Our son was referred to this office by his pediatrician based on a concern that we expressed during his physical. This was our first visit and when we arrived, the staff was courteous and polite. When we were called back, we spent more time waiting in the room than the actual visit with the PA. She was also polite and friendly, but I felt rushed and although I had presented our concerns for the visit, she was sending us out the door without addressing the main reason why we were there. She took a quick look at him and gave us a vague diagnosis, some prescriptions later sent us out the door. I will be looking for a second opinion with a pediatric office that has a bit more experience with children.

Washington Dermatology is a large practice and able to schedule clients in flexible ways - in terms of day/time and place. Staff we have engaged are professional and friendly. Kelly Clare, PA is the usual professional we see. She’s personable, asks the right questions, listens to the client, and focuses on practical and sensible next steps.

This place always deserves a 5 star! Always runs like a Chic-Fil-a drive thru. This is my favorite doctor appointment because I know that I get the best care from my doctor and her staff, I recommend them to all my family and friends.

Whole time the female doctor made me start to think I’m crazy but I’m not. My issue was just hard to deal with and I believe she rushes too much that’s why I like the Onley location better. I asked her to look closely maybe they don’t know how to deal with people if color here. She said if she could see it she would.Another doctor saw my issue at the ER.Update I went to see another one here. If you guys can’t help me with my situation just say that instead of lying about when my issue will clear up. At first it’s after two weeks now it’s three more weeks it’s like no one cares!No one cares about my issue and I been coming here suffering.

I give you 5 stars. I never have to wait for a long time, the people at the check in are pleasant and, also, I never seem to have to wait for the doctor.

To be super honest, I loved the way the practice operated as far as COVID-19 protocols. I felt like everything was as sanitary as possible and as efficient as possible. As always, the visit was quick and the staff were friendly.

A great place for your skin care needs, I have eczema, and was given a cream and instructions on how to keep it from coming back. Very polite staff, professional, and prompt service, they follow Covid-19 protocols and make you feel safe. I also had a minor surgery done there, it was a good experience considering I had to be cut open. I definitely recommend this business.

This practice has everything working smoothly during the pandemic. I never sat down, during my entire visit, except to take off (and put back on) my clothes. I walked into the waiting room was met by someone who took my temperature and then I paid my co-pay. Before I could sit down in the waiting room, I was called back to the exam room (I was there for my bi-annual skin check since I am prone to Basal Skin Cancer). The staff who escorted me provided me a gown and left the room. I changed into the gown and was about to put the waist belt from the gown around me, when the Dr. knocked on the door. He did his exam (freezing two areas of concern) and that was it. I changed back into my clothes, went to the exit where I made another appointment for 6 months out, and left through another exit. I felt extremely safe the entire time. Even before the pandemic, this practice was always very efficient at getting me in and out. Highly recommend them!

I consulted Advanced Dermatology concerning a problem I had. This was done by video conferencing with one of the resident dermatologist who was extremely professional, knowledgable & thorough. He prescribed a treatment that worked in just a few days. I would highly recommend Advanced Dermatology to anyone seeking treatment to put these first on their list.

The PA I saw and the staff were very polite and attentive. However, I went in to have several moles frozen off or removed. Three weeks later they are all still there. Very disappointed.

I was extremely surprised my boyfriend’s visit with the Dr. Connola was only 2 minutes.It took more time of the doctor looking at a pictures on Google than to answer his questions.The referral only stated concerns regarding skin mole but there were other skin concerns too. The doctor reported he could not address other concerns because it was not written on the referral. I’m not sure if that’s accurate or not. But if it is, please make sure to review your referral and make sure it has all the concerns prior to booking appointments.

On my annual checkup I asked about a cyst on my face. I was told to make an appointment with the PA to get it taken care of. I made that appointment and paid a 435 co-pay only to be told that is cosmetic surgery that insurance doesn’t cover and it would be $250 out of pocket to get it done. Why wasn’t I told that upfront when I asked about it. All the inconvenience of going there for an appointment and paying $35 to be told it isn’t covered. Not happy.

