I dont often bother to post reviews, but for the last few months I have been extremely impressed with the service provided by AJ Hyde at security services Federal credit Union. She helped me get my first non-secured credit card in 15 years. I have been so particular in the way that I use my money and in the way that I run my accounts, it is amazing how understanding and helpful she has been. I went in yesterday to address some charges on my account that I had not authorized, and at first glance I did not see her. So I hesitantly went to another associate, Ashley Matthews. I was pleasantly surprised at how equally understanding and helpful she was, as this is not been my historic banking experiences other institutions. She helped me get my accounts back in order and cancel charges that were not authorized. I went home to get my credit card that they were charged on, and came back today to cancel that card and get a new one reissued. AJ picked up exactly where Ashley had left off, canceled my card, and reissued me a new one. She also helped me finish the disputes for the charges that Ashley had started. In short this team is amazing and it is worth the extra drive for me to make sure that these two are the ones that help me with my financial future. Thank you, BH

I absolutely love the staff at SSFCU. I consider them friends because of the way they treat me. These guys truly do care about me as a person and as a member. This bank is an absolute joke. I took out a loan last year for car repair, but it showed up on my credit report as an emergency relief loan for covid. I call them asking why it was on my credit as a natural disaster relief fund, and they said all personal loans taken out from April to June will show up that way on your credit. They never told me that. It’s always something with this place. I’ve had my identity stolen from this bank 5 times in one year while I was banking there. Stay far away from this place!

I had a very tricky fraud situation involving a fake PayPal phishing hack. This bank and in particular Christian Martinez patiently assisted me to secure my accounts and open new ones with all the accompanying paperwork for password protection, etc. Nice location, pleasant staff, made an unpleasant situation better.

Christian was my extremely helpful and patient with me. He knew exactly what I needed to do to sign up on my bank account and secure my loan. He even called back to make sure I understood everything. Thank you. I would highly recommend him.

Christian at SSFCU in Riverton is by far one of the best credit union loan officers I have worked with. He made things very clear - sped up the process and at no point did I feel like we were in the dark on the info about the loan.

This is more of a review of the entire credit union, not this location in particular. Since the branches are drive thru only it makes it hard to use a branch.We had a heloc payment due dec 1st. We paid the amount due plus about 20 dollars on November 30th. This entire payment was applied to principal due to their mistake, which has been acknowledged by their support team. We were promised this would be remedied. Now 5 weeks later, a dozen calls to support, 3 promises from 3 different reps that this would be fixed and probably 10 or more hours on the phone, it is still not fixed and we have now gotten a late fee. We also have likely been reported to a credit bureau, as the last 2 times I called they routed me to the collections department because we were in default..At the end of the day, our payment needs to be corrected to show the payment being made and the remainder going to principal, which should be simple. Now I have to call again tomorrow and waste more of my time to try and get this fixed again. At this point I have 0 faith that they will ever get it right. Im frustrated beyond belief, their support has no idea what they are doing, and this isnt really something a branch can help with. Cant find a good place to review them as a whole, so pointing this at my local branch as a warning for people to avoid using them for a heloc, as it now feels like their low rate is a trap to get you in, then they intentionally mess up your account and raise your interest rate to make up for the low rate. Id also like to get paid for my wasted time, as Ive now spent 10+ hours during my normal work time to try and get this corrected. I cant keep taking time away from work to get their mistake fixed. I know it wont happen, but at this point I feel some type of restitution beyond just fixing it is deserved as this has been by far my worst experience with a bank or credit union in my entire life.Ive gotten to where Ive considered hiring a lawyer about this because its that bad. Please avoid at all costs if you can or you will likely regret it.

Everyone I have worked with at the Riverton Branch is amazing. However, Brooke has worked with me specifically for over 5 years. She is always so nice and helpful. I can’t picture myself ever banking anywhere else.

Riverton branch does not have good customer service . They are not trained to do so. The tellers do not smile and have no idea of communication. This branch ruined my credit and they are not willing to help. You will be treated like and idiot who supposedly did not make his payment even if you did. I made a payment in full and they said I needed to make another payment for interest. I was not told and they don’t care. They will not listen. Most people at this branch has no knowledge and they will ruin your credit. You have been warned.

Love the employees at the Riverton branch! Also like doing my banking online. Dinged one star because when calling to talk with someone, it can take forever. Faster just to go to the branch and deal with any problems.

Wowww! I just sat at the window at the Riverton Branch window for 30 MUNUTES! I was in the parking lot waiting for 10 minutes before they opened with my two year old in the back seat. They never turned on the green light for the drive through. The girl that helped me at the call window was so rude saying there is people in the lobby that they are helping first. Funny! I was parked there before any of them showed up! Im extremely disappointed. The girl was so rude that I just finally left at 9:20. Ill be taking my money out of that bank and closing out my accounts. Ill put my direct deposits at a bank that actually cares about their customers. Your ignorant employee just cost you a costomer. It shouldnt take you twenty minutes to help someone at the drive through window & you could just as easily ask the people in the lobby to wait because I was waiting patiently until home girl got a nasty attitude.

Why can I not reach an actual person to talk to about my account? I shouldnt have to wait 30+ minutes to get a rep. And why does the branch phone number go back to their automated service? What kind of customer service is that?!

I love this branch . I live in lehi and I go to the one in Riverton because they are the sweets and always there to help !!

BUT their customer service phone number is still the most horrible thing Ive ever experienced! When transferring from an external account, it takes 3 business days for the funds to become available! Yet the funds are withdrawn from the external account immediately.
