Dr Stone performed an hernia repair using laparoscopic. The pre and post surgery of Dr Stone and his team is second to none, they have an efficient team that makes the surgery process very smooth, from diagnoses to surgery, including dealing with insurance and other Drs. We had a simple question about increasing some of the prescribed medication after surgery. The after hours service was extremely unprofessional and would not allow us to speak with the doctor, telling us our only option was to go to an emergency room. We regret using this doctor for the procedure.

Dr Stone is by far the best surgeon for anyone with an upcoming complicated surgery. He is thorough and has a kind bedside manner. His office staff and coworkers are on top of things so there is no need for repeated calls to get answers. Overall, this was the best surgical experience of my life. I highly recommend him.

I am two months postop from getting a fair sized lipoma removed from my chest by Dr. Stone. I am a breastfeeding mother of two young babies and their majority caretaker. I was also only two months postpartum when I had surgery. Aside from Dr. Stones expert care in my physical well-being, he also catered to my emotional needs regarding surgery before, during, and after. My dealings with Dr. Stone and everyone on his staff put me at such ease with each part of this process- not a small feat to a mother in the throes of postpartum anxiety having to leave her babies. From understanding the details of my procedure, to scheduling, and insurance, it would be impossible to imagine a better experience. It says a great deal about a doctor/practice when the staff is genuinely happy and has a sincere heart to serve. Dr. Stone also prayed with me before taking me back to the OR and it was such an awesome thing to have before surgery. I was able to receive the exact care that fit the needs of myself and my family for which I am immensely grateful. Dr. Stone is currently monitoring my umbilical hernia and I couldnt be in better hands. This is definitely the surgeon for you!

Dr. Stone and the supporting nurses and staff were great. The hardest part was waiting the 3 to 4 weeks for surgery. The laparoscopic procedure for my umbilical hernia surgery went flawlessly. Minimal incisions. I was off of pain medication after 36 hours. With icing and Advil, I was moving pretty well after 3 to 4 days. Three weeks later and I feel 100%. I am grateful that Dr. Stone performed this surgery. HIGHLY RECOMMED!

When I found out I had 3 hernias I began my search for top hernia doctors in Dallas. Dr. Stones name was always at the top of the list. His reviews are outstanding and for good reason;he’s an outstanding surgeon.In my first visit he explained what a hernia is and the surgical options available to repair the hernias and which surgical option he feels is best for you.I chose the Laparoscopic. He made 2 incisions appropriately 1” in length and repaired all 3 hernias through those incisions.Before heading back for surgery He had prayer with us may not mean much to you but it did to me and my family. I had surgery at 9 am was home by 1pm at 5pm I was walking. The surgery was on Tuesday by Saturday I was walking 2 miles a day.I won’t tell you it was pain free the 1st week is tough and you have to make yourself get up and walk. My wife had to tie my shoes the first week because I couldn’t bend over far enough to do it but I believe the walking sped up my recovery. In my opinion if you’re looking for a Surgeon for hernia repair, you won’t find a better one than Dr.Stone
