I’m very happy with the care my Delilah receives at Veterinary Care Anywhere!I recently had to bring Delilah in for what I suspected was a UTI, and Dr. Marlon made sure to call me before he did any tests. He explained everything to me thoroughly, and when a staff member brought Delilah back out, she went over everything again.I used to work in a vet’s office and Delilah had 2 other vets before we moved to Raleigh - Dr. Marlon and his staff are by far the most professional and friendly. I don’t think they’re any more expensive than any other vet out there - vet care is just expensive sometimes. Excellent, kind-hearted, knowledgeable vet. I adopted a cat who was *very* very badly abused during her first 2 years of life. She was frequently grabbed and thrown against walls, so shes terrified of hands. Dr Marlon was so patient and kind, essentially moving in slow motion so that Jupiter could easily track his hands and therefore could relax a little. Very kind, patient, and loving person.

Marlon did an excellent job with Kubo, my 2 year old Doberman/Poodle mix. He did a thorough exam and took the time to answer all my questions and concerns in-person and over the phone. My pets are like my kids so I tend to ask a lot of questions but Marlon is so patient, understanding, and respectful that it was honestly a joy to speak with him. Ill be taking all my pets to Marlon from now on!!!

We have a pet who is averse to any nail trims, check ups etc. Somehow Marlon found a way to deal with her. He always puts the health and well-being of the animals above all else. I would certainly recommend him and his team in the Raleigh area.

We started using Dr. Marlon when he offered mobile services as we have a very difficult cat. The vet we were using would place our cat to sleep to do a basic exam and any vaccines which I did not like nor did I think was good for my cat. During Dr. Marlon’s transition to brick and mortar we tried another vet hospital which refused to touch our cat and the vet tech who was afraid of cats to start with threatened to call animal control (even though our cat was only sitting in the carrier growling). Dr Marlon has always been willing to provide the care our difficult cat needs and I appreciate that so much. We adopted another cat a couple of years ago and there was no question that we would take to Dr. Marlon as well.

I made the mistake of coming here twice - for the same issue with my cat. Both times the doctor injected her with a bunch of things she probably didn’t even need - and the worst part is, he did it BEFORE ever getting my consent/approval. This is not professional or ethical. Would a doctor be allowed to do that at a pediatrician’s office? Absolutely not. How is this different?I let it go the first time, but confronted him the second time. He came out and argued with me and suggested I have memory issues due to not remembering him discussing those things with me…He gave me like 5 potential diagnoses and kept changing his mind - making it sound so complex, when in reality it’s probably a very simple problem and solution. It’s $1,000 later and he still hasn’t figured out what’s wrong with her and I have no answers. He put her though a bunch of tests and procedures, even hooked her up to an IV, because she was “slightly dehydrated” - again without telling me. It’s as if he keeps looking for problems that aren’t even there just to rip you off. My cat went home both times extremely disoriented, sat staring at the wall, and was not even able to groom herself until whatever they did to her wore off. He has sent me home with like 9 different medicines. They sure do know how to up-sell you.This place cost me $1,000 from just 2 visits, and I still have no answer as to what’s wrong with my cat.

I have known and worked with Dr. Marlon since he was a very young vet right out of school. He is always very professional and caring towards the animals and the pet owners.

Dr Marlon Sequiera has cared for my senior bassets for years now. I started with him in a previous location before he moved his practice to Raleigh. I spent a year in Raleigh for work and was lucky enough to find Dr. Marlon. I recused a kitten who ended up suffering from FIP. It has been such a long process and I can honestly say I wouldnt have made it through without Dr. Marlon and his staff. Not only is Dr. Marlon kind, caring, and knowledgeable but he always makes time to dive in and explain complicated things so that you can understand and digest them. There were some mornings I called right as they opened for an emergency visit and they always worked me in right away. For me, that was especially important when my cat was dealing with a life threatening illness. Although I couldnt join my pet in the exam room (covid), I always felt that they were in safe, competent hands (Im one of those super anxious pet parents who trusts no one).I NEVER left the office feeling like it was over-priced or that my pets didnt receive adequate care. In fact, I ALWAYS left feeling understood, satisfied, and of course, less anxious than when I first arrived. I really cant say enough positive things about Dr. Marlon. If you are tight on money and only need a certain thing done to the animal they take it apon themselves do extra stuff and charge you without asking in advance to do it. I shouldn’t even paid for it but I was tired and bin there for 2 hrs. Didn’t feel like sitting there arguing with them. But next time they do this I’m going to give them a ultimatum ether take the extra stuff that they did off the bill or I’m not paying a penny