Dr. Colonna has no bedside manner and after paying 2 $50 co-pays said he couldnt help me and told me to go to someone else with no advice on who to go to. I went to another dermatologist who was able to help me.

Ive been coming to dr jay barnett for probably 30 years. dr barnett is great along with dr colona.i do wish the online scheduling system would be improved. the navigation to schedule a local maryland appointment is confusing.

Been coming here for years. The office is run efficiently and they have taken proper precautionary steps to accommodate Caronavirus. Only criticism is that time spent with with doctor is kept to minimum and can at times seem rushed.

My experiences have been with Dr. Todd Colonna, at the Rockville location. Both Dr. Colonna and the staff are A+. I was, of course, existentially worried about a new growth on my skin. It was not one mole gone rogue; it was big and bad. At the near immediate appointment, Dr. Colonna said it looked like a BCC to him (but that a biopsy is the true test). He was correct. Another near immediate appointment, and it was excised (removed with surgery) by Dr. Colonna. This procedure was fast and painless. Not even one Tylenol taken. Dr. Colonna knows his stuff, and has been pleasant and informative. Again, the staff is Aces too. Im not hoping for more skin cancer; Im hoping Doc Colonna dont retire. Cheers

I booked an appointment for same day via ZocDoc. Was super easy. I did call the office because I wanted to confirm they received my appointment. The receptionist could have been a bit more friendly. Seemed kinda cold and unconcerning. Once I got to the office check in was easy enough. Didn’t have to wait too long before being called back. Once there I was seen by the Physicians Assistant. I don’t recall her name but she was very professional, had terrific bedside manners and was very thorough. I received medications which she sent over to my pharmacy. All in all very positive experience. I would use them again and recommend to friends and family.

The office is conveniently located just off the interstate. I was able to get an appointment on short notice. There was almost no wait in the waiting room.The doctor addressed my issue effectively and efficiently along with explaining the followup process.All and all, it was a good visit.

They have incredibly rigorous safety protocols, and still maintain the same warm professionalism I’ve always experienced from them.

Kelli Clair - Physician Assistant - makes what can be an awkward full-body skin check a relatively stressless experience. Ive seen her for at least 3 years now, and she has treated a few anomalies w/care. One front office assistant was incredibly helpful, including making an additional call to an office about an out-dated referral and letting them know an easier way of complying w/requirements. I will definitely return for my yearly checkups!

I generally don’t write reviews. But... I visited office and everything went like Clockwork. I’m a contractor and my time really is $, my $. I was In and out, Dr. was very thorough and not rushing, Covid safe, no waiting, Dr. Clair was great.

Dr. Kelley Redbord deserves 6 stars. She is the most thorough, caring medical professional I have ever encountered. If, however, I was no longer able to schedule appointments with her, I would consider looking for another practice.

Amazing staff and doctor! I had my appointments with Dr. Pollicino and she is wonderful! I first had an appointment via telehealth and Dr. Pollicino explained everything perfectly and thoroughly. I had previously gone to another dermatologist but they kind of just gave me my prescription and that’s it. I didn’t feel like I could ask questions and my appointments always felt rushed. Thankfully everyone at advanced dermatology made me feel very welcomed! Would definitely recommend!

I was extremely happy to find this practice. I had been very disappointed by the first dermatology group I found when I relocated here. The doctor was abrasive and the staff, while nice, didnt follow up on my health care needs without many reminders. My experience at GWD was great! Kelli, the PA that saw me was wonderful ,as was the staff. They told me things that I would need to do, and what they would do, and they did it. I highly recommend this practice!

Efficient, easy, and Kelli the PA was great. She even got the doctor to do an impromptu Botox injection without a wait. Great practice - honest and realistic.

I had a very pleasant visit with the Doctor at this location. My only recommendation would be to not push a particular pharmacy on your patients even if you do not benefit from the relationship. I went to the one they recommended with assurances that my insurance would be accepted and it was not. Ultimately not a big deal. Just a tiny hassle ;). Everyone in the staff was friendly and very polite. I recommend going here!!!!

