This review is not about the doctors it is against the office people that they do not have any idea what to do. Walk in without any appointment because there is options for that. They walk me in to wait and I was there more that 50 min, just sitting and waiting for someone. No information. After 50 min just walk out and asked what is going on thinking that they forgot me. Their explanation was that all of the patients with appointments have priority. Perfectly understood but you have to speak up and explain what is going on. I am busy too and have staff to do to. If you explain to me in advance how long is gonna take I will be able to reschedule my plans too. Absolutely unacceptable for me. Totally unprofessional and selfish. You lost not only me like your patient, you lost all of my family too.

Dr.Albert is the most genuine doctor I have ever been to. He is easy to talk to and cares deeply for me and his other patients. He has a new PA Christopher was also caring and very easy to talk to. I’m glad I found a place I can trust and will not trade them for any doctor in the world!

This clinic was amazing and I highly recommend. From the front desk staff to the medical assistant all the way yo the amazing doctor. I had COVID and was in extreme pain. Their procedure was to remain in the car until someone comes to get you. I was a walk in and expected a wait time. I wait about 45-1 hour which was fine because all I wanted to do was sleep. The medical assistant was so kind and patient. She didn’t treat me like I was weird because I had COVID. Then the doctor didn’t even wear PPE gear, well of course he wore a mask, he touched my face and was super kind and patient as well. Soft spoken and very friendly. I’ve never had such a calming experience. I was in a ton of pain and needed to be in the presence of a physician who was gently and caring. I highly recommend! I wish I could give them 10 stars!!!!

Both providers are knowledgeable with years of experience. They listen intently to their patients and strive to provide the best plan of care. They are compassionate and prioritize the well-being of their patients. Others may complain about the wait time but that is a testament to how many people in the community seek their care. I DEFINITELY recommend Texas Medical Home for your entire family!

I am a black 72 year old woman that have been going there for over 15 yearsthey are like my family I wouldnt go anywhere else its always a wonderfulfeeling when you go there. They totally take very very good care of you and that is everyone at the clinic. Five stars is not enough they are much more.

I have been coming here to see Dr. Albert and Shannon for many years now and I absolutely love them. They always greet me kindly at the front desk. I see Shannon and she takes her time to listen to my concerns and never rush me. The nurses are very friendly and professional, especially Cynthia, I absolutely love her. Even after moving further, I don’t mind driving here to Texas medical Home, because how they make me feel here.

UPDATE/EDIT: I only received a call back after the office saw this review, and they asked me to change it/remove it. Not only this, but I went to the cardiologist they referred me to, and after doing several tests, he told me he saw NOTHING wrong or concerning about my heart and said it was perfectly healthy. Turns out I was misdiagnosed by the PA and the cardiologist even said that he wasn’t sure why she would even think I had any issues. Very disappointing and frustrating that I was put through this stressful situation for no reason.——I was hoping after my first visit with Dr. Albert in Feb. 2020, that we found a good family practice, however, after my last visit this month, I plan on switching to another provider. For some reason, they didnt let me see Dr. Albert (nor did they ask who I could/wanted to see) and I ended up seeing PA Shandolyn Story. After ONE HOUR in the waiting room, they finally called me back. I spent a total of 2.5+ hours here and most of that time was me waiting in an empty room. I was very disappointed in the feedback and lack of attention from the PA. She was in and out very quickly, and she mentioned twice that she would come back in to talk about x, y, and z, but every time, another staff member came in. I paid $75 for an ECG and they still have not sent it to me after Ive followed up 3 times in the past week and a half, not including when my husband called about the referral. It felt like she only wanted to throw medication at me and she barely talked through her diagnosis, but then didnt share any thoughts on the other concerns I had. They were also supposed to refer me to a cardiologist but only sent me to the receptionist to pay and didnt give me a contact or let me know how that was supposed to work. I had to call TWICE just to get that answer. It really doesnt seem like the staff and the PA care about their patients. I even had to ask for notes from the visit/diagnosis. And every time I called the front desk, they didnt have a clue about what was going on and acted like they didnt know what they were doing.

Dr Albert is Very professional and knowledgeable physicians, highly recommend.

My family and I have been to this clinic multiple times. We have seen both Dr.Albert and PA Shana. They have both been wonderful, have addressed our medical needs every time and gotten us on our way to feel better. Not to mention, no apt needed is always a plus.

