The staff and Dr. are perfect. They do not waste your time, they have a system and it is very efficient. Dr is right on with injection, last time pain stayed away for 6 years, this time in 24 hours pain is gone, be really happy if it last anywhere close to as long as last time. Highly recommend!

I would never go back here or recommend to anyone. My PCP sent me here to figure out severe pain at the knee area, front and back and down my calf for 6 weeks. Ultra sound showed 2 areas of fluid typical of a bakers cyst. My doctor sent me here to drain the cyst. Kanaan scanned quickly and said there was no cyst. Sent me for knee x-rays “to see what part of this is arthritis”. I have no history of arthritis. He said knees were good and I would never need knee replacements (surprise).Then said there is no cyst and no arthritis so there was nothing he could do. He never offered next step to take, who I might see, what to do. I left the office feeling like I was not a 20 year old basketball player so there was no worth in helping me. He looked at my age and surmised I had arthritis. FYI, I saw an orthopedic surgeon at EmergeOrtho. MRI confirmed a torn meniscus, had surgery and recovering well. Kanaan is lacking on bedside manner and diagnosis.

First time visit, friendly staff, listened and did not have to come back for knee pain relief. Took care of it on the first visit.

Problem diagnosed and resolved with one steroid injection. Dr Kanaan and ms. Cindy are terrific.

I had been having issues with my left arm for quite some time and my GP referred me to Dr. Kanaan. He knew immediately what was wrong, gave me a cortisone shot and brace and sent me on my way. Were able to get me in quickly. Very efficient with not much wait time. Radiology in the same building so very quick to get X-rays. Dr was very knowledgeable and gave me several options. Spent as much time as needed talking me through everything and did not make me feel rushed. Didn’t love the diagnosis but appreciated his calm delivery. His nurse and the front desk were great as well. I would definitely recommend.

Ive seen Dr. Kanaan twice, once this year and once several years ago. Each time it was an injury I sustained from training to hard or pulling something while training. Anyway, Ive always felt treated like a real person and not a number and Ive felt that Dr. Kanaan was competent and knowledgeable. And each time I got good pain relief. During COVID the waiting room is empty, the safety precautions are evident, and I felt confident that I was receiving the best care possible.

I’ve had non-Surgical treatment for my knees and it has delayed any surgery for 2 years and counting. I am pain-free most of the time. A little pain creeps in about a week or two before my treatment. What a blessing!I will continue my knee treatments indefinitely.Dr. Kanaan and staff are special in all they do. Fast service, they listened to the problem and offered quick relief. After only one day my knee feels better (not sure if that is psychosomatic or its actually working but who cares) and I have stopped taking any medication to alleviate pain. I wasnt impressed with how I was seen by the Doctor. Ive been trying to heal an injured wrist for awhile and Im still not sure what the problem is, even after visiting. I was just prescribed some medication that isnt really helping at all and I saw the doctor for like 1or 2 minutes. I feel like Im going to be right back in there in a week to ask the same question and still have the same symptomsUpdate: I was personally called by the Doctor to understand then issue with my wrist and discussed other options and next steps.

Dr Kanaan has a great approach, intentionally seeking therapies that are progressive and minimizing a default to invasive procedures. I feel like I’m in great hands and my knee felt significantly better in less than24 hours...he will be my guy for as long as I have knees!

Staff and doctor were professional. Dr. Kanaan took the time to listen to my issue and was upfront with what PRP may be able to do. He used ultrasound for the injection which was great because he could inject right the first time. I barely felt a pinch. When I had some follow-up concerns they addressed it without hassle and had me come in the next day to check things out. Its too early to know if PRP will work for me but Im satisfied with the service I was provided and will come to him again if I need an orthopedic doctor.

On time. Friendly staff. I had been seeing some other orthopedists who had not been able to help my leg problems with various treatments. After many months of seeing different MDs, one suggested PRP as an alternative but was sort lukewarm in his suggestion. He was not as positive about its potential benefits as was Kanaan who seemed more knowledgeable about the procedure and also had a lot more experience with it. He didn’t spend a lot of time with me but I had my records which he glanced over so I think it was probably clear what my only choice was and he answered all my questions. satisfactorily. I feel much more comfortable with his doing the procedure than the other sports medicine guy.

My only complaint is that I wish there was more one-on-one time with the doctor. I think I spoke to him for less than ten minutes, and then he was gone.

Wait to see the doctor was minimal. Dr Kanaan was knowledgeable, friendly, and explained my problem with layman’s terms. He agreed to start treatment at the most conservative level and progress to a higher level if necessary. Overall, I was extremely pleased with the visit.

I am a runner and generally run about 50 miles per week. In December I began experiencing pain behind my knee. It was not severe and I kept running. In January I suddenly experienced severe pain in my upper calf right below where I had previously experienced the knee pain. I went to a large orthopedic group in town who treated me with an anti inflammatory and then later with a cortisone shot. Neither of these did anything to resolve the problem. Because the orthopedist suspected a problem with my meniscus he said the next step would be an MRI.I went to Dr. Kanaan for a second opinion. He diagnosed the problem as a Bakers cyst caused by irritation in the knee and drained the area using an ultrasound machine to make sure that he got to the right spot. This was quick and easy. He then gave me a series of three injections in the knee over the next few weeks of a lubricant to ease the knee irritation. By the third injection I felt no pain at all and was back to training. Thanks to this treatment I was able to compete in and finish the Boston Marathon last week--a lifelong dream. I recommend Dr. Kanaan to any runner who wants to get off the sideline and back in the game.

I visited this place based on Google review. (5 starts as you can see) Dr.Kanaan was very NOT engaging, looked tired, and did not bother to come back into the room when I had additional question. After visiting another facility that specialize in athletes knee/ankle/leg injuries, I found out that the recovery method Dr.Kanaan has recommended is a very old one. I was not given Doctors note on the day I was promised and I had to call back for a reminder and to get it on the next day I was promised. I rarely ever leave review, but I am doing it for this place because I hope that my review helps others to think twice before they make a judgement based on 5 star google review.
