I recently had a massage with Marie and it was so relaxing. My spa started out with a warm foot bath while I relaxed by the fireplace. They also offered cucumber water, hot tea, and snacks. And, then my massage. The linens were soft and the bed was heated. Marie used essential oils and provided several for me to select from. I went with a blend. The massage was bliss and exactly what I needed. She encouraged me to continue to focus on my breath by taking occasional deep breaths. I also appreciated the warm towels she used throughout the treatment. I would definitely schedule with her again. The spacious locker room was a bonus and the fountain inside just added to the calming ambience. I found the staff to be friendly and helpful.

My husband treated me to a massage at Healing Springs Spa for my birthday. It was my first time and my experience was a delightful one. Immediately when I walked in I was greeted warmly and directed to the womens locker room which was clean and well organized. I placed my belongings there and sat in the waiting room where they played relaxing music and had healthy refreshments. My massage therapist asked me about my problem areas and then we began the session - 1 hour for massage and then 30 minutes for a foot bath. The foot bath made my feet feel soft and smooth. My only con is that I felt quite cold in the facility. It was already a chilly fall day combined with the fact that it was cold during my massage. A plus is that there is a great shopping area where the spa is located for your retail therapy needs! Overall, my experience was a pleasant one and I plan on coming back!

I got a last-minute same day facial appointment which was awesome. The staff was friendly and accommodating, making sure i was comfortable and relaxed. I saw Fallon and really liked her, she did a great consultation and two days after my skin is looking great. I’d recommend her to anyone looking for a customized experience tailored to your skin needs. I wasn’t the biggest fan of the spa itself, though. Service prices are competitive with other nearby spas, but I felt like I was slightly overcharged for a strip mall location.

I am so absolutely thrilled with the exceptional care and attention Ive received at Healing Springs! I received a Spa Finder gift card for my birthday and was delighted to find that I could use it here. Hooray!!! By the way, the monthly memberships (massage and facials) are fantastic deals and I highly recommend them!! They also offer many different options to financing such as Care Credit, etc. :) Rosalyn and Dr. Franklin have united the best in medical spa services and customer service and have the vision to deliver the very best this area has to offer. My partner and I visited yesterday for a massage and facial each and the massage therapist and esthetician that took care of us were so wonderful! I am terrible at remembering names but they were extremely professional, knowledgeable and truly cared about us and our needs. I loved hearing about why they were using certain techniques during their services and it shows how well educated they are and that they cater their services towards each individual specifically. Also, the receptionist was so sweet and kind and overall the staff is amazing! We will definitely be back!

One of the best kept secrets in Raleigh/Durham area. Ive been going since they opened and continue to get excellent, consistent services. There is low turnover and services continue to expand. They offer frequent specials and I cant say enough good things about their staff. After trying the other high-end spas, I continue to come back to this local favorite.

Same experience as everyone else. Hard to book an appointment. Ended up finally getting the massage but didnt have other services promised by groupon and it was only a 60 min massage rather than 90 min. To be honest I wish I had gotten a refund instead cause the massage made my back feel worse not better. This place should just stop taking new clients and go out of business already.

Dont book any service with them and please leave a review. This kind of places need to be accountable of their bad service.

I have been attempting to book an appointment since April. I was able to get someone on the phone the first time I called, to which I was told there was no availability until August. Since then I have called a couple times a week, multiple times throughout the day and never get anyone on the phone. The mailbox is full so you cannot leave a message. I have tried to book online and I still get no response. Now my voucher says that it was redeemed on Wednesday June 13th, of which I can assure you my husband and I were not getting 90 minute massages. Although we would have gladly taken that slot had we been able to get someone on the phone to book it. From recent reviews it seems that multiple people have had these same issues with communication and false redemption on the voucher.Had I been able to book my anniversary couples massage I am sure it would have been fantastic but due to lack of communication, lying about redemption of vouchers and no other way to book services short of just showing up, I have initiated a trade in/refund with Groupon and issued 1 star.Buyers Beware.

