Making appointments is easy, the staff who help with checking in & out are always friendly, definitely the best lab techs around and they have an urgent care for after hours.

Great experience, and I haven’t often had those when dealing with doctors lately. Front office staff was helpful and I was seen almost immediately after finalizing my initial visit paperwork. Doctor Carlson was awesome - makes you feel like you’ve known him for years and is super responsive to any questions or concerns you may have on any subject.

The waiting time is the least of any office that I have ever experienced. Dr. Vu is the most caring and professional. An exception. The person centered care here is amazing! I never felt the need for a primary care Doctor. For I did not have a lot of health problems. However after being referred by a friend to this place, I can appreciate the want and need for person centered care. The Doctors here listen to you and you don’t feel like your bothering them.

Dr. Israel and the staff are some of the best I’ve ever experienced. The office staff is friendly and helpful. It’s fantastic having so many services under one roof and the lab folks are great even when it’s busy. The doctors also make excellent referrals when outside help is needed.

I was seen at exactly my appointment time.Dr Israel is very personable, after briefly catching up on current events he picked up exactly where we had left off at the last visit.I have always been taken care of in a professional and timely manner. I really cant say enough good things about Wake Internal Medicine. Everyone, from the time you check in, to your after visit check out are very accommodating. Each step is explained during the way and when you leave you have the information in hand about your appointment and any instructions. I know most offices do this to a certain extend but when you add friendliness to it, just seems better.Now, I would be remiss if I did not specifically mention Matt Schwanke, PA. He is great. He always listens to me. I have never had the feeling of him being rushed. Im sure he is but he looks at you and addresses each concern you may have. I’ve been going to Brad Carlson for 17 years. I can’t imagine having to find another primary care physician as caring. The staff is always friendly and Angie always remembers my name. He has a common sense approach that is missing in the world today. Again if it had 10 stars it would not be enough!

I was taken to the doctor’s waiting room immediately after signing in. No waiting. The physician assistant was pleasant ant took vital signs. She gave me my lab results which turned out very good.The foctor came in and went over my lab results saying that it is excellent with one exception that needs to be monitored. He did tests with good results. Advised me about additional medical procedures. Very pleasant and informative.

Dr. Mastoor is excellent! She listens to you and works together with you to get a efficient approach to weight loss. I’m very happy with this practice!!

Just moved to Raleigh area and needed a primary care physician. I was referred here and made my decision based on the bios on the website. My initial meeting with Dr. Flescher could not have gone better. He offered caring and insightful questions and was able to recommend other specialists for me. It is hard to give a great rating to a practice that takes an early morning appointment and turns it into a 3-hour torture. Had an 8:30 am appointment and didnt leave until 11:45 am. Was it necessary? No! Was told 25 minutes after appointment started that the Dr has to witness a stress test. Oookay. After 45 minutes got a visit from a resident Dr working with my Dr. He took time to ask questions, make suggestions, and do preliminary exam. Got to wait another hour for the Dr to finally show up only to repeat everything I had just told the first Dr. Not efficient. Then left waiting on nurse to show me something and after another 30 minutes had had enough. Ill Google what I dont understand. If this was a one-off, I could shrug it off but its not the first time. Nothing like letting somebody know youre just another body to pay bills and move on. Not sure its the best place for me to continue my care .

This practice is patient friendly, interested in the whole person and is medically very insightful. Managing to health goals is a medical leadership characteristics of the group.Second endorsement. Staff is efficient, thorough, and friendly. Doctor discusses all aspects of health: history, diet, exercise, and emotional. Easy to schedule appointments and they respond to emails in a timely way. I like the fact that many of my tests can be done in the same building.

I received prompt care, needed X-ray snd referral to specialist within the practice to follow up on an injury I had out of town that was treated by an out-of-town doctor. My primary physician gave me options as always and took time to make sure I understood next steps.

I think they are thorough and well organized. They understand and use information technology appropriately in par with the computer age (emails, automatic appointments, etc..). Dr. D. Richard is very knowledgeable, reassuring and thorough. I have been his patient for many years and he has always listened to my concerns and take appropriate action when he deemed necessary. Appointment was at 8:45 showed up at 8:40. At 9:05 went to the front desk to ask what’s up. Someone came out 5 minutes later. All I needed was a 2 Nd shingle shot. I got the shot and was on my way in 30 seconds. Why make an appointment? My time is valued also and to wait 25 minutes for a 30 second shot seems a little much

I’ve been with my doctor at Wake Internal Medicine since 2014. He is extremely thorough, highly capable, intelligent, patient and very caring. I trust his care 100%. The practice has many testing labs on-site, which makes it really convenient.

I first went to Wake Internal Medicine in 1997! Over the years, I have been GREATLY satisfied with the care Ive received from Dr. Levin and staff. The wait time before seeing Dr. Levin is less than 10 minutes!! Upon seeing him, I have never felt rushed as if I were going through an assembly line!! If I have any concerns, he takes the time to listen. He is a great physician and I am very thankful to be one of his patients!!!

