The office is well-managed, efficient and organized. The tech who interviewed me was very good at her job and there was no wasted time. Dr Petrin is all-business, informative and knowledgeable. All-in-all a pleasant experience.

I am a complicated patient with a file over three inches thick. Yet, I thoroughly trust that Dr. Petrons trained eyes will see suspicious lesions on my body I dont even know are there. He is an excellent surgeon but always considers more conservative measures first.He has great concern for good cosmetic results and will not hesitate to make a referral to another surgeon whom he thinks might be better suited for a particular procedure.Petrin Dermatology is a modern and updated facility with excellent and welcoming professional staff. I have no hesitation in giving them my highest recommendation.

I’ve been seeing Dr Petrin since ~ 2004.He is the most thorough, thoughtful, quiet yet personable doctor I’ve had.I drive 50 miles to see him-he’s that good!

Staff is always courteous and helpful. Dr. Petrin gives freely of his time. I like that I seldom wait for more than a few minutes, see the Doc promptly, and be on my way in short order. Issues are well explained and attended to professionally.

Didnt see the DR for more than 3 minutes after waiting 45 min in the waiting room. I felt like my concerns were dismissed and belittled. And I wasnt taken seriously and given sufficient information. Id never been to a dermatologist in my life so I was hoping to get quality advice on sunscreen or just general skin advice and have serums and other skin care explained to me.. But no, I was rushed out and asked if I wanted to come back in 6 months, nope. hahaIdk next time Ill just go to Sephora for skin care advice.Nice to know I probably dont have cancer yet! He didnt even give me a gage on how susceptible I am or what my risks are so I can be proactive.

I have been a patient of Dr. Petrins for many years. He and his staff are so friendly and great to work with. I recently had an emergency need for medication and they actually helped me with a sample and then update to my prescription. Jill was great and got back to me fast and made the change. I highly recommend Dr. Petrin and his super friendly staff who I enjoy chatting with. Also, felt completely safe with protocol they have set up during pandemic. For sure his care has made a big difference in my medical needs.

This was our first visit and the office staff and Dr. Petrin was extremely helpful and flexible!

He removed a skin tag with a blade in like five secs and then sent it for some test which costed me $100 more! He is not transparent about costs and doesnt have any solutions for common skin problems. He drained a cyst but it grew back and left a mark on my skin. He had no clue on how to fix it. He didnt have any solution for dry hair or stretch marks on skin. He just recommended some OTC stuff. The service is very very expensive with minimum 200+ just for office visit. Avoid if possible

Have had two appointments with Catherine the PA and she’s amazing. She did a thorough skin check and treated my granuloma perfectly. The dermatologist who treated me in Burbank had to inject me twice but Catherine got it right the first time.My second appointment was over the computer and she was attentive, informative and answered all of my questions. I truly trust her more than any dermatologist I have ever visited.

Dr Petrin has been my dermatologist for many years, I highly recommend him. My appointment started right on time. They checked my temperature before allowing me to enter. Masks required and the staff all had masks on.

Dr Perrin has also taken care of my girlfriend, father, and mother treating things ranging from removing skin cancer to Botox injections. All are happy with their experience. The staff is always very friendly and attentive. They are very serious about COVID protections and implement the state required guidelines, in addition to many best practices. When I go to the doctor, I want expert care and advice. What are my options and what are the risks? That is why I go to Petrin Dermatology. I want the latest medical technologies including in-office treatments, drug therapies, and take home behaviors including self-care techniques. The only potential gap is how treatment and test results are shared with my other providers. They are not connected to one of the major Multi-Care Health Systems, so it is the patients responsibility to request that records be sent to the correct provider and that they are securely shared.

This is a busy office, and I appreciate that ones appointment time is pretty much when one will be seen by Dr. Petrin & his staff. Ive never had to wait an inordinate amount of time.

Dr Petrin has been my Dermatologist over 10 yrs he & his staff are Professional. There have been a few times I was unable to make my appt.. his staff have Always called me right back with total understanding! It was good experience visiting dr Petrin. He’s very patient while listening to problems and comes up with detailed solution. He also tries to make the patient understand the cause behind problem and sets realistic expectations via treatment plan. I would like to be a returning patient in case of any issue in future.

Like others with and experiences shared, this is the place I would never want to go to again.Went there a few years ago and the doctor felt very impersonal, dont care for patients attitide. He did a skin biopsy on my left arm when the nurse standing next to him asked if he was sure and he gave her a look. The nurse later said the left arm mark is going to stay with me forever. He didnt solve the problem.I have to see a dermatologist again now and was looking for recommendations. am surprised this place has 4+ stars! Would never go there...