I had a horrible time here. My appointments were constantly being rescheduled because the nurse performing ultashape has anothe job on call and would get called in. I paid for a 3 series treatment before moving which was a huge mistake because after assuring me they could get me in for all 3 treatments they did not. It took multiple phone calls to get any refund, and when I finally did it was not for the full amount of my last treatment.

Ive had multiple contacts with this spa, and I just cant imagine having anything more done there. I had microderm years ago, had an appointment with a doctor recently to discuss having other services completed, and just attempted to make an appointment to have a service. Each time I have contact with a staff person at this place, the experience is unpleasant. The staff are rude, arrogant, and condescending. Most recently, I spoke with a scheduling person who was so rude it was shocking. There are so many wonderful places in Durham to have spa services completed, it is time this group began to treat clients with respect. I spend thousands of dollars on spa treatments every year; I can only imagine how much business they lose because of bad customer service. I am only writing this after multiple unpleasant interactions.

Very happy with Healing Waters, and here are the reasons why:Botox: Kristin is a true artist. I’ve seen other places advertise really low cost per unit, but if they don’t know where or how to inject it properly, you are wasting your money.Dr. Franklin takes time to answer your questions, explain your process, and what to expect during your procedure. He makes himself available and accessible as needed. Make sure you’ve done your research and ask questions until you have the answers you need. Dr. Franklin always answered my questions, and not once did I feel as if I was bothering him or asking a “dumb” question. I would confidently recommend Dr. Franklin to friends and family.Roslyn has always been gracious and patient every time I’ve interacted with her. I had to postpone one of my follow-up appointments this week, and Roslyn called to make sure everything was ok and to ensure I had no issues or complications. All this reminds me of the saying – “People don’t care how much you know until they know how much you care.” I am very happy with the care of Healing Waters.

We purchased the Romantic Couples Spa Day package.Romantic Couples Spa Day Experience with 90-Minute Massage includes:Two 90-minute massagesWhirlpool floating session for two peopleComplimentary foot soakUse of spa robes and slippersAssortment of fruit and wineAccess to spa relaxation roomOur reservation was cancelled and rescheduled 3 times:1st time: we arrived, had a glass of wine, took a bath in what was a small hot tub, not a whirlpool floating session... No big deal. So were naked, ready for our massage, and the manager comes in to cancel with us. They didnt have the message therapists there to give us a massage. They rescheduled and assured us wed get the full treatment the second time.2nd time: they cancelled the night before our 11AM massage.3rd time: they cancelled our 11AM massage at 9:15am as we were getting ready. They did so over text and informed us we were going to be rescheduled for August. We didnt like this, so we called. They rescheduled us the next day.4th time: we got there and got the massage. There was *nothing* else in the package included. No whirlpool soak, no foot soak, no fruit and wine, no relaxation room.Honestly the entire experience wasnt enjoyable and I wouldnt recommend it to anyone. I couldnt relax, and thats the point of the massage.

I purchased a Groupon for a couples massage here back in March 2018. When I tried to schedule an appointment, they said they were booked at least 3 months out. So I waited until my husband and I could figure out the best date. Then in June, I happened to check my Groupon account, and my voucher said it was redeemed. I hadnt even scheduled an appointment at this time. Thankfully, I was able to get Groupons customer service to unredeem it. Based on many of the Google reviews for this place, Healing Springs Spa was just going through and redeeming peoples Groupons even if they hadnt visited. Not cool. After that, I was worried we were going to get screwed over so I called again to book an appointment. Again, they were booked for at least 3 months and were about to move to a new location, much further away. Okay, fine, so I booked an appointment for October. As our appointment day approached, I never received any sort of confirmation communications. Meanwhile, a ton of reviews have been posted in recent months regarding issues with Groupons and LivingSocial deals or last-minute cancellations (even cancellations after clients arrived!). I called Healing Springs Spa several times to try to confirm our appointment, and never heard back. Since their new/temporary location is 45 minutes from our house, we didnt want to risk driving all the way out there to get cancelled on. So I called Groupon and explained the situation. It turns out Groupon has since cancelled their deal with this place because Healings Springs was failing to honor the Groupons and has horrendous customer service in general. Thankfully, Groupon gave us a full refund and we decided not to risk the long drive for what would have been a cancelled appointment. We never even got a call about not showing up. We are very disappointed because we were looking forward to the couples massage, and I am displeased with the lack of communication on behalf of Healing Springs Spa. Based on my experience and a lot of the recent reviews, I would stay far away from this place.

