The staff is so great and because I had an emergency and they were able to get me into the office immediately. I usually pick my dentist based on referrals from friends and family. I picked this dental practice after being disappointed in a referral I had received. Best choice ever! Im very happy with my experience with Dr. Schneider and the staff. Theyre always caring and professional.

DO NOT GO HERE!! THEIR CONDUCT IS UNETHICAL AND THE EMPLOYEE HIGH PRESSURE SALES TACTICS. 😡 If you want to buy more services that you’re not sure you need, this is your place!! There behavior is embarrassing, once I arrived for an appointment and was asked to go into a PRIVATE room where I felt interrogated about paying my bill or setting up a payment plan. It was so humiliating and unnecessary. Also, be weary of any quoted price because it will be much higher with the justification that your insurance didn’t cover as much as they thought or your referral provider took all the insurance money. This seemingly unethical referral practice provides them the opportunity to overcharge you!!! I paid around $5,000 out of pocket for my root canals and crowns, work is not guaranteed. Also, I was sent to collections for $220.51. It dropped my credit score by 35 points! THIS PRACTICE IS ON IT FOR THE MONEY AND ONLY THE MONEY!!!

I have been treated by Innovative Dentistry for over a decade. I cannot say enough wonderful things about them. They actually care about their patients and build relationships with us. I am a terrible gadget and not Shadnam and Dr. Schneider remember and help me through everything. Dr. Schneider eases my anxiety every visit. Again, Innovative Dentistry is fantastic!!!!

This place lives up to its name. I was fascinated by all of their technology that captured photos of my teeth to allow them to have a baseline and also show me previews of what the future can look like!As a first-time patient, I was beyond satisfied, beyond the technology. The people are very friendly and they truly listen to you. They are not like most places where the staff rush through the service and want to kick you out as soon as they can. From the front desk support to the people in the back, this place is filled with friendly, passionate people.This place helped me feel excited about my teeth and the future I can have with a better smile overall through understanding all the steps required to maintain it! I realize they want to make sure people remember their appointment but seriously an email, text, and phone call (yes all three) a week before your Appointment then again the day before, then again two hours before. Its overkill and honestly annoying. Then there are always billing mistakes. Between my spouse and I, weve spent quite a bit of time having to go over their invoices to point out mistakes, then surprise two years later get a bill for something they forgot to charge , then after review they find it was a mistake. Ok everyone is human and they are always very nice about it but that cost them some stars.The final negative is that again, I only go here because I like my dentist and hygienist so when I arrive at the appointment and SURPRISE your dentist is out today so youre seeing someone else, is not ok. Let me know shes out and Ill re schedule dont just throw me with someone else. He was nice and everything but not the point. This is putting profit before the patient and I cant stand that.Their covid procedures are great and the young lady who brought me in was awesome. I like the dentists there a lot. But, my story is a cautionary tale on Covid and dental service. As someone who has already invested a lot of money in dental care, i feel like i should be able to receive care from a specialist who frequently tests for coronavirus. Today, i cut short an appt after finding out that a dentist has not tested for coronavirus recently. He says he got vaccinated. That however does not mean he cannot still get infected and transmit to another. No amount of safety protocol, however extensive, replaces the importance of frequent testing as a frontline professional. His inoculation protects HIM from severe illness but still leaves ME exposed to infection. Now, i understand that tests are limited. But, what added to the anxiety was a form i was asked to sign that includeswavering any rights to hold the business accountable if i should be infected on site. So, lot of $ already commited, no frequent front line testing and signing away rights to hold business accountable if i get infected by a professional who might still get infected, vaccinated or not. I was told that my decision to scrap the visit means no appts available until next year. Until i am vaccinated, that is fine by me. I left feeling terrible that i had made them go through all that work to prep...for nothing. But then i realized, i have every right to care if the person working inches away from my face, double masked or not, gets tested. It is a high risk environment. They were lucky to get vaccinated while i have to wait maybe until summer for a vaccine. But, again, a a vaccinated person can still get infected, just likely avoids a trip to the hospital. My turn at a shot is still months away. So, working with someone in close proximity who has not at least been recently tested and then being required to sign a covid waiver on top of it... was upsetting.

Hygienists, dentists, and front desk staff all give careful attention to their clients. Infection control protocols were excellent. They use the latest technology to give clients the best care. I highly recommend Innovative Dentistry of Rockville.