Very professional and polite its like youre family

Doctor was like a impersonal zombie and used his phone to google my question about potential liver toxicity with a skin medication accompanied by a dinner alcoholic beverage. Bad vibes, and I can reiterate what the other low reviewer said; unfortunately this is about the other doctor, Petrin himself and had to pay over $300 dollars out of pocket after our Boeing insurance for a diagnosis of what I told him it already was. We simply needed prescription medication authorization by this doctor and its the first and last time well use this provider.

Beat dermatologist in the city! I would never trust anyone as much as him. Hes thorough, knowledgeable, and takes time to answer all your questions!

The sum of a doctors office consists of its parts, and the parts at this office just suck. Went through Walgreens to get a refill on a prescription as they asked - twice. No response from anyone. Left a message the morning of 6/28, no return phone call. Call again that evening and explain that my wife needs a refill of minocycline. Explain to Ruby, the nurse, that she had surgery more than two weeks ago and was not on antibiotics. Simply looking for a refill - easy, right? Nope - Ruby asks what the surgery was. Politely respond that its none of her business - thats why theres HIPPA. Ruby asks if she is taking antibiotics - my wife tells her no. Ruby continues to go into the danger of antibiotics and minocycline despite the fact that we told her that antibiotics are not being taken (she repeats herself three times after we told her this was not an issue). Its as if Ruby is deaf at worst, extremely rude at best. Get a call back no more than a minute later saying that my wifes prescription was denied - no why. Summary: MY TWO KIDS AND WIFE WENT HERE - NO MORE. WHEN STAFF IS IGNORANT, RUDE, OBNOXIOUS, AND INSOLENT TOWARD PATIENTS, ITS TIME TO FIND A DIFFERENT DERMATOLOGIST OFFICE. Dr. Petrin needs to look at replacing Ruby permanently.

I was not happy with my experience here are some of the reasons:Always had to wait 15-30min or moreDoes not pay attention to detailsI was charge for the treatment plus extra for the visit. This did not happen when I changed doctor.

Stunned. This place was recommended by a friend of friend. Last time I do that. I made an appt easy enough and showed up at 2:00 for my 2:15. At about 2:35 I was taken to a room. A very apathetic nurse asked me some questions, and she acted like she would rather be getting a root canal than doing her job. The doctor came in (the lady PA), threw a limp handshake at me, then proceeded to plop into a chair across the room as I sat on the examination table. It was a one sided awkward conversation, where I felt I had to guide the appointment. I wrote down about 5 things on my intake form that I wanted to chat about, including a cancer screening, but apparently only one topic allowed. The doctor was slumped in her chair like she was on break, and didnt even attempt to actually look at my face or my body. She spatted out a bunch of products than left the room. Stunned, I walked out and to the front desk. The front desk said we will get X product for you, and I said, what about the other items she mentioned? The nurse came back, rolled her eyes, and said it would be sent to my pharmacy. I told her that was not clear. They brought the cream and said that will be $125. I paused for a second, disgusted at the experience I just had, and said never mind, I am leaving. I was not about to give these jerks any more money. The two very nice front desk ladies did not seem surprised at all, and literally 3 seconds after I said I just had a terrible experience, they handed me a Starbucks gift card and said at least you can have a couple of frappachinos on us. I said WOW! DOES THIS HAPPEN OFTEN? for you to have these ready so quickly? No comment from them. Just got my bill- how quick they got that processed, huh?- and have to pay $83 out of pocket after insurance. DONT GO HERE.

I been to this doctor a long ago and he was not able to diagnose the problem. He only seems interested in making money and wanted to take a patch from my scalp. I dont know who gave him 4.3 starts. Can we buy reviews on google?

I took my 88-yr-old mother to Dr. Petrin for rashes on her legs and feet. These rashes were addressed by our family doctor for the last few months and didnt get better. Dr. Petrin diagnosed two issues on her skin problems and treated them with two different medications. A few days later, we noticed significant improvement. Its been two weeks after her treatment with Dr. Petrin and her rashes are almost gone. I want to share my positive experience. Dr. Petrin is patient, friendly and knowledgeable.

Everything seem to go very smoothly. Dr. Petrin come across as very pleasant, efficient, knowledgeable, clear and concise.

Doctor treats you like dry cleaning, rushing you in and out and ignoring your questions and concerns. Was charged $160+ for cutting off a skin tag that took 5 seconds. Doctor did not mention that this procedure would be charged on top of my office visit or I wouldnt have agreed to it.