While I cannot speak to the facilities or services provided, I cannot believe the poor quality of customer service at this establishment. I had purchased a couples spa package on Groupon 2 months ago. When I just called to schedule it, I was told that they are booked throughout December, & the receptionist then told me that I should request a refund through Groupon (which I reluctantly did, despite actually looking forward to getting the services advertised). The most frustrating thing to me is that they are STILL selling this package on Groupon, yet are turning clients away who already purchased it! This only leads me to believe they are hoping to get money from people who forget to request a refund through Groupon?! In any case, its exceptionally poor customer service for them to not even attempt to honor a financial agreement. I can only thank Groupon for agreeing to a full refund (instead of a voucher for another Groupon service) since this was no fault of my own.

I called to explain this to LivingSocial that I did not use it and I have called this place of business four times and left messages about this with no return phone call. LivingSocial said they contacted healing Springs and they told them that I did redeem my voucher. This is a complete lie I did not redeem the voucher nor have I been to this business.. As a recent reviewer stated: BUYERS BEWARE.I purchased a Groupon for a couples massage. I called in February (planned WELL in advance) to make an appointment for April 21 at 3 pm. My boyfriend’s birthday is April 20th so I wanted to surprise him. On the morning of April 21st, excited for our couple’s massage, I checked my phone and saw I had a voicemail from the spa stating that my appointment was canceled. I called and asked if we could reschedule and they said the soonest available appointment was not until June. I reluctantly agreed at the time and told myself I would deal with it later. In the days following, I reached out to the spa again, as waiting several additional months was not an option (this was a birthday gift remember). I kindly explained the situation and the owner assured me that she could accommodate us sooner. She told me a certain time that we could come in, and I told her I would call her back to confirm since I would have to coordinate schedules with my boyfriend and make sure he could go. When I called her back (PROMPTLY) she avoided my calls and never reached back out. With this unusual behavior, I decided to call the spa directly and check with the receptionists if the owner had ever booked my appointment as promised. The staff was very confused and said they were fully booked and did not know why the owner would tell me that. The woman I spoke with assured me that she would speak with the owner and reach back out to me once she figured out what was going on.I never received a call back from the receptionist or the owner, so I called the spa again later in the day. Another receptionist spoke with me and also did not understand why the owner was lying to me. I explained that at this point I would just prefer a refund because they clearly could not provide a timely appointment for us. The receptionist said she would have to talk to the owner and get back to me.The following morning I received TEXT MESSAGES from the owner stating that she made an appointment for me that afternoon. The request for a refund was never acknowledged. I reluctantly agreed to the appointment but still had a feeling that the owner was B.S.ing me, so I called the spa again. The same receptionist that I spoke with on the previous day explained that they did not have me booked for an appointment that afternoon. I asked why the owner continues lying to me and why she is texting me personally instead of working out the scheduling with her actual staff. At this point, again, I ask for a refund and she explains that I should go through Groupon’s customer service.Groupon’s process to refund a groupon marked “redeemed” is to contact the establishment to confirm that services were never received, and then they mark it un-redeemed. I spoke with a nice customer service rep at Groupon and he explained that they would reach back out in a couple days with a resolution.Today Groupon emails me: “We have already confirmed with Healing Springs Spa regarding your voucher for Romantic Couples Spa Day Experience with 90-Minute Massage that you have already set up an appointment for 06/11/2018 and you will have no issues while redeeming the services.”EVERYONE AT THIS SPA, INCLUDING THE OWNER, KNOWS THAT I WANT A REFUND AND I DO NOT WANT TO COME IN JUNE.IS THIS A JOKE?? I DO NOT WANT AN APPOINTMENT SEVERAL MONTHS AFTER MY ORIGINAL APPOINTMENT WAS SCHEDULED AND I DO NOT WANT TO DEAL WITH THIS PLACE ANY MORE. GIVE ME A REFUND. IT IS NOT THAT DIFFICULT. YOU CANNOT FORCE SOMEONE TO BE YOUR CUSTOMER. I JUST WANT A REFUND.

