Max is fantastic! With this whole pandemic I have found it really difficult to hold myself accountable to goals I set for myself. Since I discovered Max 2 months ago, I have already seen drastic changes in my strength and body. He has helped me start a fitness journey and stay committed to it. Even on the days where I dont feel motivated, I leave the gym feeling 10x better. He is super well organized and very professional. He is very knowledgeable and I would recommend anyone of any level to him!

I love training with Max! During covid it had been really hard to find the motivation to workout. Max has always been super organized anf professional compared to past trainers. I am always looking toward to come to the gym for an uplifting and motivational experience. As someone who just started lifting, Max has been very good at pushing me, but at the same time paced me so I dont burn out. After 6 weeks I can already see a big difference in my form and physical appearance, and its all thanks to Max!

My partner and I initially chose Max because we were looking for someone who could train both of us at the same time. We’ve stayed with Max for the past 9+ months because he created a fun and engaging workout experience. My initial goals were around just getting more fit, but Max was able to identify long term mobility issues that resulted from my scoliosis and help me achieve better flexibility and balance.Since COVID and shelter in place, Max has taken all the right steps to ensure we still had a safe space to exercise. He offered remote sessions, made sure to get regular testing, designed workouts to facilitate social distancing and encouraged the use of masks during the workout.Unfortunately, I’m relocating to LA and we can’t take Max with us, but it’s been an awesome experience overall.

I was searching a personal trainer and came across to Max. He is an astounding trainer. If you decide to lose weight, shape your body, stay healthy or something like that, Max is the right address for you. You will see the first results after 6 weeks if you work with him and do everything right. He gives everything you need, you just need to follow schedule. He will not be only your personal trainer but also he will be your good friend.Thank you Max!

Max has changed my life! Prior to meeting Max I had been wanting to get in shape and become healthier, but lacked the knowledge and consistency to truly effect a change. Max has been doing this for years and his deep expertise in fitness and overall health is apparent as soon as you meet him. Max worked with me to explain that seeing results requires lifestyle changes that go beyond training sessions with him, and provided the necessary education, guidance, and information (exercise materials, meal plans, etc.) for me to approach my health in a more holistic way that extends beyond Reboot Health and into other parts of my life such as healthier diet, consistent cardio, better sleep habits, etc.Having now spent ~1 year training with Max, I have lost a significant amount of weight and am faster, stronger, and with better stamina, but most importantly have more confidence knowing I am actively addressing one of the most important things in life--overall health and fitness. I have also suffered from severe and chronic back pain for most of my life, and this has led to difficulty working out, along with a number of other injuries. Max specializes in clients with similar issues, and has helped me to not only work around these injuries, but also directly address these issues through strength and flexibility training with proper form and steady improvements. As a result, my back is in a much better place and my knee is pain-free for the first time in years.Finally, Max makes working out fun! His positive attitude and interpersonal style have made it a pleasure to wake up early in the morning to go work out (something I hated doing prior to meeting Max). Hes got a great sense of humor and incorporates a supportive and encouraging style that is incredibly effective in helping me push past my limits, hit new milestones, and achieve my goals. Overall, training with Max has been game-changing for me and I would strongly recommend him to anyone looking to make a similar change in their life. Just be willing to be patient, because Max is the most desirable trainer in the Peninsula, which means he rarely has an open spot for new clients. But you might get lucky like I did =)

When searching for a personal trainer, my SO and I decided to try Max since he was one of the few to offer small group training. Three months in and I am still surprised he is able to come up with new exercises to incorporate into our weekly workouts to keep them lively. He designs the workouts based on our personal goals but also uses the fact that there are two of us to create engaging partner exercises.Max has shown that he has a wealth of knowledge when it comes to personal health and training that is only amassed from a passion for his work and several years of experience. He was able to spot the physical limitations of my SO’s hips and knees without us telling him and includes flexibility training in our workouts to help alleviate the pain and improve our range of motion. He also demonstrates all new exercises and stretches and clearly explains how they affect our body.Finally, Max makes working out in the morning actually enjoyable. When working out in the past, I have usually stuck to evenings since I feel groggy and less energetic in the morning. Max’s amiable personality and humor wake me up and make it feel like I am working out with a friend. From our experience and speaking with some of his clientele, I can tell Max really cares about his clients and does his best to help them succeed in reaching their health goals.