I am writing this review to point out that if you do not agree with your vet, not satisfied with the service or cost, do not hesitate to look elsewhere.This is the best vet Ive used since Ive been in N.C. I came across them by accident. I was having a difference of opinion with a my vet at the time. My baby has a heart problem and is on medication for life. My vet at the time was filling her prescription without additional office visits and then said she had to come in to get a refill. I did not like the change my vet threw at me, so I chose to pay another vet for an office visit and refill. Dr. Marlon took care of the refill at a reasonable cost. I told them I wish they werent so far away.My baby has suffered severe weight loss since she was diagnosed with a heart murmur and I chose another vet nearby. This vet said it could be because she had a tooth infection. Keep in mind her eating habit had not changed any. Also, I was put out because she had just had her teeth cleaned and several teeth pulled about two years prior. I found it odd that she could have an infection in that short of a time. The vet gave me an extremely high estimate to address the infection, which included a deep clean. I told the vet I only wanted to address the infection and did not want the cleaning. The vet told me I had to have the cleaning.That bought me back to Dr. Marlon. Dr. Marlon gave me a cheaper price to address the infection, including the lowest to highest cost with out seeing her first. When we went in, she did not get any work on the infection because Dr. Marlon was concerned about her low weight. She was down to 8.8 lbs., so Dr. Marlon addressed that. She was extremely dehydrated and had to be put on fluids. Neither of the other vets said anything about dehydration and was willing to put her under with her extremely low weight. This was around January. I am now trying to put some weight on her. She saw Dr. Marlon again around March and weighed in at 10 lbs. Her weight has been going up and down, but I can see a noticeable difference. Before she saw Dr. Marlon, you could see every bone in her body and every rib. Now she has to be in a certain position to see her ribs. Before she saw Dr. Marlon, all she did was sleep. After Dr. Marlon, she has had a couple of times when she actually did a very small amount of trying to run with the other dogs. That made me so happy and excited. Also, when I took my other baby for his yearly check up and shots, the total cost was significantly less, including a years supply of heart worm medicine. I now have to drive further for vet care, but am happy to do so if Dr. Marlon continues to be this good and reasonably priced.

Love this vet he and the staff are awesome when our beloved roscoe passed they were quick to get us what we needed as far as cremation and paw prints as well as when we lossed our zuse. Love the staff.

Dr. Marlon has been our vet for a few years now. I love the convenience of having him come to the house and so do the dogs. We have two rescues and one is very touchy so it helps immensely to comfort and calm him. Dr. Marlon gave us references for the rescue groups that I adopted from and he was there for us during the lose of our last fur-children. I also really like that he works with NCSU students and treats these visits as teaching experiences. I work at the University and love that we are all part of the Pack!

Found my new vet. Have a cat with an infected claw and the staff was very personable and explained everything going on. The vet took the time to do everything right and get my cat back to normal. I’m very satisfied in the service I received, and the prices are way better than other places I’ve been. Will be bringing all my pets here.

Tried to upsell me multiple things and saying things were wrong with my dog that they werent. For example saying my dog had yeast issues in her ear and wanted me to buy antibiotic pills and ear drops. They said it was because ears were warm. They are never warm, maybe because you just stuck her with a needle and wouldnt let me come back with her when she had separation issues. Came out within 10 min and also said she had tick issue among other things. Getting my dog weighed, full look over and a blood test in 10 minutes? She is an extremely healthy dog with no issues, I was just getting a general check up. Didnt want to take the chance so spent all the money for it all. Then as soon as I started meds I also got second opinion from private professional with 12 yr experience and she said there was no issues with ears and meds werent even needed.I didnt know vets were like oil shops always trying to get an upsell on you. Imagine how many animals are being forced non needed meds here. Came here because of great reviews but cant come in, cant comfort dog and the doctor on phone was just trying to upsell me and move on to next. Wont be coming back.

