One of the best specialist Ive ever seen. She came highly recommended from my orthopedic surgeon. Dr Rajagopal is so caring and explains everything to you in a way you can understand. Since I am not a doctor- that is very much appreciated. My first appointment she sat down with my husband and I (for probably 30-40 minutes!) to explain my condition and a path to fix it. She continues to actually care about my treatment and communicates with you via their portal if needed. This woman knows her stuff and I cannot say enough great things about her.I am reading the wait can sometimes be longer than expected but I imagine this is because she takes so much time with each patient to make sure they are aware of all their options moving forward. I absolutely feel it is worth it.

Just finished my 6th round of chemo with Dr Raj. My experience was positive throughout the entire process. Dr Raj and her entire staff were always professional, caring and supportive. Highly recommend.

Once you are inside the room, then its seems like you have been forgotten. Not once but every time its been like that. Doctor takes too long to come to the room to see.

This Hematologist was referred to me by my nephrologist. My appointment was at 4 and I didn’t actually get seen by Dr. Rajagopal until 5 something. The lab work and medical history questionnaire didn’t take more than 30 min. I would’ve appreciated they check in and tell me I wouldn’t see Dr. Rajagopal until 5. Once I did see her she was thorough and broke everything down and made the wait feel worth it. Until I never heard from her again...weeks passed I finally called and asked for an update on the lab work and what I should do..nothing, they said she would call me back. I then called back a few days later they promised they’d get the note to her and here we are about a month later and my blood count is low and there is no treatment plan in place. Doesn’t seem like she cares about her patients.

My wait time is 1hr and overall time spent in the clinic is 2hr 30min. Receptionist and the other clinical staff are good except the doctor Rajagopal...Dr.Raj is talented but she does not have to patience to answer the questions. My experience was really bad because she told everything in her doctor terminology but when I asked a question about one thing she was frustrated and did not explain....I wouldn’t recommend her just because of her attitude.

Dr. Raj is an excellent professional, however the administrative staff is a disaster. I waited 26 minutes trying to re-schedule my appointment over the phone with no luck. I called the general number and the person told me to call the next day as she only make appointments for Dr. Raj certain days a week. We do not have a luxury of spending more than 10 minutes waiting for new appointments. All the good that she does with her patients, the administrative staff undoes with their customer service.

Dr. Raj is the best! She is a brilliant and caring oncologist I had been misdiagnosed by my primary physician. It wasnt until after 4 visits and 18 months later from when I had been first seen by the primary, I was seen by another doctor and immediately referred to Dr. Raj. It has now been a year--and I am so grateful for her care, her expertise and her incredible support and encouragement. I have stage 4 metastatic cancer, but under her care, my numbers have decreased substantially, and several tumors have reduced in size and/or disappeared. And if you met me, you wouldnt for a moment think I was ill at all!

I have been a patient of Dr. Raj for over 15 years and feel fortunate to call her my doctor because of her knowledge in medicine, professionalism and the guiniune care she has shown me. Also, her staff members or administration teams are also very hard working and delegated to the patients in their care. Conversely, I trust Dr. Raj and her team with my life and this is justification of how much I believe in her practice and believe in her as my doctor!

Writing this review is so unfortunate because the thorough work and care of Dr. Chitra displays appropriate bedside manner and care; however, the administrative personnel completely diminishes the quality of this practice. In the past few months that my mother has been seeing Dr. Chitra, she has experienced insufficiently unprofessional service from the administrative staff members. The first mishap occurred when the incompetent administrative staff incorrectly billed the wrong codes, which resulted in an over-billed amount. When the incompetent, administrative staff members were confronted about the mishap, they further demonstrated their inadequacy through not possessing the sufficient competencies to correct the situation. When she returned for a follow-up to check the status of her blood work, Mimi rudely informed her that her results had not come in. Then, immediately following, the nurse called to notify her that her results ACTUALLY WERE AVAILABLE. The nurse Jackie was also rude and displayed indifference in explaining her results, and when she had Mimi supply my mothers credentials for the online portal, she once again, exhibited rudeness. We are entirely fed up and disgusted with the continued level of unprofessionalism and incompetence from these administrative staff members. Doctors need to understand the significance of hiring competently, professional administrative workers, who are caring and able to execute sufficient customer service, as they represent the image of the practice and can tremendously contribute to patient turnover, and patients are the reason why these ignorant individuals even have employment. This is ridiculous. I am appalled that Dr. Chitra has these unequipped, incompetent employees at the forefront of her practice. Moving forward, my mother will make it a duty to not revisit this awfully, unprofessional practice full of stupid incompetent front desk individuals.

LOVE this doctor so much! Have been seeing her for years. I do wish it wasnt such a long wait to see her or her wonderful NP, but still totally worth it. Excellent bedside manner.

Receptionist and the guy who draws blood is more friendly than any other person in the practice. Everyone else has zero beside manners. There is no respect for your time.Even if you arrive 15 or 30 mins before your appt time, you will always end up waiting 45 mins to 1 hr to see Dr Raj. PA is no different. The older lady (sont know her name as there was no name tag) who takes vitals was another story. After she took my vitals and left me in the room for 30 mins, she came back to give me gown to change into, I asked her how long before doc comes in she shrugged her shoulders and said no idea. Mind you I had been waiting for Dr. RAJ for 1 hr at this time. Also the room I was in didnt have a wall but a divider separating next room. I could clearly hear what the next patient was going through and his treatment plan.!!!Dont come to this practice. Find someone else who has actual bed side manners, values your time and actually cares about your treatment while you are fighting this disease.
