Telamon Corp is a company that has failed many applicants and continues to do so day after day. How many people have to suffer because of Telamons lack of employees and leadership. The fake promises made are unacceptable for a company in charge of a federally funded rental assistance program. They lack organizational skills, communication skills, and leadership. The applicant calls repeatedly and gets no response because “they are working from home because of Covid. “ Really, or is it a lack of employees and not able to handle a contract of this magnitude?Promises are made, never kept, and renters with eviction court looming Telamon still does not care at all.Telamon states on their website that they “empower individuals and improve communities”!!! If that is a fact, then the many applicants that wait day after day hoping for an email or a call would not be in limbo, not knowing where to go or what to do. If anything, Telamon gives renters false hope that they would see a way out from homelessness if they just applied. Instead, they are facing their problem alone.To all applicants, because the federal government funds this program, call your senators and complain. Make them aware of what you are going through and give them examples. Send emails and stand up for what you deserve as a resident of Wake county. The money was allocated to help and not to sit in a company’s hands, never used for its purpose.I found out today that Durham county processes their application in two weeks, and other counties complete theirs in less than twenty-one days. What is the difference between Wake and the other counties? It seems that Telamon was not prepared to handle the renter relief program.

I’m a bit nervous. I got the approval from my counselor Christa Anderson. My landlord and I have waited for weeks just to sign documents in DocuSign. Continue to email, leave voicemail and call Christa. I’m not getting anywhere. My landlord has been extremely patient. My hope is that Christa will at least respond to our emails and phone calls. I am afraid of being homeless. I certainly hope Telamon can provide better communication and time frame

I have been working with my caseworker Craig Powe since end of July. I have gotten as far as finally being approved for funds, to now it being October finding out he no longer works there. Now me and my landlord can’t get in contact with anyone to get the funds they approved me for. The lack of professionalism and communication is terrible. This is harming people than doing them good! I don’t usually do bad reviews but this is insane.

Hello to the Telamon team! I would like to take the time to thank you all for your time and efforts helping during these trying times. I’ve personally met Keith, one of the awesome team members and I can’t express enough how diligent he was to help me get through this rough time. I personally lost a business, along with a lot of other individuals, due to COVID 19. You guys have definitely been a blessing and I thank you again sincerely!!!

These are the absolute WORST people!!! I’m not getting the help that I was approved for and no one will ever call you back or even answer the phone. Rebekah Hwang is TERRIBLE to work with. She does not reply to your emails in regards to your rent being paid and she is a liar. Telamon has created a bad rental history for me now with all the late payments & I can’t get approved ANYWHERE!! I am taking this as far as I can take it.. I am done!!

Here is an update. I am 6-7 weeks into the process and I have heard nothing. I keep emailing and calling and there is no response. Initially I was with one specialist and I would keep calling and emailing her and would get no response then I got an email from a different specialist that they were my new one. They made it seem the process was starting all over. I have repeatedly emailed him and the main email, I have called both the direct line and the main line and have left voicemails and have heard nothing. I do not understand how millions of US dollars was entrusted to a company that has zero customer service. We need some type of answer or update.

I have been on the application process since being introduced to telamonand the response I’m getting from the workers is nothing anytime I have called they were rushed me off the phone and say a case worker would reach out to you I have been on the application processing prices the beginning of June people who have applied after me have gotten a case worker and moved on with the process . Which is hard for me to understand when some of the workers were saying it’s first come first serve but it’s not. I got a call a couple of days ago about getting my caseworker and they said I should have an email that same day and nothing .. I have been so steady and trying to really get some help because God knows I need it but these people and their communication are really off.. especially now since they don’t answer phone calls .

This place has been an absolute nightmare. I worked with Jaida Grant and there was promise after promise my rent was going to be paid from June to September. My landlord has never gotten any form of payment and now they want me to move out of my residence. Im disabled and was deeply Impacted by covid. This place has really messed my situation up and Madeira significantly worse. So many calls and emails and nothing.

I have been working with Tiffany since April. I have had to send in my paper work over and over again to not get a email or phone call back. I have been calling and everything to find out what is going on and no one is calling or emailing back. I just hope they say something

This company is not helping like they said they would. Signed up in June of 2021 had 2 different workers. In Late September was told I need to reapply cause its been so long. I did that and still havent heard nothing. HOW IS ONE TO CONTACT SOMEONE TO GET QUESTIONS ANSWERED