Max is awesome! I really enjoy the fact that hes so well rounded and knows so much about all aspects of health and exercise. I am not one of those people who enjoys working out, but Max makes it fun, and interesting, and pushes you to the limit of you capabilities. Now, a couple of months into it, Im doing stuff that I never thought Id be able to, which encourages me to come back, so I can see what else I can do. I also like that Max takes the time to explain the exercise, and answer all questions. Im one of those guys who needs to understand why Im doing what Im doing, and Max always takes the time to explain.

Max is by far the best trainer I have ever worked with (and Ive worked with a few). He leverages his knowledge, experience, and creativity to tailor workouts that suit your needs. He mixes up the workouts so that time in the gym is effective and fun, and he supports your goals with nutrition and lifestyle advice.In just a few months, I have gotten stronger, slimmer, and more flexible. And I am enjoying doing new things that I did not have any idea I could do. Max has a great personality and is an inspiring mentor. We have been going to Max since June 2015 and it has been an excellent experience. Three times a week seemed a big commitment at first but we now value each and every visit. Max is always positive and every session is different. Lots of core and balance but always done in a fun learning way. Max knows what he is doing with each individual. I am 67 and Maxs encouragement to improve what I do is very much appreciated. We feel very fortunate to have had a friend recommend Max. We would recommend him to anyone at any stage in physical development and training.

Max is the best trainer!He tailors the workout to meet your individual needs. He gives you all the tools to maximize your success, including workout tips and food tracking. Meal plans, great exercises, unique workouts, all while keeping an eye on your form to ensure safety.Maxs knowledge about nutrition is very helpful. Ive been training with Max for over four years and would gladly recommend him to anyone. Hes knowledgeable, places a high importance on stretching and form, and can accommodate various fitness levels and injuries. My husband, teenage son and I have been training with Max for just over 2 months. It has been a great experience and we are seeing results. Max has worked with us to set goals and keep us on track--patiently working with us on strength training, providing nutrition guidelines and home workout suggestions. My husband has lost almost 15 pounds and I have reached my weight loss goal. My son has not followed the nutrition suggestions, but he really likes working out with Max and is feeling much stronger. Max makes it fun for all of us--he is great at keeping us motivated with a variety of exercises. The workouts are challenging but never too hard or discouraging. Max has a great sense of humor and keeps us all smiling throughout. We are so grateful to have found Max--he is a great inspiration and in a very short time has had a huge impact on our health and fitness.

Working out with Max has been amazing! I was overweight, out of shape and chronically out of energy before I started training with him. After signing on with Max, I started to lose weight in the first two weeks. And then its been a steady weight loss after that. Proving that his program is working if you follow it. Ive been training with him for two and a half years now. Ive now lost a ton of weight and kept the weight off! Im also more in shape than Ive ever been in my life! Max puts a lot of energy and dedication into his clients workouts. He genuinely cares about your fitness health. And his enthusiasm makes you enthusiastic about your workouts too, session after session. I highly recommend Reboot Health.

I have been training with Max for two years now. I dont know of a better personal trainer out there. I started personal training about 12 years ago, so far I have not stayed with a single trainer, but ever since I met Max, I have been serious about my workouts, and I always look forward to training! I told this to Max during one of the training sessions - you know Max, the best thing about you is that - you know exactly how much to push - not too little so that I dont get any results, and not too much so that I just lose interest or give up coz its so hard. I plan to continue to train with Max for years!