There have been many good (and not so good) veterinary clinics in the area, but this one is truly exceptional. I found them helping a friend through a loss (they do offer mobile services at reasonable rates) and have since felt so blessed to have such reliably great care available for my animals. I could go on too long about the advantages and integrity of this practice (knowledge, client education, charges, commitment to purpose) but Dr. Marlon and staff simply won’t fall short of expectations. Finally, decided to get a 3rd opinion on what was described as a rare internal medicine/neurology case, but Dr. Marlon figured it out in an hour after a very detailed history and physical exam (and looking through 30+ pages of previous labs and paperwork). Love this place! Dr Marlon saved my pets life. After years of sickness and surgery, my dog had a seizure. Around the same time, he started using the bathroom inside, staggering and sometimes falling when he walked. Our previous vet just gave him more pain meds which left him vomiting and lethargic. After one visit to Veterinary Care Anywhere and Dr Sequeira, we not only had diagnosis but he also corrected our dogs medication and gave us a treatment plan for home. He addressed every single concern and put genuine thought into our dogs age and individual needs. At 12, Maks is bouncing around like a puppy again! Strongly recommend.

Me and my German Shepard/Rottweiler (Tara) moved to North Carolina in 2017. It took a little while to find Dr. Sequeira, but we won’t go anywhere else now. He has been absolutely the best veterinarian we have seen yet. Common sense, very intelligent, active listener. He works with you, no matter what. I’m going to take all the cats there now. Simply the best!

I highly recommend bringing ones pet in to see Dr. Marlon and his great group of technicians. The care they provide for every animal that enters the building is exceptional. Took my cat, Lorelai, to see Dr. Marlon. He is absolutely determined that the animals that see him are relaxed and stress-free. He plays soothing music and the exam rooms are brightly lit with natural sunlight. Lorelai, who normally hates strange places was much more at-ease than I expected her to be. He was not at all rushed in treating my cat. He walked me through every step of her care to ensure I was knowledgeable in caring for her when I took her home (rather than just handing me a pamphlet and sending me on my way). It was clear he cares about animals. Cannot recommend enough.

My dog Molly was recently suffering from an ear infection. Dr. Marlon was compassionate and thorough. He took the time to get a full picture of Molly’s symptoms, and patiently answered my questions in a way that was easy to understand. He not only helped with the immediate problem (ear infection) but also offered insights into what might be underlying it so that we can take a more preventive approach in the future. TL;DR: Rude staff and the vet pumped my cat full of medicines that she did not need, and sent me home with more that she did not need.. She was lethargic and came home way worse off than how she was when we brought her there, (not eating, sleeping, or drinking for two days, could not get comfortable) and that´s never happened before.I recently took my 8 year old cat Luna to this vets office, trying it for the first time. Theyre really good with social distancing procedure, and one lady was really nice, while the other one that greeted us and gave us the form to fill out was not nice at all, and very standoffish. I took Luna to the vet for a respiratory problem. We would take her to a vet out in knightdale, Smithfield Road Vet, and they would give her a shot or a dose by the mouth and she´d feel much better. The vet at this establishment pumped her with three different shots, an IV, a sedative, AND an oral medication (despite me giving him the concept that she does not do good with oral meds). When she was given the oral medication, she salivated so much it went all the way to the floor of the room, I saw it through the window. When I got her back in the car, she was still salivating, and her whole fur was wet and matted. When he talked to me, he spoke way too fast and not in a clear manner as to where I did not understand him at all, and was completely overwhelmed. He racked up a $380 vet bill, pumping her full of meds just for me to find out she had a food allergy. She came home and did not eat or drink as she was doing so prior to the appointment. She could barely walk, and did not sleep for two days. She has NEVER ever done that before as she normally will come home and curl up in my lap. He pumped her with way too much medicine when all she needed was one simple corizone shot and for him to tell me to change her food.Shes much better now, but I will never trust him with my pet again.

Our daughter brought us, with our only cat to Dr. Marlon S. Due to our inability to pay for a full physical for our cat, our daughter took this on, and brought us to the best Vet in the Triangle. In the past we always brought our pets to a vet for physicals and illness. This cat was not ill, but had not had a full physical in several years. We are both retired and on S.S. so we had little extra money. Dr. S was unbelievable, he was more thorough than any vet we had used in the past. Our cat was treated gently and like a special patient. We found out that she is mostly blind. We were unaware of this and never noticed any change. We do not know why this occurred. We adopted this loving ball of fur from a Petco in Garner 10 years ago. We were amazed at the kindness, thoroughness and loving care and understanding toward us and our cat. Thank you so much for all you provided. I only wish you were closer geographically for us to access. Thank you always.

