I’m enrolled in the Esthetician program at Redlands. My teacher is Amazing I’m sure I’m not the only that’s loves Mrs.K to pieces. She’s an awesome teacher who actually cares and wants you to succeed. If it wasn’t for her I wouldn’t have gotten this far. Seeing so many people graduate I know I can do it. The school is great within it self I wish the break room was bigger it’s so many of us now. But that’s how great the school is everyone wants to attend Salon Success.

I understand this is a school, but I wanted to try it out anyways. My daughter and I went to get a gel Manis today. Hers turned out cute and the person who did them was really nice. Mine on the other hand were done by a first timer who admitted she didnt really know what she was doing. I expected the instructors to be walking around and assisting but they werent. The gel polish on 3 nails have already peeled completly off and I just got them done this morning.

I went to salon success to become a licensed nail tech through my course of training I loved it so much at the Redlands campus by far amazing and neat it ended up making me want to come back and become a esthetician because of the such amazing teachers specially Mrs.K. Great choice and I would highly recommend

I went through a devastating situation todaythere is an enrollment every month. I found this school I came to this school for information they did not find me I applied to this school. I have been trying to get my documents in and all the necessary information to start school apparently I was taking too long and people got impatient and I was told by Megan that I was not allowed to come to any of the campuses upland Fontana or Redlands and indefinitely or they will let me know if I can come to their school in the future theyll call me I felt discriminated against I cried this is a career that I wanted for my kids Im 42 years old and I did not think it was fair for her to make that decision to say that I cannot come to any of the campuses indefinitelybecause she dont like me or because my race I have no idea why she treated me like that I didnt get a direct answer from her she gave a message to someone else to let me know that I cannot come to none of her campuses. Anyhow I found San Bernardino beauty college I guess thats where she wants me to go anywhere but her campus I dont know what Ive done to this woman I never met her but I think its very wrong how shes treating me and this is the only person that can make the decision nobody above her I cried all day I will be reporting this to the department of education or anyone I can so that no other student will be discriminated against like this theres no telling how many people that she turned down that want their education and she has the final say to say they cannot come to school to her campus so I will make sure I go through the necessary channels to make sure that nobody else feels this way that I feel today

As a student at salon Success Academy in my opinion the beauty Industry isn’t for everyone!!!If you aren’t self motivated an dedicated to do hair or whatever in the beauty industry you’re not going to adapt to it ❗️ I think it’s a great start for beauty enthusiast an people who want to learn how to do hair skin nails etc. Also you have to want to be great you have to challenge yourself, the instructors give u the basics an as a student and beauty enthusiast you are supposed to think outside the box an use your creativity to create artwork an extravagant work so if you think otherwise maybe the profession you chose wasn’t for you!!! Thank you an have a good day

This was my first time. I can relate to Customer Service at this place. Service we get at this place is equal to service we get a high end Barber places. No drama no show just Great Hair cut service that Ive got in recent times.I recommend it strongly for who wanna try for the first time. C.C youre awesome.

Good place to get a student haircut. Prices are high for a learning center but all the students are eager and ready to learn and try their best to get you a great cut.

First time coming and I think I found my new salon! My hair stylists were Daniella (student) and Christine (instructor). I went from just above shoulder length to a feminine but masculine pixie cut. They were both very knowledgeable and confident. I knew I was in good hands. Everyone was very friendly. My haircut was 12.50 which worth every penny. The student, Daniella, has a great future ahead of her.

Ive been coming here for years. Theres a misconception that if you come here, because theyre still learning, they may mess up your hair. False! Each student is being closely supervised. By locals coming in, students have the opportunity to enhance their skills and you reap the benefits of receiving those services at a reasonable price. Its a win win! 💕

I dont have anything nice to say about this place. The instructors are terrible. They treat grown adults like children and have no respect for anyone. The instructor who charges clients for services charges differently every time you ring up. If you have a coupon hide it until you are quoted a price because shell quote high to make up for the coupon. The school director is a joke. Shes never on time to meetings and has a poor time communicating. The tuition is cheap but do not let that attract you. You get what you pay for when it comes to cosmetology school. Pay for the best education you can get. Attend anywhere else but Salon Academy. Youve been warned!!!

The school was ok. you get out what you put in. if you stay focused and determined you will pass your state board. That is ALL this school prepares you for. you will have to go somewhere else to actually learn how to do hair. They dont make it fun with contests and stuff like Paul Mitchell schools do. This location has a really hard time keeping instructers. The directors only care about signing new students, and could seemingly care less about the students already there, or the graduates. Lastly, if your going to cosmetology school for the $$ in a career, you have chosen the wrong path. i pushed myself to stay with salon success, graduated, passed state board and now make about $35,000 per year... not much. to make money in this career you will have to work very hard, for the rest of your career, with nothing to show for in the end. just some insight. good luck with your new career. :) i am changing mine.

Puts the Suck in Success. As the poor shmuck that has to pay off my significant others student loans blown on this craphole, Im enraged on a daily basis when I hear of teachers who dont teach, salon floors that routinely lack towels and gloves, a code of conduct that is enforced with all the fervor of an ADHD kid on crack (meaning rules are often ignored, then suddenly enforced with all the rage of Das Fuhrer.), and rampant discrimination / harassment of students who stand up for themselves. The corporate side of this company will not address your issues, and have been known to retaliate against students as well. If youre into schools run by a bunch of preschool dropouts, Salon Success is for you.