Ive been working out with Max for a while, and I would recommend him unreservedly. Before him, I hadnt been paying attention to my physical condition. Thanks to Max, I lost over 20 pounds, and am in the best shape of my life. I no longer had to wear baggy clothes; I realize that sounds dumb, but its profoundly affecting. Max is awesome! I came to Max pretty far along with my weight loss journey, I had already lost 150 lbs and had quite a bit of muscle loss as well as loose skin. After three weeks my body fat % had gone down and I am in the best shape I have ever been! I only wish I had started sooner. Max is super easy to talk to, very knowledgeable and funny. He got me on supplements and helped me tinker with my diet until it was were it needed to be. He also got me signed up for various fitness apps that track food, fitness, progress, etc. He keeps the workouts exciting and changes it up every time which is awesome because that is exactly why the gym can get boring when you go on your own. Not to mention he helps you stretch out at the end which is very much needed for sore muscles! Hands down the best investment I have ever made.

Ive been working with Max Rocans for three months now and he is the best trainer I have ever worked with. So far I have lost 15 pounds and 5% body fat and I expect that to keep going down as I continue working with Max.I went to Max three months ago after working with a number of other of trainers over the last two and a half years and seeing minimal results. I asked for a plan to help me lose weight and keep it off as well as improve my strength, mobility, and endurance. I have a history of IT band problems and lower back pain and Max spent several sessions (at no cost) evaluating my movement and problem areas to help put together our plan. He is extremely focused on avoiding injury and exacerbation of problem spots so we mix in flexibility work with the core and strength training exercises.He put together a huge program document based on our evaluation sessions and uses a combination of apps and websites to keep me tracking my food and activity as well as provide recommendations for supplements and meal plans. I highly recommend Max if youre looking for someone to build a realistic plan and give you the tools to modify your behavior to reach that goal.

I recently had shoulder surgery and gained some weight and got out of serious shape. I decided I needed some professional assistance to get me back in the mix. So I searched and I found Max Rocans of Reboot Health. His semi private gym is in RWC near Atherton.I have just purchased my 3rd package 20 sessions and he has gone above and beyond helping with supplements, nutrition and even planing work outs for me when I cant make it to the gym. Max trains people from 5 years old to 80+ and creates the program specific to your needs. He personally competes in fitness competitions and running events up to Marathons.Hope to see you there!Dave

Max is the whole package. He is an extremely knowledgable trainer, professional, personable, amazingly strong and fit himself (he just rocked the Spartan World Championship in Tahoe to complete his Trifecta!), and just a down to earth and fun person.A friend (a fitness instructor and fellow dancer) recommended I work with Max to rehab my knee and ankle injuries. Not only has he helped me strengthen my muscles to support my knee and ankle, hes pushed me further than I ever imagined possible and helped me not only meet but exceed my fitness goals. Im not a runner (bad knee and ankle!) and never considered myself an athlete (I joke that Im recreationally challenged). With Maxs guidance, support and encouragement, I completed my first Spartan Sprint AND Tough Mudder this year! He even ran the Spartan with me, helping me over the walls, and patiently waiting for me when I needed a break from the endless flights of stairs at AT&T Park.In addition to being an awesome trainer, Max is also a great friend. Im so grateful my friend introduced me to him, and look forward to achieving my next fitness goals with him by my side.

I have been training with Max for about three years now. When I started my fitness journey all I wanted to do was to loose some weight and get in shape. So far I have lost 30lb and I kept it off. I went down from 42%BF to 17%BF. I have done about 10 races,( 5 half marathons,Urbanathlon, Spartan Sprint, Bay to Breakers and some local 5K). But what Im most proud of is, I have participated in 2 BodyBuilding shows (INBA and NPC) for the past 2 years. I placed top five for my age group in both shows. Bringing home trophies. For my last prep, he workout a program, and nutritional plan that help me get my body on the right shape. I was able to track my food on a app as well as my exercise routine.He is very knowledgeable in all aspects of fitness, and he really really cares for the wellbeing of his clients, so much so that he has done many races with me and my family. And came to see me at both shows with flowers and chocolate!!!I highly recommend Max if you want to make a lasting change in your life.Well worth it and I see more races and shows in the future.Thanks Max :)
