My daughter has 4c hair and the way she straightened it was amazing! She didnt burn her scalp and bonded with her as she did her hair. We will definitely go back

I booked an appointment online received confirmation for booking as well as a reminder message the day before. I arrived exactly on time and was asked by a woman as I walked in the door who was braiding a client’s hair if I had an appointment. I said yes at 5:15pm. She said the two other ladies who do hair left like 20 min ago. I said it’s 5:15pm this is my appointment time why would they leave even before the time. She says I only do braids I don’t know anything about it. I said this is very unprofessional. Asked if I could come back tomorrow I explained no this is why I booked appointment for today. She called the owner who said there is an appointment scheduled for 5:15pm for a blow out. That would be me. The lady said the owner is calling the workers so I waited another 15 min only to be told they weren’t coming back so I would need to reschedule. I left work early and drove 30 min for the appointment as I was going out of town and needed it done before I left. I was looking for a salon to go to regularly. The owner did call to apologize and offered to reschedule but the apology did not help me get what I needed or give me back me time and gas money I wasted going there. I would not go there again as it was very unprofessional.

Will NOT be back. I scheduled an appointment for 4:15pm hours ahead of time. If she didn’t have enough time, she shouldn’t have accepted the appointment. I am not from this area and I drove over an hour only to have her walk in late (around 4:25pm), and start servicing another client. Granted, the lady was there before me but that is EXTREMELY unprofessional to have two appointments scheduled at the same time, late to BOTH. She also did not greet me, and I can’t spend my money anywhere that the person does the bare minimum. 10/10 WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!!

I visited this salon on my daughters 14th bornday in August. The owner offered me a great deal if both of us came for the Keratin Blow Out Treatment. I waited a few months to give the review to see how well it lasted. It is still beautiful. Firstly, I must have privacy due to my religion. She did not schedule any hair cuts during that time or accept male clients. She also MADE SURE the brothers in the adjoining Vapor Store knew not enter during our visit. She was compassionate, welcoming and kind. Nextly, I have been to several other Dominican Salons in the area and I studied Spanish so I understand what they are saying while they think I am clueless. They have made what I perceived as negative comments about bad hair then when I called them out they try to smooth it over. This salon is so very different....the environment is pleasant and nothing was said is Spanish that was offensive. The next shocking difference was that she did not use a fine tooth comb starting at the roots and and rip through which actually rips my hair out.... LOL treating it like it bad. May hair was handled with care. Finally, the BEST part was that she respected not cutting off ALL MY HAIR. Yes, I had split ends but she had compassion and trimmed yes trimmed it. She wanted me to be satisfied with a beautiful look at the end and she explained that we could trim more the next time I come in for a deep conditioning. My daughter has long hair so we had to come the next day to finish her and for me to be serviced. She had another stylist come in to assist. Although she spoke less English, her smile and professionalism were there. She took the time to wet a towel to put over my eyes during the treatment when they were watering. I felt very pampered and happy. They perceived my discomfort and immediately took action. Do not worry, everyone is not bothered. My daughter wasnt at all. After shampooing I have more like 3c versus 4c. I am so happy not to lose my GOD given curl pattern and still switch it up a bit. Variety is the spice of life! We enjoyed some cake and felt right at home. I truly look forward to our next visit. Vaya ConDios!

Wash blow dry and cut with prices you cant beat! Speaks English and spanish, love. Such a sweetheart withgreat services!! Understood that I have allergies and let me bring my own shampoo and conditioner but i did see she has quality dominican products!