I can say without any hesitation that Dr Marlon and team have been the best vet weve brought our pack to. We have two dogs and cat, and so far weve had the pleasure of bringing our dog Trooper and cat Esper to them, having recently moved to the area. Dr Marlon is the most detailed and informative vet weve worked with, explaining exactly whats going on and the science behind it. Weve brought them in for yearly checkups, and most recently, they accommodated us on short notice when our buddy Trooper was having a sudden problem, especially with all the challenges in place due to COVID. What impressed us the most is the above and beyond communication and dedication they have showed. Answering our questions via email, even after hours, staying in touch so we could be sure to figure out exactly what was going on with Trooper. Our furry family is in good hands with them, and we look forward to working with them in the future.

We have a very anxious and bigger (~ 90 lbs) dog that 4-5 vets told us they couldnt see him because he is too aggressive and they wanted to fully sedate him for everything including just trimming nails. I found out about Dr. Marlon through word of mouth and had heard good things, but he brings a lot more to the table than you will ever know. My dog did so well with him with a muzzle and some distractions and even let him trim his nails which has never been done in a vets office! Also, to top it off, my vicious dog was NOT taken to the back to be held down by 3 people, but a less is better approach was a very good experience for my dog and myself and was done right in the examination room with me present the whole time. 5 stars is an understatement...you wont find another veterinarian even close to Dr. Marlon. He is a great vet and a very intelligent, kind, trustworthy person. I trust Dr. Marlon and his Integrity and his amazing Veterinary Care Anywhere Animal Hospital Team... Highly Recommended!

I have a 60lb hound who absolutely hates getting check ups and shots. She usually has to be sedated for vets to handle her. Dr Marlon was able to work with her without any sedation! It blew my mind! He is so great with her that I’ll be taking my other dogs to him from now on! The prices are very reasonable and the office space is nice and open. I cannot recommend him enough!

Dr. Marlon is an excellent vet! We have 2 cats (one that has recently undergone significant health issues and a surgery) and one puppy under his care. We have taken our pets to see him for sick visits, urgent incidents, check-ups, and for our puppys spay surgery. He is extremely thorough and caring, and he takes time not only to ensure the best for our animals but also to make sure we are educated as pet owners and are able to take an active role in their health and wellbeing. Despite his busy schedule, he never rushes through visits, and it is obvious that he truly cares for the animals he sees and the owners alike. Additionally, he is very accessible--I have called on multiple occasions to ask questions and have been able to speak with him directly within 10 minutes if not immediately. He really takes the time and effort to go above an beyond for our animals, and we can feel at ease knowing they are in excellent hands.

Dr. Marlon is the best, most caring veterinarian! He has been with us and our dogs for 6 or 7 years now. He is attentive, detailed and so, so nice. We said goodbye to two dogs a couple of years ago. It made it easier on them and us to do this in our home. Not only were Dr. Marlon and his assistant super kind and caring throughout the whole process, they literally assisted with the burial process. Marlon showed great care and concern for my family and I when we had to come to the decision to let our sweet dog Annie be put to sleep to free her from pain. Marlon was loving and gentle with Annie. A few days after Annie died, we received a card from Marlon and his staff expressing their heartfelt sympathy. Marlon is now our vet for our other dog, Polo. My pet dog has been cared for by Dr. Marlon Sequeira for several years. We (my pet and I) have been very satisfied with our visits to Dr. Sequeira. Recently my pet developed excessive itching that I could not stop by home treatment. I was very nervous in going to a vet during COVID-19. When nothing helped my pet I called Veterinary Care Anywhere and talked to Dr. Sequeira who asked me to bring him in, explaining his “No Contact” process for corona virus protection. At the vet clinic, per their process I called without entering the building and an assistant (donned in a mask) came out and took my pet, explained that I could watch Dr. Sequeira from outside through the glass panel. An assistant muzzled the dog and held him while Dr. Sequeira performed his examination and treatment. The dog was given an injection and given a treat after removing the muzzle. I was mesmerized at the gentleness and care taken during this process. Dr. Sequeira’s assistant brought the dog out with his other medications and Dr. Sequeira called me on my cell phone explaining the dog’s problem, treatment and medication provided. The total process was no touch, safe and comforting, given the present alarming situation with COVID-19. And surprisingly when the bill came, it was very reasonable. Over all it was a very comforting and peasant experience.I would highly recommend Dr. Sequeira and Veterinary Care Anywhere for veterinary services.