I got there on time and the process for USCIS was pretty smooth. People working here are caring and friendly.My only complain is that I asked for another copy of my medical records and they said they only do one sealed copy. I am not sure why.

My daughter had to see the dr today to be referred to do her mammogram, but this office runs by wild animals and not professional enough to do their work on a critical matter. I have been telling her to switch to another dr. When they first canceled her appointment without even telling her the reason. This dr Office is only focused on making money rather than doing the right thing. Please people don’t go to this place save your life, money, and time.

This medical office & their medical providers are awesome. Both Dr. Albert and PA Story are very caring, their examinations are very thorough in order to get the right diagnosis. Follow ups are a must to ensure that the medications are working right for you. I do not like to be sick but when I am I know I will be taken care of at this clinic. Staff is very friendly as well and the technicians know what they are doing when they take your blood. I am always afraid of needles but I literally do not feel anything when they take my blood! Highly recommend this clinic, especially Dr. Albert and PA Story.

I always love coming to the doctor here. Dr. Albert is an amazing man. Cynthia at the front desk is so smart and helpful. I must say though that I miss my favorite medical assistant Cindy Alvarez. Please get her back. In closing the atmosphere and attitudes are always on point. I have a blast coming to Texas Medical Home!

Dr. Albert and Shana are both amazing! My family and I have been going to this clinic for over 12 years. They take wonderful care of us and really go the extra mile. I always try to make an appointment so I don’t have to wait, but I really appreciate that they never turn us away when we walk in without an appointment as well. I wish I could give 10 stars!

I came here for immigration physical examination. Professional nurses on document and insurance. I like the location tooOne star off for not on time. My appointment was supposed to be 11am-12pm. Actual time was 11:40am-1:10pm

Shana and Dr. Albert have always taken excellent care of me when Ive had to see them. They ask a multitude of questions to determine an accurate diagnosis, and provide compassionate care.

Very attentive nurses, very nice doctors all of them, they will answer any question in a way that you will understand, I have been bringing my mom, wife, son and daughter here for years and have never had a bad experience. It is a 45 minute drive from home but I refuse to go anywhere else. Highly recomend.

Great place. Staff is very kind and attentive. They take walk ins and make sure your insurance covers their services. I arrived there not too long before 5pm and they stayed open late for me. Dr. Albert is very friendly and made sure I was taken care of.

I hate this facility and everytime I have to deal with them. They are impatient with clients and cant be bother to explain anything or provide reasons. They also over billed me when it should have been covered by my insurance.

UPDATE 8/11/17: The PA misdiagnosed my husband for 2 years. We switched doctors and found out he has Hyperaldosteronism. Dont see her. Not thorough and lacks bedside manner.I see the doctor and my husband sees the PA. The doctor is good. The receptionists are horrible. They need to be FIRED. On our last visit, there were two receptionists literally arguing with one another. Dr. Albert.... Please look for better front desk staff.UPDATE 7/17: Do not see the PA. She told my hubby she would refill his much needed prescriptions for 90 days. She didnt tell him he needed to return in 3 weeks so he didnt make his next appointment. 60 days later and she denied his medication because he didnt come in.... Um... HELLO? How would he know he needed to come back? He didnt even switch meds so it wasnt like he was trying something new! Ive been to plenty of doctors who will let front desk know you need to schedule next appointment. Im scheduled for ALL my OBGYN appointments in advance so theres no reason she could not set this up for a hypertensive patient! We found somewhere else. I knew she wasnt good because she just wants to keep my husband on pills! She even told him not to exercise then complained when he gained some weight. Stupid!She NEVER follows up!!!!! My husband is NOT supposed to call and ask when he should return. Shandolyn Story.... you need to be more proactive about your patients and when you walk them to the front to leave, tell the receptionist to schedule out next appointment!!!! Refused to write referral for a diabetic specialist. Refuses to write any referral for anything, even insurance company has to fight him. Had 1 surgery for cataracts in one eye, had the second one scheduled for my other eye but he canceled it because I went around him and got a diabetic specialist through my insurance. I just dropped him as PCP due to his pettiness. I do not reccomend this doctor.

At the moment is for me a good clinic to take care of your children.
