The office doesnt care patient at all. I would not go there ever again

Dr. Donmez and her entire team are beyond compare with their welcoming approach to follow up phone calls just to check on me. I’ve recommended her to 3 of her current patients and believe her team’s compassion and knowledge are far superior to many other offices where I felt unheard and invisible.

Dr. Donmez is an amazing physician she saved my life many years ago and still take excellent care of me I am so blessed to have her as my doctor

Dr. Donmez is very knowledgeable and one of the best doctors I know her office staff is always nice and very helpful.

Simply put, shes amazing! She truly cares about her patients and takes the time to get to know them. Her office staff are very friendly and kind and well organized. I highly recommend her if youre looking for a caring and great internist!

This place is the worst for new patient. When you are scheduling an appointment they are never on time and they always calling you two to three hours after your scheduled time. Not only are all their staff not speaking English they dont really care about how you feel or which help you need. I will definitely not recommend this place to people that want to feel good and stay in good health. Go somewhere else where people care about you and care about your life.

I have been going to Dr. Donmezs office for over 15 years and have not had a complaint with them. The staff at the practice are amazing I do not think Ill ever change them. I have recommended them to my friends and family.Best Doctor in VA-MD- DC...

Be patience and be prepare to wait and then youll receive the care and attention of the highest order. This isnt a K street operation-this is old school and I love and trust Dr. Donmez and appreciate her staff and their attentive care...yes its a little chaotic at times but thats because she CARES for her patients. I first visited Dr. Donmez this year after my eye doctor recommended her to me.She has a busy office, but once you are in her exam room, she provides you with the highest level of care. She went over my test results one by one and explained each and every one of the categories that I had questions about. She is very thorough and detail oriented. I left the office feeling well informed about my physical health. Thank you to Dr. Donmez and her wonderful staff.

I always visit her no matter what is my issue and she always gets me better and explains me how the issue happened/developed. Highly recommended.

Hi Everyone,First of all, Dr. Donmez is sincerely one of the best doctors that I have ever been treated by. Very caring and detail oriented. She listens your problems and/or complaints very carefully. She takes her time on each and every patient just to make sure and goes extra mile to get to the bottom of the problem that her patients have. She is very friendly and sincere so youll always feel comfortable to talk to her. Her knowledge in medicine is impressive. You visit her once then youll be a regular and I promise you that.By the way, that is very unfair to her that I have seen a couple of negative comments! It seems like some people are mixing up her skills in medicine as a great doctor and some nurses who works at the clinic! Yes, I myself had a bad experience with one of the nurses in the past but she is not there anymore. That means that because of some unprofessional and ignorant people Dr. Donmez and good people who works in her clinic should not be punished. That is really unfair to Dr. Donmez, Mrs. Sultan and others. Mrs. Sultan is also very sweet and caring toward patients. She is always on top of almost everything there and she makes sure nothing should go wrong. They are just lovely people and best at fixing patients. Absolutly top shelf care. The staff are professional and Dr. Donmez takes the time to listen to you and is thorough in her examination.Couldnt be more satisfied.

Dr. Donmez herself is a wonderful, amazing and fantastic doctor. She is lovely and caring as a person and very professional and knowledgeable as a doctor. She often gives out her cell phone number and email and can be contacted outside of business hours for emergencies which is always helpful. Unfortunately, while I rate HER very highly, I have few positive things to say about the rest of her practice.While I do consider myself a very patient person I find my patience tested at almost every single office visit. if you choose Dr. Donmez as your primary care physician you need to be aware that at each office visit, even a simple one involving blood being drawn for a blood test and no follow up visit afterwards, you will probably be waiting for at least an hour and a half or possibly more. Every time I go to see her, even when Im early for my appointments there are at least 2 to 3 other patients waiting in the waiting room and the wait time is at least an hour, many times more than that. And thats just to get into the examining room! While Im there quite often Ill be waiting another 20 minutes or so. While shes in the appointment she IS quite attentive and takes her time which is wonderful but then afterwards Im quite often left waiting again at the front counter in order to check out.The front office staff is brusque and not very pleasant, Sultana her assistant is lovely but quite often overworked and overwhelmed and doesnt always seem to be so sure about what she should be doing. Im to the point where I dread making any visit to see Dr. Donmez because I know between driving, waiting and the actual visit it will take up at least half of my day. Plus she likes to hold my regular prescriptions hostage until Ive made an appointment to see her.

Dr. Donmez is the most caring, knowledgable doctor Ive ever have. She even takes calls after hours and answers e-mails from patients.However, she has the most disorganized staff ever. Sometimes, youll leave messages and you wont hear back. Your wait time is a long time unless you schedule first thing in the morning (which is what I always do now). The staff also submits claims to your insurance months after you visit. Id highly recommend using Dr. Donmez as your primary care doctor, but make sure you take the earliest appointment in the day.

Dr. Donmez herself is amazing and almost always gets the diagnosis right. Her professionalism and thoroughness are the reasons Im giving her practice 2 stars.Sultan is a sweetheart, very welcoming and knowledgeable. She seems to work with Dr. Donmez and with patients very well, although she can be overworked sometimes. Waiting 1.5-2 hours for blood tests while fasting in the morning isnt a pleasant experience, particularly when you have somewhere to go afterwards.The receptionist (Zulaikha?) is one of the most awful people I met in my entire life. She is unprofessional, unwelcoming, verbally aggressive towards patients and other staff, impatient, and all around mean, even hateful. I know her job can be very stressful, especially given how popular and busy Dr. Donmez is, but if she cant handle such a job, there are others who can! She ALWAYS puts callers on hold for long periods of time, even when the doctor is out of the country and there are no patients in the office! She frequently says shell call back or have the doctor call back, but it never happens. She also takes your info and tells you shell ask the doctor and get back to you, but never does. I called several times at different occasions outside business hours and left messages at the main line and at the emergency line, but no one got back to me!In general, the way this practice does business is unsustainable and eventually pushes patients away. There seems to be no limit to new patients taken in, despite the difficulty getting appointments even for existing patients. There were 4-5 occasions when I was not able to see Dr. Donmez either because she was fully booked for many days or she was out of the country with no replacement, no partner, and no proper information about who to go to. One or two times when my condition was urgent, I was told to show up and wait until she was done with all scheduled appointments to be squeezed after, This is a 2-3 hour wait, so be sure you have all day when you are very sick and almost passing out in the office while waiting!

She is not a professional, she doesnt want to accept my wife as a patient because of she is late. If you dont want patient dont call on the phone and tell us , dont take our times.. Almost past 1hour, my wife is still waiting in her room.
