I have been struggling to find a great stylist since I moved from the bay area up to Redding. After trying a few different places and getting mediocre results, I found Cest la vie and booked an appt with Becca. Honestly, I can not even begin to tell you what an incredibly talented stylist she is! I let her have free range over some of my ideas and she always delivers far beyond my expectations! The salon is wonderful and the stylists I have met have been extremely friendly (which is hard to find, especially as a newbie to a salon). So thankful to Becca for always making me feel beautiful when I leave her chair!

The ladies here do a great job but make sure you ask the cost of everything if you dont want a huge surprise. I went in for a cut and color and ended up getting a keratin treatment as well. My hair looked great but I was surprised by the price at the end. I ended up paying over $500 for a cut, color, and treatment that included products. I shouldve asked exactly what I everything costs before agreeing to everything so thats on me I guess. If you dont want to be surprised by the price, make sure you ask the price of EVERYTHING!

Becca is the sweetest human ever, not to mention her amazing talent as well. She takes her time to make sure you get what you want and is definitely a fun person to talk to! The salon is also such a fun place to be!

I highly recommend going to see Rebecca at C’est La Vie Salon. Growing up in the UK I’ve had a lot of cuts and styles from a lot of hairstylists. Rebecca took time to talk about what I wanted and definitely delivered. One of the best, if not the best, haircuts I’ve ever had. She won’t disappoint!

First time at this salon. Had a trim and thin haircut along with balayage coloring. LOVE LOVE LOVE my hair color! My hair is shoulder length but extremely thick so get ready to spend some time at the salon but this is well worth it! Thank you to Rebecca for the wonderful job!

I had my hair cut and colored. Michelle (the owner) was professional and very knowledgeable. Where other stylists told me we could not go light (after observing my hair) she found that we could actually achieve the color I wanted with our destroying my hair. She was very attentive, pay attention to detail and and did a meticulous job. My hair turned out amazing!I had her do a white/silver on the lower portion and the root purple. And I had her do a steep A-line. I have fine hair and it was layered before I came in. She was amazing at making my hair do what I asked for! Her color skills are great and her professionalism shines!

What can you expect from C’est La Vie?The other day I was walking on a downtown Redding street headed to work. A random woman rolled her window down to call out to me, “I love your hair! Super cute cut!” It was incredible!Michelle is great, and I’m so thankful to have accidentally found her years ago. You will be very pleased with her work.

Just had my complete hair makeover done by Rebecca and I love it!!! My hair was bleached twice and colored, but looks and feels healthier and stronger than before I went in and the cut and color are exactly what I was hoping for. I came in to C’est La Vie salon today ready to change up my hairstyle after 10+ years of having very long (curly) hair. I showed Michelle a few pics of the cut I was thinking and was both excited and nervous because it was going to be such a big change for me. Michelle patiently executed the cut with precision. She used the devachan ‘curly girl’ method of cutting and styling my hair which I really appreciated. Not only that, but Michelle did a beautiful balayage on my hair as well. My once long, dark, heavy curls are now a perky, honey-gold lob. I feel like a million bucks. I highly recommend Michelle for your cut and color needs!