They told me I was going to get a reminder a week in advance to confirm the appointment. One day before the appointment and nobody had called me to confirm the appointment. I had to call them myself to confirm the date and time. The date of the appointment I get a call 3 hours before the service to tell me that one of the massage therapist would not be able to come so they offered my to have one massage and one facial. Not what I was planning for a romantic couples sessions but I said OK.5 minutes later I get another call telling me they wanted to confirm the address. I said, sure I have the address, it is on the groupon, then she said the they could not give me the service at that location due to some construction or something else. After all this trouble I was still willing to go and get the service and then, when I asked for more details about all the changes, the first thing she told me was, so you want to cancel? It looked like she wanted me to cancel. I told her I was not happy about the whole communication and she kept insisting I could cancel with Groupon if I wanted.Very disappointed. I should have looked at the bad reviews before buying the groupon.

Buyer Beware. I purchased a Groupon for a couples massage in January. The massage was scheduled for 3/31 at 3 PM. My boyfriend drove all the way from Charlotte for the massage. Upon arrival at the spa, we were informed by the receptionist that the second masseuse was unavailable and that the owner was supposed to have contacted me to reschedule. Extremely disappointing, but I understand that miscommunications happen. I was also informed that I could reach out to Groupon to receive a refund and that the couples massage would be complimentary. The receptionist told me that the owner would be in touch shortly. This all seemed fair. Upon on arriving home, I reached out to Groupon to obtain my refund and was informed that the Groupon had been redeemed on 3/30. I told Groupon this was impossible as our appointment was scheduled for 3/31 and we never received our massage. Groupon informed me that they had contacted the owner who had confirmed that it had been claimed. Again, this is impossible because we never received our massage. It has been three days since the incident and I am yet to hear from the owner. I took it upon myself to call again today and was told, yet again, that the owner would give me a call later today to work out the issue. I am extremely dissatisfied with the level of customer service and the lack of resolution to this problem.

I purchased a Couples Spa Day Experience with 90-Minute Massage from Groupon to try Healing Springs for the first time. I am surprised I didn’t know about this place sooner as it is in a popular shopping center across from Southpoint Mall. The atmosphere here is amazing, someone has gone out of his or her way to create an upscale, clean, and relaxing environment. The mens/womens locker rooms provide you with an area to change into your robe and slippers and secure your personal belongings. Once changed we sat in the relaxation room flanked with a water feature and a gas fireplace to enjoy a small glass wine and a foot soak. The two ladies taking care of us were Elsie (?spelling) and Samantha were wonderful every step of the way, giving directions and ensuring we wanted for nothing. The whirlpool was great but the water was VERY hot when we tried to get in and had to spend precious time trying to add cold water to it. I did like that, they set it on a timer so I could shut my eyes and not worry about what time it was. Our massages followed but were completed in different rooms. I enjoyed the heated bed but with the hot soak beforehand, I was pretty hot, my husband stated the same thing. The massage was very relaxing and I am positive I slept though half of it. As with all spa experiences things never last long enough. I did take a look at their regular pricing and was kind of shocked at how much a couples massage would be full price. We normally go to Wellville Massage & Healing Arts where their prices are much more reasonable but Healing Springs does have a better atmosphere. My husband and I are spoiled from a spa we visit each year in Mexico but this experience was one of the nicer ones I have had stateside. I would rate them higher if it was not for that fact and we plan to go again to enjoy a deep tissue massage next time.

