I have been seeing Dr. Bannister for 20+ years and have very high regard for her professionalism, medical expertise and counsel. I have always found her staff to be pleasant and helpful. Appointment availability is better than with most doctors I see and time is found for more urgent requests. I have had several health issues the past 10 years and Dr. B has been a great help in navigating the many specialists and diagnosis’s. She is caring, thorough and takes enough time during my appointments to answer my questions. I have great confidence in her and am grateful for her care.

Dr. B is great! She has been my internist for nearly 10 years and she has always been there for me when I have needed her. A few months ago I accidentally came a day early for my appointment and when she found out I was there she very generously offered to squeeze me into her already full schedule. As an RN, I am aware of how busy doctors are some days and I am amazed at Dr. Bannisters efficiency and ability to provide holistic and appropriate care for her patients. I am very grateful to her for her competence in managing my medications and making sure that I feel comfortable with her approach to my care. She spends plenty of time one on one with patients and is always willing to get back to me with any questions that I may have between appointments. Her MA is also amazing and caring, they make you feel like you are part of the family!

Dr. Bannister has been my GP for 18+ years. She is also my husband’s primary care doctor. We have come to her for routine exams, ongoing health issues; colds, flu, mastitis, sinus infections, allergic reactions, thyroid issues, etc. She is consistently warm, professional, and concerned with our best outcomes. She listens and offers thoughtful, evidence-based diagnoses and treatments. A friend recommended Dr. Bannister so many years ago, and she said that it was nice to actually have a doctor willing to listen. This is how I feel, too. We are lucky to have her in our lives.

My husband and I have been patients in this same office with another doctor that is retiring. We asked to be switched to dr Bannister. After waiting over a week to hear if we were worthy to be taken into her practice we received a voice mail saying she couldn’t take any new patients. When returning the call and listening thru the phone prompts one of which is “is you want to be a new patient” press whatever. This lady doesn’t want a patent of this office for over 25 years and one who’s always paid their bills because we will soon be on Medicare. They of course denied this and I honestly don’t want a doctor to treat me that doesn’t want me as a patient. This is elder discrimination pure and simple. Just know if you are young she will gladly take you and your shinny insurance money but you will age one day (as will she) and we do not have a choice on insurance once you reach 65. I’ve never left any kind of negative review like this for any doctor but this is not right. I will find a new doctor. One that models good health, nutrition, kindness and delivers good health care I will use the rest of my life. Do not go to this doctor. Her staff is rude and you are just a dollar bill to them. Good riddance Dr Bannister and staff. I can do so much better.

This doctor discharged me as a patient for missing an appointment after multiple years as a patient, although no additional details and nothing in writing were ever provided to me, and cut off a medication that I relied on daily for over 2 years with no notice. When I called to say I had an appointment for a new patient exam but needed a refill to bridge the gap, Dr. Bannister told me to go to urgent care or the ER, and would not help me, even though there are significant side effects involved with going off of this medication abruptly. She is uncaring and has demonstrated a clear lack of compassion in the handling of this situation.

I have not big issues with Dr. Bannister. It is a typical doctor office. Sometimes hard to get an appointment. I dont have many health issues, so I havent had to deal with much outside of the routine.

Dr Bannister is practically family! My family has been seeing her for almost 20 years. She’s a great doctor, carefully watches over our health issues!