They performed above and beyond attention to the CDC precautions. They opened the door for me, took my temperature, sanitized my hands, removed all public access points (coffee, purse hook, sunglasses), and pay at the counter. I felt very comfortable being at their office as opposed to other doctor offices.

The DDS team is on point. Uses great technology. They are kind and sensitive to your needs. Friendly and professional. Good communicators. Addresses questions patiently and thoroughly. Efficient practices.Front desk - also friendly, professional and helpful.Business office/billing at times have made errors, but responded well when pointed out. At times have had to seek additional paperwork to meet insurance needs.However, it should be noted we can tell they are working to improve this aspect of the practice.Overall I would not have any hesitation to recommend this practice to a friend.

I have been going to Innovative Dentistry of Rockville for almost ten years now. I was never big on going to the dentist and my first few visits showed. But over the years, Dr. Schneider has been terrific in working with me and getting me the proper care that I needed. Several years ago she recommended Invisalign and now my teeth are as straight as can be and I haven’t had any cavities in years. The staff is super-professional and courteous and I have never had a problem with scheduling or having to reschedule appointments. I’m hoping to bring my kids here soon as well! Highly recommend these folks.

I’ve chosen this practice because of the convenience location and because I had two bad teeth that needed extraction. I knew very little about this practice and was very surprised with everything about it. From the moment I walked in and all the Covid-19 measures taken all the way to the extraction. Dr. Sanjar Khodjaev is a miracle worker!!! I’ve never in my life experienced such attention to detail and the professionalism of a doctor! He took his time to guide me through the process. And don’t let his young face fool you, this doctor has a lot of experience under his belt. I absolutely did not feel anything! From the injection all the way through the extraction and even after. Bleeding stopped few hours after the extraction and I had absolutely no swelling or pain after anesthesia was gone. I’m just amazed how skilled this doctor is and I’m highly recommending him if you need any extractions done! His assistant did an amazing job as well! I’m grateful for their help!

Dr. Schneider is simply fantastic. I was a patient previously but switch to a closer dentist when I moved which is a decision that I regret. After experiencing issues with the new dentist I called Innovative Dentistry, explained the pain I was in and they were able to see me the same day! I highly recommend this dental office.Chipped my tooth the night before, showed up at Innovative Dentistry of Rockville right when they opened at 7 am. They were so kind and so helpful and understanding. I didn’t even wait 10 minutes before being taken back to get seen. Dr. Schneider was amazing! Perfectionist and so kind. I will absolutely be returning for regular appointments. They really care about you and dental emergencies that can arise.

I started seeing Dr. Schneider when her office was in the old White Flint Mall. She was knowledgeable, thorough, and super friendly. I was so impressed that I began to see her on a regular basis. I also recommended Dr. Schneider to my friends and family and they became regular patients too. Two years ago I moved 15 miles away from her current office, but I continue to see her because I trust her and I have never had a bad experience with any procedure. And, then there’s a fantastic hygienist at the office, Shabnam, who I also see for regular cleanings. I highly recommend Innovative Dentistry of Rockville. Dr. Schneider is awesome!!

Estimated the problems wrong, gave huge estimates for problems other dentist said I dont even have, and solved with filling/ root canal at worst. Billing problems.

Dr. Schneider is literally the best dentist I have ever seen in my entire life. The dental hygienists I have seen have also been spectacular. They care about me, care about my comfort, and do everything possible to make sure I have a good experience. I’ve been seeing Dr Schneider for 10+ years now and have had everything from regular cleanings to serious work done and the end results have always been positive. Recently I had some cosmetic work done for my wedding and the results were spectacular. I have never felt more confident with such a great smile.

My experience up until today was great. Back in February I was given a treatment plan of $6,000 out of pocket for two dental implants extra. Well I’ve paid up to date $5,100. I was told on my last visit that I owe $2,400 total. I paid $1,500 of that $2,400. Today at my visit, I was charged for the entire procedure knowing that I haven’t had the entire procedure completed, I STILL OWE $3,000. How does that add up? They gave me a four visit treatment plan, I’ve had 2-3 visits of them thus far. They did NOT honor my treatment plan. They are extremely expensive and will not honor your treatment plan you agreed with from the beginning. Wish I could rate them a negative.

