT TO BE.. THEY ARE JUST ABOUT MONEY its so sad.

Worst place for treatment in the USA. Rude people, crazy rules. They literally have the doctor sign a stack of prescriptions before even being seen. The nurses then just hand them out. They make you come in once a week, and charge you $65 a week. I found a place that not only is more friendly but only costs $100 a month. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

Denovo saved my life and my marriage, by giving me the tools and help I needed to stay off drugs. It’s a judgement free place they are always there to help.
