I was contacted by one of their recruiters looking to fill a good paying analyst role out in RTP for a tech company on a Friday and had a good conversation. The recruiter emailed me a follow up question the following Monday which I promptly answered. It has now been more than a week with no updates from recruiter after two requests (1 email and 1 phone call). Finding a job is really tough in todays environment and recruiting agencies should be professional and at least send updates to prospective candidates instead of ghosting them. Even a simple email from the recruiter stating there are no updates is communicating something. I do not recommend working with TEKSystems and suggest finding other agencies in the area that will treat you with more professionalism, of which there are plenty in the RTP area.

The initial connection were good when I talked to the first recruiter. It all falls apart with the next step the account manager that basically sends a shotgun blast of resumes to the position in question. I have attempted to use them multiple times and have NEVER gotten to interviewing with the actual client they are talking about. This time around I was basically lied to about being submitted. Do yourself a favor look elsewhere for a recruiter.

They placed me in places where they asked for skills that were overly basic and then set you up for failure. Ruined my career.

Before I lost my job at the end of August an amazing talent acquisition specialist named Dejon Bosley got in touch with me via LinkedIn about exploring various career opportunities through TEKSystems. I quickly discovered that Dejon wasnt just trying to win me over as a client, but really valued me as an individual trying to find the best job possible. In my previous job I didnt have very many skills that could be carried over into a position beyond entry-level, and he informed me of this in the most polite and kind way possible without making me feel like all hope was lost. He always saw any setback as an opportunity for growth or room for something better. His positivity and continuous support and advice guided me through my job search and I eventually landed the position I had been working so hard to get. To be honest, my desired job role was out of his field of accounts so he didnt even have to help me, but he did, keeping me posted on anything that came across his desk, and I am so thankful for it. Thanks for believing in me, DeJon! Your confidence and advice went along way in helping me during this rough time!

I wont go back to TEK systems again. Worked with Veronica and she will try to micromanage me as if I am a middle school kid. During my time with her team, all I remember is constant update from me to them but hardly any communication of value from their side. Absolute non sense. They are low profile money suckers..

Its actually part of how contract and temp agencies are designed to work successfully. They create pools of people with specific skills so that when companies contact them with a need for workers, they have people who can start fairly quick. If they didnt pool people over time to have candidates at hand, then a company would go to another agency that does.This branch of Teksystems has treated me with absolute respect and appreciation. I have been on this same contract for over 2 years and the RECRUITER actually still calls to check in with me about every other month. So, once you understand how these businesses work and you actually start working on one of their contracts when an opening comes available, you will be able to properly review them. But reviewing a contract company based on a misunderstanding of how they are designed to work, is pretty unfair to the company especially since I have never been treated better by any employer in my life who matched me with doing work for a company I absolutely love working for and they have recruited 3 of my referrals who also feel just as positive about working for them.

This recruiting firm is notorious for presenting jobs they find online to prospective workers even though they have no recruitment contract with the employer. They will waste a ton of your time and you are better off avoiding any job they are trying to sell you.

They basically wasted my time for about a whole month! I interviewed for a job that was $22/hr and matched my skills. I constantly contacted them to see if I was chosen, but received no further information. Then they tried to make me accept a job for $16/hr call center. I accepted because I was in desperate need and I have a child so I need income ASAP! Once accepted they told me instead of 16/hr it will be 15/hr. So I still tried to be patient. Went through tons of paperwork, testing, more online paper work, wasted gas going to the office, wasted gas going to take a drug test & paying $5 for parking that I didn’t have. The drug testing facility they use is pathetic! I waited 3hrs, urinated twice only for them to say “oh it wasn’t enough to test, wait a few more hours until you can go again”. I was told they were going to reschedule the test because they have me two different deadlines anyway, only to get a call today that they couldn’t do it and they can’t help me get a job now for 6mths. DO NOT WORK FOR THEM! They aren’t professional, They string you along and they are inconsiderate of people who are going through everyday challenges just to get back into the job force to get back on their feet. They don’t care!

In less than four weeks, I received a job offer at an excellent company with a $30K pay raise. I still receive regular followup from the team to make sure Im happy with where Ive been placed. Understand that your benefits will be significantly more expensive as a contractor than as a full-time employee, and plan accordingly.

A recruiter (Ali R) reached out to me over LinkedIn and requested a time to discuss a job opportunity I expressed interest in. I quickly arranged a time for both of us to talk and waited to receive a call at the agreed upon time. I didn’t receive a call and instead received an email from the recruiter claiming she ran out of time. We rescheduled for another day and again, the same thing happened. We finally rescheduled a third time and the same thing happened, without any follow-up from the recruiter. It was frustrating to have spent my personal time preparing to discuss my eligibility for the position and off-putting to have interacted with an unprofessional recruiter.

Worked a while, terrible quit went with another contractor got a better job more money and a manager that appreciates my skill set and got me what I deserved

Dont trust the over the top marketing and pitches they give you.Sounds too good to be true rule applies here.

Basically strung me along for three weeks saying they would be able to get me a job and then said jk, we dont do anything for people with your skillset. I dont appreciate having my time wasted like that only to be shut down.

TekSystems is a top notch, very professional IT (and more) staffing solution for Technical needs.

I dont see why the recruiter would reach out to me if she was not going to do her job. I had to go through obstacles just for her to submit my information to a company. She did not keep me up to date on anything worst recruiting company. Im wont say any names this time....but I will if I need to.

I worked with Alex G. at TEKsystems and got first class service. We talked almost every day and he was clear with the prospect and kept me updated with each of the opportunities.

I was promised a follow call up with some additional details, but never received the call. I waited a couple of days before calling them to get some sort of update. I left them a voice mail with my contact number and still havent heard back from them, Im now going on my second week with no response. Iv had this same issue with other members in this office. I guess I need to take the hint and use a different recruiting company.

Do not work for this company - you will be sorry. They use the bait and switch technique to get you the job. They will lowball you on pay and read everything and I mean everything you sign with these folks.
