I just had our first consult with Michelle and cannot express how happy I am with the information given, the knowledge and the patience in answering all questions about my dog, his breed and his behavior. This is the best money I have spent, well worth the consult and start of new things for my doggo!Lauren

I hate that I have to give teamworks a 1 star review but unfortunately my pup and I had a 1 star experience. We dropped our dog off right before a holiday weekend for a 7 day board and train. This was my first time going to Teamworks so I was expecting a tour, maybe a quick conversation about what I wanted them to really focus on. Instead I checked in, gave them the paperwork, and then someone came from the back took the leash out of my hand and walked away. She didnt introduce herself to me, she didnt even try and pet my dog. She just took the leash and walked away. And while I understand they were probably busy because it was right before a holiday weekend, a quick introduction is just simple customer service and courtesy. As I said this board and train was only for 7 days so I wasnt expecting a full on miracle but I made sure I referenced on the paperwork that I really wanted our dog to stop jumping on people. Hes only 7 months and already 55lbs so hes going to be a big boy. So if they only focused on that I wouldve been thrilled. When I went to pick him up the first thing he did was jump on me. They told me to keep practicing what they taught in the videos but the video quality was just okay and I found the instructions a little hard to follow. All in all I spent a lot of money just to board my dog and for him to get some extra play time, I would not call what I received training

Rosie and I attended the good canine citizen class. The trainers do a great job of coaching dog owners through the basics; Im looking forward to seeing their work in more advanced courses like agility and scent training! They use positive reinforcement, which means that they show you how to encourage good behavior and instruct your dog firmly without hitting/shouting/punishing.Classes were socially distanced and all participants wore masks at all times. When possible, several activities were done outdoors to allow us to spread out (when the sun began to go down earlier this became difficult, so it may be a good idea to choose a class held earlier in the day).

We boarded our lab mix puppy, Bennett, last summer at Teamworks and also enrolled him in the high-energy training program while my husband and I were on vacation. This place was amazing - it was our first time leaving Bennett, so we were initially nervous, but as soon as we did our tour, we knew he was in loving and professional hands. Prior to the trip, Bennett did have some obedience and training issues, which the staff worked on a few times a day. Additionally, they would send videos of these training sessions at the end of the day and it was great keeping up with his progress. All in all, the training was really helpful with getting his puppy behavior under control and will definitely use them for boarding needs in the future. Excellent staff, very responsive, and they all really care for these dogs. HIGHLY recommend.

Suze Foote is one of the best instructors Ive experienced! She is exceptionally knowledgable, knows how to make things fun for both pup & owner, and clearly LOVES her work as an instructor. Her passion for helping owners support & bond with dogs is admirable. I took private sessions to start and then a class, once there was an opening. My wild, sweet, smart Husky/Border Collie puppy was always treated with love & respect by Suze, regardless of her behavior. Classes were the perfect pace and loaded with technique, demos, practice time, and problem solving tips. Her homework emails were timely and jam packed with helpful information. Suze fully utilized every minute in both the classes and private sessions. Her warmth & welcoming presence had me look forward to every class or session, even if we were poorly prepared. I cant wait to sign up for another one of Suzes classes. Thank you so very much!

Our puppy Carl has been going to Teamworks since we was 12 weeks old and we LOVE everyone and everything they do there. Excellent and educated staff who know what they’re doing and communicate it well to you. We get videos of Carl’s training sessions every time he goes. We take him twice a week and also enroll him in evening classes. He is a very happy little Weim puppy, well socialized and on his way to becoming a well trained adult dog. Of course the work they do at Teamworks helps pave the way for the work we do at home. They go hand in hand and Teamworks has been excellent at training us humans as well!

Pleased with using Teamworks both as a boarder and a trainer. We have used both for our two year old dog. Training really seems to help her as we are able to easily repeat what we learn. We recently boarded her for a couple days and we like the larger spaces versus just a cage at other boarders. Also opted on to the daily training session. Was pleased to get daily videos showing the training.

Loooove them. My 16 month pup Finney has been going to Doggie Day School for half of his life, and he’s learned so much. And he looooves going. He’s so well-socialized and well-behaved. Even though we haven’t been great trainers ourselves, he’s a well-trained dog. Worth every penny.

We loved our experience with our new puppy, Ava, at Teamworks! She took the puppy confidence class with Joe and Laura! We loved going each week to see Ava’s new friends and what new things she could learn. We will definitely enroll in futures classes!

I cant say enough good things about the 30 day inboard training program! It is such a great value....and it WORKS! The trainers and staff are all very knowledgeable and treat your dog like their own. The 2 videos a day of training are very helpful in reintegrating your pup once they get home and the blog posts give you peace of mind.Kodie was very difficult to walk with on a leash and needed more basic obedience and manners reinforcement. Now that he is home, he is doing AMAZING. We even had a surprise dog pop out of no where on one of our walks and he didnt even react. I knew exactly what to do thanks to the training videos. We are still working on solidifying our training goals and cant wait to sign up for the complimentary group that is included in the inboard training price.

We started out going to Teamworks to train our adopted 1 year old Boxer/ Ridgeback mix in a canine good citizens class. It was a very well out together class and we walked away with a lot of valuable information on how to train our new pup. We then began using the board and train option anytime we went out of town and our pup actually enjoys going there. They treat her very well and she never gets stressed out when we leave her, or look stressed out when we pick her up. The staff is always super friendly and they are doing everything they can during Covid to make sure everyone stays safe. For boarding and training I couldnt imagine going anywhere else at this point.

Christie (and Linda) are fantastic dog trainers-we couldn’t be happier with the classes. We learned how to better communicate with our dog, train him, and teach him to ignore distractions through the CGC course. After only the first or second class I felt we already got our money’s worth!

I boarded my dog here while away on a long weekend. Facilities are amazing, and not only do they provide you with a blog on your dogs progress but also film all the training sessions and send them to you! It wasnt that much more expensive than normal boarding and I got 2 training sessions a day out of it. I would absolutely use them again!

I took my puppy training there and they were amazing. Im taking my puppy to the next class there next year. She just finished the canine good citizen class and that was a good beginners class for both me and my dog. Their facility is really nice too. They also only teach positive training which is what I really wanted. A lot of the training places I looked at were doing negative reinforcement. Teamworks is quality positive training at a fantastic price.

My dog Crowley received training and did his canine good citizen certification here. We had a smaller dog than everyone else, but despite that Mandy Grace did a wonderful job working with him. We really appreciate all the hard work that everyone put into our dogs training. I highly recommend Mandy Grace and Teamworks Dog Training.

I brought our foster dog, Buddy, to his first CGC class tonight. We had fun, learned a lot, loved the trainers and I saw an improvement in his behavior before we even left! Buddy is highly distracted by other dogs, but they accommodate this with privacy panels, allowing us to participate in a group class, while also teaching him that other dogs are going to be around him and he still needs to pay attention to the person holding the leash. Im excited to continue and finish these classes. Fingers crossed, Buddy can pass the test!

Our Standard Poodle spent 4 days schooling at this place. It is also included 3 boarding nights. Everybody here is very friendly and I am sure they all mean well. Unfortunately, our well behaved but fearful dog came back home much more fearful of other dogs than before. My husband and I are very disappointed with their daily 20 minutes training and we are not going to bring him back.
