Love Dr. McCune! I finally found a good OBGYN. She delivered my baby via c-section and she is my go to for regular annual visits. The level of care I receive is unbeatable. She’s relatable, has great bedside manner and always makes me feel comfortable. EXCELLENT doctor.

Dr. Guardian is the most knowledgeable, understanding, and engaging doctor I’ve ever had. She is very patient when she explains complicated health concerns. Most importantly, Dr. Guardian takes the time to get to know you as a person.

I am a new patient at Capital Womens Care Rockville and I was super impressed with every staff member. The check in people, the check out people, and the nurses were uniformly helpful and pleasant. I was seen on time, and I had the opportunity to fill out some of the paperwork at home prior to going in. I also appreciated both text and email reminders. And there is plenty of parking! But I was even more impressed with Dr Kelly McCune. She was very thorough and took her time with me. She was gentle during the pelvic. She explained things really well and understood what I meant when I was trying to explain. She asked great questions, and she answered all of my questions thoroughly and completely. Im 58 years old.... and this was the best gyn appointment I have EVER had. 10 stars.

My primary care doctor recommended Capital Women’s Care. I have been seeing Dr McCune for my annual gynecology appointments and I have been very pleased. She takes the time to follow up on issues I mentioned in previous visits. During the Covid outbreak I have been not been diligent in following through on setting up appointments with other specialists. Dr. McCune set me on the right path by taking the time to give me recommendations with names and telephone numbers I can use to set up these appointments. She is thorough and genuinely cares about her patients.

Dr. McCune, the nurses, and staff are so kind and friendly! Im always anxious and nervous about having these appointments but Dr. McCune was really kind, patient, and empathetic with me. Shes easy to talk to, listened to my concerns, and added humor where appropriate to help calm my nerves. I highly recommend her (and the practice in general) as a provider!

I have been coming here for my first pregnancy. The staff and doctors at this practice are wonderful. The front desk is highly communicative, welcoming and patient. I normally see Dr. McCune but Ive had appointments with Dr. Spector and Dr. Ghatan, and all 3 doctors are excellent and informative. It is clear that they communicate with one another as each doctor is always aware of my medical history and last visit notes and follow up with me each time. I highly recommend this practice!

This practice is phenomenal! Every single staff member shows passion in what they do 💜 throughout both of my pregnancies, I have felt comfortable & well taken care of by these lovely ladies. After moving to Frederick County, there was no way Id change practices & willingly took the drive throughout my second pregnancy. Best practice in MD, if you ask me!

Capital Womens Care Rockville is an amazing organization and I have felt so supported by them before, during, and after my pregnancy. Chris, Tina, and the other women who work at reception make you feel welcome and calm. I have greatly enjoyed getting to know them. They really make your initial experience at CWC! Additionally, the nurses Laura and Gina are fabulous and were super responsive throughout some challenging moments during my pregnancy. Finally, the doctors are knowledgable and kind. I appreciate that during your pregnancy you get to know all of them so you get a variety of perspectives. Overall, I would highly recommend CWC Rockville to women. It is a special practice with women who truly care about the work they do!

The care from the doctors is great and I have no problems with them. The administrative side of things could definitely use some organization and streamlining. They have lost or misplaced my paperwork several times, do not get back to me in a timely manner, and the process for getting test results or refills on medication is really silly. You can call in but the nurses will NEVER pick up the phone and you have to leave a message no matter what. No one warns you about this and I didnt know that was the situation until I called the front desk. Then, because you have to leave a message and cant talk to a real person, you have to wait to get a call back within 24 hours so if its something that you need taken care of that day youre out of luck. It is a long and tedious process and this is the only practice Ive been to that does something like that. I dont understand why they do it that way and it is extremely annoying.