I usually have nothing but good things to say about Wake Internal Medicine. However, my most recent encounter has left me confused and rather frustrated. I had called at 8am to leave a message for my nurse asking for medical advise from her or the doctor. I was assured that I would get a call back within a couple of hours. After not hearing anything back for 7 hours, I called again to make sure my message got through. The gentleman who answered the phone was kind and understanding, tried to push me through to the nurses, with no success. He took my number to get it to the team ASAP. I am not hopeful to get a call back and at this point I feel like my care is being jepordozed, leaving me feeling scared.

Been going to this practice since I was 18 yrs old. They are professional, knowledgeable, friendly and courteous. I recommend them and my doctor who is Dr Heestand.

Have been with WIMC my whole adult life. I love all the offices. They are usually able to get me in same day when I am sick and need to be seen. If they dont have any availability their associated urgent care, RX Urgent Care, is amazing. I love that their urgent care can pull my regular chart and see my medical history and that then my primary care doctor can see my history from urgent care.I highly recommend them.

Office was comfortable and receptionist very welcoming. This was a first time visit. Process was smooth and efficient and both the Doctor, Dr. Richard and his assistant Shauna were very accommodating. They both listened to me and responded with information accordingly which I appreciated.

Wake Internal Consultants has great customer service, they are very friendly, welcoming, and caring. I saw Matt Schwanke PA - he is a very thoughtful and comprehensive provider - and asked every question and touched on every area of my physical and mental health. My new primary care doctor is Dr. Stuart Levin. He is wonderful!!! So many doctors in todays world DONT listen to you. Dr. Levin really listens and asks questions if hes not sure what youre saying. He has a really great bedside manner, and you feel that hes really interested in you and how youre feeling. Dr. Levin is old enough to have seen it all, but is still relatively young which is a super combination. I wish I had found him years ago, I probably wouldnt be in the shape Im in now. Youll be very lucky if hes accepting new patients. I cant recommend him highly enough for just being a GREAT man and Doctor. Superlatives rarely come from me, but in this case they are true and I do give credit where credit is due.Kathryn

Medical student John and Dr. Monteiro were the absolute BEST!!! From the beginning the whole staff made me feel SO welcomed. Dr. Monteiro came in with a smile and in such a good mood he just lit up the room. I cant wait to see whats nexts for (future) Dr. John, he is so awesome and so personable. Having the blood testing in the office is very convenient.My only complaint is the same I have with all health care providers… I never understand why providers cannot meet agreed upon appt times. My time is as valuable to me as the doctors is to him. I never appreciate waiting 15-30 minutes past my appt time to see the doctor.

I went to establish care after an emergency room visit. My Dr was so thorough I left with appointments for a new Gyn and new gastro team. I would highly recommend them.

My doctor, Dr.Heestand, worked me in during her lunch break. I had an outbreak of poison ivy which she prescribed medicine and topical treatment. 24 hours after treatment , I’m getting some relief. It is always efficient process to see my dr at this location.

Dr. Flescher was pleasant and informative as he took the time to explain every procedure prior to it happening. After the results, he sat with me to review them, taking time to make sure everything was to my understanding. He is a very knowledgeable doctor, and never appeared rushed, as most doctors tend to be. Highly recommended!

I absolutely love awake internal medicine and pediatrics. So much so, that my entire family goes there! We especially love Dr. Vu, she has been a God send to our family in many ways, specifically when she made sure we got an X-ray for my 5 year old daughter when we took her in for pain in her leg. We ended up finding out it was osteosarcoma. If it were not for this early X-ray it could have spread. Thankfully Addison made it through a year of chemo and an operation and is doing wonderful today!! I would recommend this practice to anyone who needs great care!

Dr. Meier is extremely caring and has helped me with visits when I couldnt afford to go. Most doctors wont do that. He is very supportive and always wants to make sure youre taking care of yourself.

They took my insurance over the phone, then verified and OKd it in person, then 45 mins later HALFWAY through my appointment they tell me they dont take it and asked me to pay out of pocket. Are you kidding me? That is a SCAM. I had to leave because I couldnt afford it. It was embarrassing, a waste of time, and so unprofessional I didnt even get an apology or the referral I needed nothing.

Visit with Womens Health for a Mammogram lacked customer service on part of the Mammography Tech. I had an eight oclock appointment with one of the Physicians at Wake Internal Medicine and was told my Mammogram appointment would be at 8:30AM. My physician appointment ran late due to physician starting appointment at 8:15AM. I was able to make the mammography appointment by 8:30AM so I thought I was on time. I was greeted by the Mammography Tech at 8:45 with we have to hurry and get you in since you were late for your appointment. I stated I was just on time at 8:30AM and she argued with me saying your appointment was at 8:20. I put my purse down on the counter and was quickly told to move my belongings as now she would have to clean the surface. During the visit, she was very abrupt in her demeanor in directing me through the positioning process for the mammogram. As a Human Resources Director myself, I am very in tune with customer service and expectations. This visit did not meet expectations. Mammography results were very timely. It doesnt take much effort to direct and interact with patients in a very conversational fashion versus a terse, disrespectful manner.

Staff was very helpful and personable. Took the time to explain everything and made me feel comfortable