Today, January 29, 2020, was my first visit at Innovation Dentistry of Rockville. I was very impressed with the Hygienist as well as the Dentist. The Hygienist, Ms. Shabnom, she was very very thorough, informative, and sensitive to my needs. She was great!!!The Dentist, Dr. Terry Lyles II was also very informative, caring, and explained things that needed to be taken care of and how he would go about assisting me so I would have a healthy mouth and nice smile. He too was great!!! So happy I went there!

Friendliest dentist office we have ever gone to. Everything is clearly explain, costs are disclosed upfront and flexibility is great. Although one of us is very afraid of dental offices, we have found that this isn’t a issue when visiting Dr. Schneider.

Staff is friendly, accommodating, and professional.. we love Dr. Caldwell, having extreme anxiety and in need of sedation.. its is the perfect place! Highly recommend the practice! They take insurance and make the process easy!

The work done on me was explained to me in detail and quite helpful in making me understand what I need to be doing on my own unsupervised. I am always made to feel very welcome and at home. Their services are invaluable

Dental hygienist said teeth were great and then one of the dentist who is a partner wanted to fix over 15 teeth at a price of almost 4000 dollars. The dental hygienist turned white as a ghost and was embarrassed. Went to another local dentist and needed to fix one tooth only. Years later and we still get text messages from their firm promoting their services and all other teeth are great. I understand dental school is expensive but don’t treat your patients like an ATM.

1) overcharged me by 23% compared to initial estimate. Charged twice for some items.2) When you get an estimate, ask to go in details for every point in the list. They dont do it. They just give you the list of procedures and ask to sign. It is not clear what procedures are about and how necessary they are. For example, by default they include cancer screening for $35, which is not covered by insurance and the price for this 30 seconds inspection is insane. If you didnt spot this thing in the list, then you will be charged extra $35.

The care and dental staff was great, however when it come to their billing and insurance department they where terrible. They made me pay money up front for the dental procedures my daughter had. They said that I did not own any money. A few weeks later I receive a bill stating that I owed them money! I ignored it because I had not seen an explanation of benefits from my insurance company. A few weeks passed and I got another bill stating that the balance was due as soon as possible. I called and told them that I had not seen my company process the claim. They said it took a long time for the insurance company to process the claim but that they were going to re-submit the claim. More weeks passed. My insurance company receives the claim and processes the claim the same day, sends my provider the check. It turns out I only had to pay a fraction of what I paid originally. I called them and ask for a reimbursement they say I have to wait a week for them to get the check. I call my insurance company and they say they mailed the check two weeks ago. Terrible, terrible terrible. Would not recommend this place to anyone because of this. It is a pity because the dentist and her staff are great. You need better people handling billing and insurance.

The dentists are good, BUT, their priority is to sell. They recommended retainers for both my kids and two orthodontists that we saw later agreed that they shouldnt have been used because they wouldnt have solved the issues that my sons had. The retainers were not harmful but they ended up costing us $2500, a complete waste of money.

I’ve been coming to innovative dentistry before it was know as innovative dentistry...somewhere in the neighborhood of 25 years plus ....that being said,...I’ve seen many people come and go , along with the stable of a few people that are still there from the pass...I’ve always have been happy with the service I’ve been reviewing, both then and now....I’m kinda spoiled and not trying to start going to a new dentist any time soon , or in the distance future,...keep up the good work...it’s greatly appreciated!!!

I had an examination by Dr. Lyles. The dentist and all staff were attentive courteous and professional. Dr. Lyles took the the time to explain his diagnosis and my options.

Horrible office, feels the forgot the are doctors and they try to make money. Trying to sell treatments not needed. I dont understand how people can do that- let alone doctors..We went to another dentist- only needed few fillings. Payed as we usually do. This office called a few days later saying they DID A MISTAKE WITH ESTIMATE! still insisted we need everything they suggested. Still the estimate was few thousands. We went to different dentist and payed the usual 35-65 per appointment.

We got a VERY high estimate (more the $10,000!!!). I complained to their office also called the insurance company to inform them . The office called a few days later saying they made a MISTAKE of few thousands, still it was very high. Of course we couldnt trust any more, went to a different dentist-- got the usual 30-40 $ work done. I felt like they try to scam, also according to other reviews, they are doing same mistakes for years . Be careful they also dont know what insurance will cover for you or not, they wont check what you already did that fiscal year. Had a big mess thanks to that.

The staff had no idea what they were doing they cleaned my teeth & I woke up w/blood clots & she didnt want 2 see me. She replaced a crown that didnt need 2 b replaced food gets stuck all the time!