I have had my pet dog (male beagle) for the last 14 years (a senior now). Over the course I have been to many veterinarians. For the last 5 years my pet has been cared for by Dr. Marlon Sequeira (Veterinary Care Anywhere). I found Dr. Sequeira to be very compassionate, caring and very cost effective. The first time when I took my pet to Dr. Sequeira, he very patiently documented his full medical history and checked him very thoroughly. Dr. Sequeira was very gentle with him and made sure that he does not get traumatized in the process. He prescribed him medication and suggested a proper diet for next several days. I also received an e-mail from Dr. Sequeira inquiring about my pet’s progress. Follow-up visit was surprisingly with a cured dog and at no cost. I have been very lucky to have Dr. Sequeira as my pet’s vet. Since then I have always taken him to Dr. Sequeira. Dr. Sequeira’s charges have been almost 2/3 of what I would be paying at any other vet.

They need to be passionate animal lovers first - not just well qualified and/or skilled at their profession. I seen some of the latter type treat animals as animals and Id never want that for my fur-kids.They need to be empathic with the animals theyre diagnosing and treating and all the vets I work with and recommend are these types. Forget the years of experience, the degrees and the titles they have. If they dont understand whats wrong with, feel for and empathise with your fur/feathered/scaled family member - its really of no use.

I have to say I was surprised to find a capable vet that would make house calls. My dog is very large so transport is an issue. We have been using Dr. Marlons mobile vet service for several months and we have been very, very pleased. Dr. Marlon is a compassionate vet and takes the time to answer any and all questions or address any other concerns. He is wonderful with our multi-dog household, and the dogs dont even seem to mind having their nails trimmed, shots, or any other procedures. Just the convenience alone of not having to lug the dogs to a veterinary office is priceless in itself. Dr. Marlon always lets us know his estimated time of arrival or lets us know if he is running a little late, which we greatly appreciate. Exceptional and extraordinary. To grab your attention, and that is a sincere statement. My review is long overdue. However, I think time is the best indicator of the fortitude of an individuals character. Dr Marlon has demonstrated his exceptional character for 6 months. That is a character trait you cant hide. Secondly, he is devoted to his craft, veterinary medicine 24/7/365. I base my statement on my experience with previous vets from basic animal care to large husbandry; I have seen them all. You know the good caretakers when they contact you on the weekends in the evening, or out of the blue just to check in. That is true and definitive care. My dog had a puzzling malady which caused her pain. Dr Marlon worked with me until he was able to alleviate her condition. Can I say you will have the same experience and luck, I dont know and cannot guarantee. However, if you want an expert who will try his best you need look no further. Dr Marlon is simply the best. That statement does not seem to be enough based on the recovery of my beloved pet.

Dr. Marlon has been so helpful! We have been using Veterinary Care Anywhere for the last 4 years and it has been the best. We have 5 cats which is a huge hurdle when trying to take them to the vet. I am disabled and in a wheelchair, so the thought of taking my 14 year old cat across town to a vet was a nightmare I dreaded. I discovered Dr. Marlon online and decided to make an in home appointment. My cat had lost a lot of weight despite a ravenous appetite. I couldnt get weight on him, even with feeding him 3 times a day.Dr. Marlon arrived, examined my cat, made a preliminary diagnosis and gave him two vaccinations. To provide an accurate diagnosis, he needed to take a blood sample.. Since my cat was not cooperating, Dr. Marlon decided to return with one of his assistants to make it easier (for himself and the cat) to take the blood sample.He didnt even charge for a second home visit! Being on a fixed income, that means a lot to me.I couldnt ask for a kinder, more efficient, knowledgeable veterinarian. He treated my cat like he was his own pet and did all he could put him us all at ease. He went the extra mile and did the blood work himself, rather than sending it to a lab, providing a quicker result. He diagnosed the problem, prescribed medication and even gave us some free medication. Talk about above and beyond service!I highly recommend Dr. Marlon and Veterinary Care Anywhere for all your vet care needs. In home veterinary care is convenient and AWESOME!
