I had a great experience at this location of Waxing the City. The studio was clean, and the staff was friendly/professional. My appointment was with Teblez Rowe, and I have nothing but great things to say about her! She was ready as soon as I checked in, and the waxing was the least painful I’ve ever had. She was quick/efficient and made the entire experience relaxing (or as relaxing as waxing can be).

This place was excellent. The lady removed all the hair I requested and did it in a timely manner. The price was fair.

I went for a wax as a walk in as I had given up waxing when covid hit and salons closed in Virginia. I wanted to start back and found this place while shopping. I went online and looked at reviews and decided to give them a try. I used the salon on wake forest road near Wegmans. My technician was Teblez Rowe and she was awesome. Very professional, informative, carried on great conversation to help me feel at ease and did an excellent job. I shared with her I had experience a very poor quality service one time at European Wax Center and never went back. I was so pleased with the services I received there I have already booked my next two appts. I will def recommend them to friends.

Tried this place out for a full Brazilian wax and probably wont return.Seemed like every technician was behind. My appointment was at 1:45PM, but we didnt get started until 2:05PM. I was asked personal health questions in front of people in the waiting room. A technician and administrative staff member were complaining about scheduling issues while I was waiting. Overall unprofessional and insincere front-of-the house staff.My technician was nice which is why I gave a 20% tip. Unfortunately, she wasnt very experienced or expedient. When I got home, I found patches of hair plus wax left in several places. With how much time was spent, I expected a much different result.

My first visit was spectacular. Everyone was welcoming and informative. I’ve been serviced by Teblez Rowe 4 or more time and she is absolutely wonderful. She’s initiates conversations to keep a distracted off the brief stinging. She’s always recommending great products to use in between waxes based off my needs. She’s the best!

This was my first waxing experience and it was very pleasant. I wont lie, it was painful, but Teblez made me as comfortable as possible. She was kind and explained everything to me. The facility is also very clean and followed COVID precautions. I will definitely be back.

Easy scheduling and professional services make this my go to place. Ivy is the best! Not one negative reaction to the wax, and I stay smooth for weeks.

My husband went to Waxing the City as a birthday present for me! 😁 He got the mens facial grooming package and Ivy was his cerologist and she did an amazing job! She made my husband feel less nervous as he was brand new to this, she didnt even make him cry. 🤪🤪I highly recommend her. We will be back. Thank you, Ivy!

Came in for a brazilian today and Jordan was SO amazing and fast and made the whole experience so comfortable! I will definitely be coming back in the future! The whole staff was so nice and welcoming and i highly suggest if you are getting a wax you come here!

The Manager at this location is amazing, she makes the environment extremely inviting for the clients and is super knowledgeable.
