I have always been so scared to get my wisdom teeth extracted, when the staff of Dr. Rust called me to make an appointment the lady really made sure to make me feel comfortable even just with making the appointment. I am really sad that Dr. Rust Is soon to retire, his staff and him are so amazing and wonderful. I had one of the best experiences, especially with it being my first time getting any surgery done. You all really made me feel wonderful, comfortable and reassured me!

DR.Rust and his staff are amazing. I had all 4 of my wisdom teeth pulled at once. And they did an excellent job. I was out and awake it seemed like it all happened so quick and everything was okay. Definitely recommend it

Do you remember Little Shop of Horrors? Meat market type processing of patients, with lip service follow up that means nothing when there are complications and they argue that there is nothing wrong. Still in occasional pain over five years later!

After reading all of the reviews, I was pretty scared about going here. I have high anxiety when it comes to dental procedures and though I knew Id be under anesthesia, I was extremely scared. The staff was AMAZING, talked me through my anxiety. Dr Rust was very kind when he came in, making conversation to try to help calm my nerves. Before I knew it I was waking up. Thank you Dr Rust and staff!!

Rude receptionist,I came in for my appt and the rude person told me he cant see me because Im overweight. What is that about? They turned my brother down today because he is too tall. If you cant handle tall or overweight people, maybe you should retire. And get a new receptionist.

Thank you. From the greeting to the procedure was great. Thank you once again for the overall experience. I was really nervous going in, although I might not have made it obvious. Thank you for making it not nearly as bad as I thought. I was out, then awake and all was well. Your team was amazing. Thanks again.

Dr. Rust also made a comment on my tattoos I don’t think he likes them but he’s entitled to that and it was more of a curiosity thing.Anyway that is not the issue. His receptionist with brown hair was so unbelievably rude. It wasn’t just to me it was to everyone in the lobby who was tired and hungry. They book too many people and when they have a emergency they are much too far behind. The receptionist was rude to each and everyone which made us all that much more vocal about our wait. They were a 1 1/2 behind schedule. She argued with each of us saying we knew that could happen. No they did not tell me or the other three girls that. We asked her if we can come back or they call us in which she said isn’t her job. She couldn’t answer any questions with out aggression or being argumentative. Her attitude was garbage and I highly doubt her skills out way her rudeness. They need to get rid of her.

Dr. Rust is my hero. I had an abscessed tooth that was unspeakably painful, and he took me as a same-day walk in the Friday before Christmas weekend, 2016. He listened and understood my problem metabolizing anesthetic too fast. Whatever he used it worked like a charm, and the procedure was over in a twinkling. Amazing. I cant imagine how unbearable it would have been to have endured that long Holiday weekend in agony.

They got the job done! My overall experience was an “alright” one. I had 3 wisdom teeth removed a couple days ago. I had to wait over 3 months to get the extraction appointment (most likely because I’m on Partnership, and paying customers usually get appointment priority.)I hadn’t eaten anything since 9pm the night before and I had the appointment at around 1:00pm the following day. When I arrived, the nice lady upfront informed me that none of the staff including Dr. Rust had taken their lunch, and everyone was behind schedule, so it was going to be about an hour long wait. I understand that things like this happen, except for I’m not sure why they don’t call you in advance if they’re THAT backed up?An hour and a half later, I was called in to get the surgery started. I got hooked up to the machines and waited in the surgery room for about another 15 minutes. I was uneasy about going under, since I have anxiety disorder. Then the nurse and Doctor Rust came in and he proceeded to make conversation with me. He called me “pretty” several times. I feel like his intentions were not bad at all. From what I’ve read in the reviews, he seems to upset people with the things he says; I personally didn’t take offense. I just think Dr. Rust is an elderly man who means well, but might come off as rude or demeaning if you don’t get his “old man” personality. But I do know he’s experienced and I was in good hands. In fact, I believe the surgery itself didn’t take more than an hour.( **EDIT: Also, to those in the reviews complaining about not being accepted due to a BMI over 30%, it’s for your own good. It’s dangerous for people with higher BMI range to go under general anesthesia — higher complication rate. Your lungs could even accidentally get crushed by the extra breathing-tubes necessary for people with a high BMI percentage. Sorry, maybe try losing some weight for the surgery?**)When I got home, I couldn’t eat or drink ANYTHING and by then, I hadn’t eaten in about 21 hours. Just sipping room-temperature water sent severe pain shooting up and down my face, from my throat to my eye socket. The Norco I was prescribed didn’t help in the slightest, and to make matters worse, I only felt the “comedown” from the painkiller (depressed, mood swings). When I took a shower, I almost passed out from the steam from how weak I was due to not eating or drinking in almost 24 hours. I couldn’t sleep at all that night.Luckily, a few days later now, I can drink and eat very soft foods, but that hurt a lot!

Thanks for all the positive posts. But I have to be honest when I first saw him he scared the living ... out of me. Hes highly intelligent, brutally frank and was just amazed at how bad another dentist had messed up my mouth. Dr. Rust has got to be a great dentist. He teaches others how to do oral surgery, besides that he had a Bible in his waiting room, and I know if hes a man of GOD hes an A-Lister in my book.2 months later Dr. Rust pulled three of my rotten teeth yesterday and he did an excellent job. Im really glad I kept my appointment and I wouldnt let any other dentist in my mouth to pull my teeth.

My 21 year old daughter in law shows up for her wisdom teeth to be extracted today. The Dr walks in and immediately starts to demean her about her arm tattoo. She is a very nice girl who is quite introverted and avoids confrontation. He starts to ask her why she seems so quiet in which she replies that she is scared and having some anxiety as she has never had surgery or put out before. This very nice man (being sarcastic here) tells her that he should be the one with anxiety because of her intimidating tattoo? (Its nothing but a flowers design). He becomes more rude over the next few minutes and when she finally decides to speak up he then tells her that he is taking his $400 that is owed to him, he is not doing the surgery, and for her to get her jacket and leave and not to bother coming back. What this ignorant Dr doesnt realize is that he isnt the only one who can intimidate people. After I get through with all the governing bodies I can reach, all the review sites I can write too; all the people locally I can tell, he will wish he never met her. To use your power as a doctor to intimidate and mentally abuse a young female is appalling. If you believe for one minute that this maybe fabricated I offer you this. Read all his reviews that are negativeThey all point to the same problem and that is rudeness to women and his attitude. I cannot wait to watch your practice suffer in the future. You sir deserve it more than most. #KARMA
