Very professional and thorough in examination. He is caring and listens to the patient. His recommendations to previous surgeon, and what is needed to move forward to assist me the patient to get back to where I need to be to recover from a previous surgery is awesome. Such a caring and communicative physician. Cant say enough about his caring and wanting to give me back quality of life. Wish he had been recommended for my original surgery so I may not be in my current situation. He is such a caring professional and am thankful for him.

The staff was welcoming and pleasant, especially Patricia. They took me fairly close to my apt.time and I appreciate that. Dr. Messer was thorough, knowledgeable and explained every thing very clearly and without being in a rush. I left with several options for the ache in my wrists and hands and a fairly optimistic outlook that it might not deteriorate into a serious issue.

Dr. Messer is informative, patient and kind. He answered my questions and concerns regarding my thumb surgery. The front staff is friendly and helpful. Had shoulder surgery which healed to 110% and was not painfull , took no pain meds after 2nd day and didnt need then. Was back at work after 12 weeks. Recently had trigger finger surgery on middle finger which is going good.

Ive seen Dr. Messer at Raleigh Hand to Shoulder Center, periodically for over 6 years for recurring ganglion cysts in my wrists and tendonitis. Ive found him to be attentive and helpful. Hes gentle in manipulating my sore wrists, so he doesnt cause additional pain. The x-ray tech he works with is also amazing and friendly. Ive been very happy with the treatment plans and the information provided. The wait times can be a little long, but its worth it because Ive never felt rushed during an exam, and the exams are thoughtful and thorough. I have also never had anything but prompt and friendly service from the ladies working at the front desk and checkout. Ill continue to see Dr. Messer as needed without any hesitation.

My family started seeing Dr Messer several years ago when my son fractured his scaphoid on an ATV and then again playing hockey. He came very highly recommended and has lived up to his reputation. I have been seeing him for a trigger finger. After exhausting the non-surgical options, I’m having a minor surgical procedure next week. No worries. I know I’m in excellent hands.

Dr. Messer is wonderful, kind and helped me so very much. I may be kinda old but I still need the use of my hands to complete my daily housekeeping, cooking and personal care. Hopefully I will not have to return for another many years as he does such a great job for me. :-)

I had an amputation to my finger due to a work accident when i was 15 years old. My doctor referred me to Dr.Messer and he took the time to see what was going on and scheduled me a surgery date 2 days later. Dr. Messer did an amazing job. For years i couldnt use my hand properly and it was very difficult to take care of my son. After the surgery he kept a check on my progress and really cared about my well being. I felt like for the first time i could take my life by the reigns again and to this very day I will choose no one else other than dr. Messer to do any further work on my hand. He made sure i was taken care of by the best of the best and that i was comfortable with everything planned, he took the time to explain why i was still having problems from 10 years ago and im blessed i was recommended to such an amazing surgeon.