If you’re a person of color I ABSOLUTELY do NOT recommend greater Washington dermatology. The front desk receptionist named Anna or Ana is the most rude, disrespectful, arrogant, obnoxious, vile human I have ever had the misfortune of meeting. Ana must be racist. Ana spoke to all the people of color with a disparaging and condescending tone, but treated all the white people very well. If you’re white you’ll be fine, but if you are a person of color you will NOT get quality care at Greater Washington Dermatology. I did not and will NEVER spend any money at this horrible institution and recommend you do not as well. At least until they fire Anna and get a new receptionist that actually cares about patients and is hospitable. 0/10 rating. -10/10 actually.

The doctor was very pleasant but did not offer any samples of a topical cover for facial spots.

What I thought might be a quick removal turned into a much longer event. Staff was very encouraging and helpful. The doctor followed up with me regularly afterwards to check on progress.

The staff is very friendly and helpful! However this dermatology group has two offices which apparently dont share resources. My referral went to one office and my appointment was made for the other office and when I showed up I had to call my PCM to get another referral faxed over. I also didnt get seen until 30 mins after my appointment. The doc was attentive and quick though. Once I got into a room I was only there for 15 mins.

Was such a pleasant experience. Staff was very nice and doctor was very nice. Came there for a mole removal cause i wasnt feeling comfortable about one i had. Im not a regular patient or hoping not to be.Waited a little bit but not too long. The dr came and literally just took the mole right off in less than 5 seconds after i told him my concerns. Told me they would call in 10 days with the results.I ended up getting a call in less than 10 days and it was good news. Nothing was wrong. I would come back here for my dermatology needs if i ever would need in the future.

Getting an appointment was easy. The office personnel were very efficient.

Before the office opened in the morning I was able to use the online system to make a same day appointment. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful and I was seen on time. Dr. Lauren Pollicino was amazing. She made a quick but thorough diagnosis for two different issues as well as a full body check. I never felt rushed and had all of my questions answered. I even convicned my husband to make an appointment the next month for his checkup.

Absolutely horrible. I came in eith a massive nodule and the doctor told me to just go home and wait to pop it. It became a large, very painful infection that I had to go to a dofferent dermatologist who actually gave me ntibiotics and helped. Completely useless doctors that are just trying to take your money

I had an appointment scheduled at 10:50 and I was advised to show up at around 10:30 since it was my first visit. thats what I did. but unfortunately, they kept me waiting for longer than an hour even though I was under a tremendous amount of pain and could not even sit! no bothered to apologize or try to give me a reason. when I complained, I kept hearing things like I think you will be called nextanother thing I found troublesome (this is very important to me, at least). I could clearly feel I was a customer not a patient. their stuff was super diligent on letting me know that if my insurance refuses to pay or if the service offered was not covered, I will have to pay that out of pocket.... I was told that over the phone, and then verbally when I got to the office, and again I had to sign in a document in this context.on a good note, the nurse that tool care of me was nice and tried to manage the stress I was under

Dr Colletta is great! I have some ups and downs with some of the technicians, but once you find one that is good, ask to have them on going and they will allow that. I have also had some difficulties getting insurance to approve some procedures, but I can always count on the office taking care of those issues. I have yet to need to call my insurance company on behalf of them, they take care of it all for me which reduces a lot of stress for me. I would definitely recommend this practice. The front desk staff is always nice to me as well.

Be CAREFUL and AWARE of the charges that you need to pay out of the pocket. They said they charge upfront and asked me pay 71$ for the visit. They had already taken my insurance details. When asked if they charged the insurance and got the approval. They said yes and asked me to pay the co-pay which was 20% coming to 71$ after paying the amount I asked for a detailed bill, looking at that I could clearly see I was CHEATED, bill was for 125$ and some discount of 50$ and rest is on me. They didn’t even charge the insurance.I have the bill as a proof for their cheating...