My experience with this practice has been horrific. This is my second pregnancy and I am currently 31 weeks pregnant. In April, a miscommunication occurred for which I took responsibility for my part although, I could not understand how something of this nature could be ‘missed’. One and half months later I was told that Dr. Gurdian had decided to drop me from the practice because i was not ‘open’ with her. I was told that she told me about this when we met in April and I was sent a letter. I was 28 week pregnant when they informed me. The office manager called and left a message ‘explaining’ why I was dropped and that I was apparently told by Dr. Gurdian when we met. Despite the ‘doctor patient confidentiality’ that I expected, the Office Manager informed me of a completely fabricated conversation I had apparently had with Dr. Gurdian with my medical information. I called again a few days later to ask them to please send my records to which the receptionist (who repeated every confidential detail the Office Manager knew) informed me that they would need to charge me for each fax. When they finally sent in my records, only half had been sent. Nothing on my previous pregnancy. In my records Cap Women had described my discussion with Dr. Gurdian as a ‘SAGA’ painting me to be a suicidal, drug addict. I have never taken illegal drugs. All my medication and medical history is recorded and what happened to me during my illness (which I ended up having to have surgery for) could have happened to anyone, which is why each patient should be evaluated by a trained expert, on a case to case basis, and NOT by nurses and technicians who blabber and embarrass patients adding to the stigma. And to think that I excused all the drawbacks this doctor and this practice have had because I thought they meant well, and they were just human etc. etc. My first pregnancy with them ended with an emergency c-section 24 hours after my water broke and 5 hours of pushing and my daughter having to be checked for infections because of this and it could all have been avoided if a pelvic check was done during my last trimester. This pregnancy had me in an out of this office because they had me do scans I did not need, an uncountable amount of blood tests, giving me incorrect information of my baby having a high risk of down syndrome..Dr. Gurdian, her nurse practitioners and office managers can label me anything they chose, from suicidal to addict, I dont care enough to stop them because God knows the truth. They can take a persons past situation, generalize it and call it a drama or a saga or anything they can come up with. They can bill me stating that MD law permits them to charge me for my own records and of course they can make me beg them for my own information, information that they have tarnished so that I wont be able to find a doctor in time. But the morals behind dropping a patient for something beyond their control, at eight months pregnant, a patient who excused the severe drawbacks of this practice, and to give that patient such a hard time when all they want is to move on, there is no excuse.I honestly do not want my worst enemy to go through what my family and I are now going through to find a new doctor at this stage with no medical records being made available. Knowing that if something happens right now, I dont have a doctor. But yet, I tell myself having no doctor is better than having someone who treats me this way.If this doctor and her practice thinks that there is any moral backing to the stress that they have caused me, time will tell. I heard of a gynecologist who was successfully sued because she performed a second c-section a few inches away from the first and the patient did not think that she looked good in a bikini anymore thanks to her second cut (I’m not judging - just saying), who knows what life has in store for someone who puts another person in a situation like this.

My girlfriend had a horrible experience here. Staff was rude/unresponsive not only when we showed up for her appointment but also when we tried to get in contact via phone. They also took a ridiculously long time (more than two weeks) to get the results of her lab tests back for tests that typically take no longer than 3 days to get the results for (according to them).

I made an appointment as a new patient. Called 2 days later to make sure they received my outside records. Told me there was no appointment for me. But no worries can fit me in. Ok, I get to the place and try to check in, kiosk tells me I have no appointment. Girl at desk confirms. No worries, they can fit me in. I wait in a very small and dirty waiting area... for over an hour and a half. I ask at the check in desk what is happening. She calls back and tells me they are waiting for a room. Ok, my appointment was supposed to be at 10:45.. Its now 11:45. I explain to the nurse who takes me back that I am upset, she was snotty and trying to tell me my appointment was not until 11:15. Not caring that I did not make that appointment. Tells me to take a pregnancy test. Ok, I have never been here before, have no idea where to go or where anything is. I have to ask and I get a yep. Perfect and professional. (sarcasm) I was about to walk out of that horrible place but thankfully the doctor was fine. She took her time, talked to me and was extremely nice and helpful. Also very knowledgeable. She wasnt really concerned about what happened with the office staff but I dont expect her to be.. shes busy with patient care and I get it. If you could by-pass the administrative part of this place and the dirty waiting area.. go for it..
