Dr Avery & the PAs are great. The phone system is terrible. On hold for so long then one gets disconnected! This happened twice. Took 4 calls and 2 hours to get through to someone. Also, subjected to listening to the horrible show, The View, in the waiting room. Should not have this show on or anything political on your TV that your patients have to listen to!!

This doctors office is horrible! You have to wait on hold for 15 to 20 mins. When I did talk to someone it was the lady that schedules appointments. I had to tell her what I was calling for my medical condition(which I was not comfortable with at all) she then put me on hold to go and talk to the nurse that I had left a message for, the nurse then sends me a message through the appointment setter telling me what medication I need instead of calling me back herself now my personal business is all through this doctors office! Horrible! Only my doctor and her nurse should know what is going on with me! I’m definitely not going back and I wouldn’t advise anyone else to go there either. I wouldn’t even rate them a 1😡

This office is definitely giving UNC Health a BAD name. I’ve had to call this office everyday for a week and have left multiple messages a day and STILL not get a call back. It’s very sad when patients can’t depend on their doctors office. My doctor is amazing but the service at this facility is trash, run far away from this office if your looking for people who care.

Always love doc Steffens and her P.A two great docs would never leave there unless my doc leaves then I will leave
