They did an amazing job. I truly appreciate how kind they have been and quite helpful. I have two issues with them -1) The long wait times. We waited for well over an hour to be seen even though we made it there on time.2) They do not validate parking and since they do not, we had to pay which didn’t bother me too much BUT since they did not see him in a timely manner, the price for the parking went up.Other than that, Dr. Murphy was awesome and his professionalism is unmatched.

Really have a good experience with the front desk , doctor Victor and my physical therapist. My issue is with the billing department. I have been calling trying to get a hold of them to discuss a bill that I’m receiving and every time I’m told that they will call me within $48 hours and this being going on for months and I don’t hear from them. Why am I receiving these bills when the last time I was in the office I was clearly told my balance was $0 after making all the payment. My copay is $50 each visit. I had 4 visits with the doctor and 3 visits with the therapist. I went to the billing department and paid $350 ( $200 for the 4 visits with the doctor and $150 for my visit with physical therapy) . I haven’t been in the office every since I made my payment. I even confirmed with the person in billing department that I didn’t owe anything. Now I’m receiving bills and no one is answering my calls and I am getting a threat to send the bill to collection? That’s not really how you take care of your clients and I think it’s really unprofessional. I have the receipt to prove it all my payment.

My experience is only with physical therapy. The actual physical therapy was fine. My issue is with the administration.I had requested multiple times for paperwork to be sent to the doctor who ordered physical therapy. They would not give me a hard copyof the paperwork but assured me they would send it to my doctor who ordered the physical therapy. I told them the exact day I was going and how important was that the doctor get my paperwork. Of course, they never sent the paperwork to the doctor. I had waited two + weeks to get an appointment with this doctor so it was very important that the paperwork be there. I had to try to explain what the physical therapist said. It was so frustrating.Its hard to trust an organization that cant even follow through with the basic task of sending a doctor paperwork.

Dr. Wowk is amazing. I went to him for a second opinion after having suffered a knee-related injury at work. His review of my case was very thorough and caring. He always takes the time to answer all of my questions, and actively listens! I was so impressed that he is now my orthopedist!

Very friendly and attentive staff, thats why there is 2 stars and not one! Dr. Stephen Rockower, on the other hand, had absolutely horrible bedside manner, was rude, and when I explained my situation and previous medical history, I was told he didnt care and that I needed to be treated first (there was no diagnosis) with PT, a brace and anti-inflammatory medication for 3 WEEKS (mind you, my injury had been going on for 4 weeks already, and he was made aware of that) and then we would see about getting an MRI at my 3 week followup. When I further inquired and pressed about getting an MRI and how I would be more comfortable with that first, he denied it and dismissed my concerns entirely. Thankfully, I followed up with my PCP to see if they would order the MRI, and they did. I ended up having an injury unrelated entirely to what he had instructed for PT that would have worsened my pain and caused my actual injury to worsen greatly! For your safety and well being, please do not see him!!

Dr.Grossman is fantastic. He is thorough, and always reviews what took place or was discussed at our last appointment before proceeding with his new examination. He then presents the treatment options and what he recommends. He is also personable and always respectful. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Wowk was good. He told me what he found in his exam - including the progress of my arthritis. I am sorry that it is spreading in my hands but I want to be informed.

Dr. Rockower is a caring doctor. He listens to patients, discusses all options and prescribes appropriate remedy.

I visited Capitol Orthopaedics with an appointment for the first time earlier this year. I arrived 15 minutes early after paying to park in the on site parking lot. I waited about 45 minutes to be led back to a patient room. I politely asked the staff several times how much longer the wait would be and was not given a conclusive response. After waiting over an hour and a half, I asked the receptionist to refund my co-pay as I had my 3 month old baby with me who needed to be taken home and could no longer wait for the doctor. To their credit, a staff member called me the next week to follow up regarding my experience, however I value my time too much to return to this establishment.

DO NOT BOOK ONLINE. I booked an appointment online a few days in advance of my appointment and never received a confirmation email. I called that morning at 7am to confirm, but there was no answer. I showed up for my appointment and they said I was not confirmed and couldn’t be seen. Frustrated that I bothered to go, when no one had called to confirm.

I had a shoulder separation and subsequent rotator cuff surgery 20 years ago by another surgeon. Over time I developed a bone spur and arthritis in my shoulder leaving me with much reduced movement. Dr. Cervieri performed a total shoulder replacement on me 2 weeks ago and already moving my arm relative freely. She answered all my questions before and directly after the surgery and again during my follow up appointment. The care I got and still receive from her is excellent and I am looking forward to having “normal” movement in my arm again after I complete PT in her office.

I absolutely love Dr. Wowk. He is very thorough and explains everything in detail, andhas a very caring bedside manner. The staff is always courteous, efficient, and fast. No one wants to have orthopedic issues, however if you do, this is definitely the practice to go for treatment.

Dr. Wowk was great! I truly feel that I am in good hands. He was extremely thorough, very professional, good listener and provided me with excellent advice for my condition. Glad I chose Dr. Wowk.

Dr. Grossman is a caring physician. He listens and he teaches the patient which I found commendable. He is one of the best.

I scheduled an appointment for 10:00AM via their online scheduling service zocdoc (which is a 3rd party vendor), received numerous confirmation emails and texts for 10:00AM. When I arrived at 9:30AM today they told me Im an hour late....If you offer online scheduling you should ensure that its compatible with the doctors calendar and if you do reschedule the date and time you should ensure the patient actually receives the message as well as confirm with the patient that the time and date works for that patient, rather than reschedule the appointment without confirmation. Other doctors I visit use the same service and I havent run into this issue with them. Very unprofessional.

If I could give it less then one I would. After making me wait over an hour, a doctor came, suggested I wait it out and check back in another month. You can ONLY pay for parking after 30 minutes and they do not validate.

Highly recommend Dr Rockower. He explains all of the issues and provides all of the alternative options.

Dr. Rockower quickly determined that my problem was not likely orthopedic but probably neurological, and prescribed treatment (NSAIDs and PT) that I am now undergoing. Wont know for a while if were on the right track, but I was pleased with his understanding of my issues and quick diagnosis.

Dr Grossman is my favorite doctor. He must get so so tired of all of us with painful backs or sciatica, but is always caring, concerned and helpful.

Dr. Grossman is an outstanding doctor and diagnostician. I was in a car accident and until I saw Dr. Grossman I was not getting better and in extreme pain. He figured out what was wrong, fixed what he could, and referred me to other medical professionals to help me with injuries outside his area of expertise. With my dream team in place, I was able to make a better recovery than I ever thought possible. I am living the dream. Thank you, Dr. Grossman.

Bad office policies that lead to bad health outcomes. Cervieri is never available to see its patients and cancels urgent appts. She has a bad habit of not following through with test results.

Dr. Stephen Rockower is an excellent orthopedic surgeon. He shows great kindness and is a true care-giver. He is wonderfully thorough in his observations and diagnoses.

I had 2 tears and dislocated tendon. Dr Rockower had me going for physical therapy. I had 2nd opinion at OrthoBethesda very professional place I had surgery. At Capitol very unprofessional.I had another issue for billing called about 5 times no response they dont care.I am force to pay for something for a mistake done in the office.They always short in personnel waiting sometimes over an hour.I would not recommend this place.

The office staff and doctor were very professional and friendly. During my visit, I also had to have imaging which was taken care of in the same building. That added to the overall time, but I ended up leaving the office in less pain than when I entered.

It was good experience!