Buyers beware. Poorly run business. Dishonest business. We had a LivingSocial for a “romantic couples spa day experience”. It was marked ‘redeemed’ in June before we even made an appointment. I immediately called about the mix up and scheduled an appointment. It was difficult to get in touch to schedule the appointment. I spoke with someone at one point who said they would call me back, and never did. Once the appointment was made, I confirmed the location only to be told that the location was closed (had we not asked we would not have shown up at the right place). Upon further questioning, I was told it was only a massage - not the ‘spa day experience’ we purchased. I cancelled the appointment as the location was not convenient and we were not going to receive what was listed on the LivingSocial. I contacted LivingSocial for a refund. Unfortunately, Healing Springs is being dishonest and reporting we used the services. Therefore, no refund from LivingSocial.

I have never experienced such poor customer service.Wednesday, April 23rd, I called Healing Waters to schedule two massages for Saturday, April 26th. They said they could schedule me for 1:45 pm for one massage and a facial. I was very pleased. On Thursday, April 24th I received an email and phone call from Roslyn rescheduling my appointments to 10:00 am (a little different from 1:45pm). Unfortunately, I did not see the email or the phone call until Friday, as I had a VIP in town that I was entertaining. When I noticed the appointment time had changed drastically I called Healing Waters. Meredith answered and explained that she was unsure why the appointment time had changed, but if we could take the 10:00 am appointment time Healing Waters would discount the services. I explained that the appointment was for a visiting VIP my company had in town, so I would need to confirm this was okay with her and rearrange her schedule. After confirming I could move things around for my VIP, I called Healing Waters back later that day. A different young woman answered the phone (I did not catch her name), and I explained the situation with her. After mentioning the discount, she told me to hold a moment. This is when Roslyn got on the phone with me.I believe the easiest way to explain what happened is to type out the conversation, but please understand this will not be word for word. I will do the best I can to remember exactly how it went. Also, please note the only tone Roslyn used with me was a very aggressive tone, as if I upset her. Although she was aggressive, I remained calm the whole time, since I had no choice but to go through with the VIPs massage.Roslyn - Ummm, Gini I gave you a call two days ago (which I went back to check and the call was the day before) to speak with you about rescheduling your appointment and you never called me back. We dont discount services for this reason.Gini - I was just told that we could receive a discount for the services, since Healing Waters changed the appointment time.Roslyn - Well I tried to call you two days ago and you never called me back, so we will not discount the services. I had to mark off the girls schedule at 1:30 (I believe was the time), so she can only take you at 10:00 am. You can take it or not (I could not believe she just said that!!!).Gini - Okay, I dont believe I have a choice at this point. I think she mentioned the discount because this was for a VIP and I had to rearrange her whole schedule.Roslyn - Well who is the VIP (I found this to be very rude. To be blunt that is not Healing Waters business).Gini - A VIP for my company.Roslyn - Well we will discount her services, but not yours.Gini - Its unfortunate that I did not see your call.Roslyn - Well I called you.Gini - I was not insinuating that you did not call me. I was just saying it is unfortunate that I did not see your call.Roslyn - You know what, how about I will just discount your services too, so you dont have a bad taste in your mouth about us. Is that good?Gini - Thank you.Roslyn - Okay, bye. (She then hung up). After trying to get in touch with Roslyns boss for two days, I received this email from her,Dear Ms. Sowards,I am so sorry this happened. At Healing Wates, we work to exceed expectations and it sounds like we could not even meet them. Thank you for bringing this to my attention. I will address the internal problems and work to ensure that this never happens again. I hope that you will give Healing Waters another chance to provide with you the services I know we can provide.
