Brightways flat out lied to me, saying I could do an in person session. After setting it up, changed it to via video call. Of course, they do that and send an email with the cancellation policy. They were just hoping for an easy paycheck either way.What a terrible way to treat people who are seeking therapy or help with mental health.They still attempted to ignore my cancellation for the 4th time. It is now literal harassment.Update: despite my wishes, Brightways continues to harass me with phone calls.

I had an amazing experience with brightways! They did a fantastic job of listening well and giving me the tools to work through things! I would highly recommend them to anyone!

Going to counseling is never easy, but going to see Kevin made it easier then it has ever been. Kevin isnt just another counselor, hes the change we needed in mental health. Hes understanding, carring, and resourceful. I got help for all aspects of my life and can now be a better mother and wife. I would and have recommended him to everyone I know. Like he once said himself everyone needs counseling at some point in life, its when you do that varies. So if your that person pondering if you should, try it, try them, I promise itll be worth it in the end.

I cant really say enough about Kevin. He helped our teenage son and our family re-connect to our son. We are all so unique and Kevin helped us how to communicate and handle situations so we had a better outcome. My son has better control of his anxiety and is a much happier individual. I would refer Kevin Shaw to everyone I know. Hands down, the best counseling Ive ever experienced. I was at my worse when I started going here (anxiety/depression). He really pulled me out of a dark place. And not just taking care of the symptoms, but he focuses on HEALING. Very welcoming, friendly, non-judgemental atmosphere.

Really helped me work through some things that have been hindering my personal growth in a short time. Kevin made sure I felt safe and comfortable at the beginning and end of each session, never having me leave a session too shaken up (by doing some grounding excersises).
