After an unexpected death to my sweet baby boy Ronnie, we decided to get him cremated, we called and Steve said we could bring him in that day and we got him back two days later. I expected just the wooden box and the clay print. But it was so much more, he put a small golden plate with his name, put the box in a beautiful sack and small card. It truly brought me to tears. Thank you so much Steve, I am forever grateful.

This place was very respectful from beginning talking with Steve (even when he was on his way out of town) until the day I spoke with him to pick up my dogs ashes. The staff at the hospital was great also, they treated my dog with the utmost care when taking her out of the car in the box to when I picked her ashes up, they never carried her like she was just a dead object... That is very much appreciated. Also her ashes were wrapped very nicely.

I had to put my bunny to sleep at AEH and she was sent here to be cremated. I got her back in 48 hours in a beautiful wooden urn with carved flowers on the front. The urn came in a lovely velvet bag. Her paw print was perfectly pressed and the attention to detail was apparent. I was worried about her remains but they included paperwork showing she was taken care of from the hospital through the cremation process. Im so grateful to have such wonderful care in this really hard time and getting her back home so quickly was a grateful surprise.

I called this morning after finding out my guinea pig had passed away in the middle of the night. Steve said we could come down and get her cremated. We got there and he was very kind. It only took us about 2 hours to get her ashes back. It was an amazing experience (yet also heartbreaking) and Steve was very kind through all of it. My husband and I made arrangements with Carolina Pet Cremations to handle the cremation of our beloved English Setter on Dec. 5, 2020. Steve met us at 7:30pm on a Saturday night receive our Cromwell and he showed great respect, gentleness and understanding throughout that encounter. Steve met us again on Sunday afternoon around 3pm to deliver Cromwells ashes. He even visited with our other two dogs. His service to us was impeccable and exceeded our expectations.

I cant say enough good things about Steve and the experience. He was kind, attentive, and presented our puppy back to us beautifully. In a traumatic experience of loss, he was a mensch, and I appreciate him being there for us in this time.

Losing my cat Zeus a few days ago has been extremely hard on me and my family. Steve was so incredibly helpful and kind. After leaving Zeus with Steve, we called later and asked if we could have the daisies we picked cremated with him, and Steve took care of it, which meant a lot. When we picked up his ashes today, I was honestly anticipating just a plain wooden box. But no. We were brought a velvet bag embroidered with “Until we meet again on the rainbow bridge.” Inside was his paw print pressed in clay, an envelope with “in loving memory of Zeus” printed on it, and in the envelope was a sympathy card, a certificate of cremation, and tips on how to grieve. And best of all, his box of ashes was beautiful. On the top were flowers hand carved in the wood, and his name was engraved in a plaque on the front. It made me feel like they took good care of him and understood how much he meant to us. It wasn’t just great service—they helped bring me some closure. Every little detail was so considerate and well thought out. Couldn’t have had a better experience.

My cat Tiger passed 11/3/20. I’m young so I never thought about what I would need to do if one of my cats passed away. I was already devastated. I googled and read reviews and crossed my fingers to not have to experience this process as stress as this week began. I messaged Steve he responded back with no hesitation. We made plans, I asked questions he’s was caring, informative on time. Tiger was ready 11/5/20 but I picked him up today 11/6/20. I am very pleased with everything about this place. I am glad we made the drive from Kenly to have our dog cremated here. We believe the service was fairly priced and we were shocked to find out it included a beautiful urn with a stamped nameplate, a plaster mold with her paw print and some other lovely items. My beloved cat, Snowball, had to be put down because of kidney failure. I took her home to bury her, but found that the roots in my yard were huge and numerous, making burial impossible. I left a message for Steve at Carolina Pet Cremation, and he returned my call within 5 minutes. He graciously met me outside the crematorium, explained the procedure to me, and took Snowball. He took time to meet me the next day, a Sunday, and returned Snowballs remains to me. I was very touched and pleased at the care and effort they took with Snowball. Her remains were in a beautiful wooden box with a name plate with her name on it. A fantastic service and really affordable. Ive had family pets cremated for a higher price and they were returned in a container similar to a soup can. In comparison the respect Steven showed my bird and the quality wooden box and talon imprint was touching. It brings me closure, and thats what I really appreciated. Thet went above and beyond our expectations! We dropped off our fur baby kemo just hours after he passed on a Saturday afternoon. The man waited for an hour for us to get there. Monday afternoon he was ready to be picked up. Were were expecting a bag of ashes in a cardboard box and what we received truly touched our heart. A beautiful hand carved wood box with a brass engraved name plate with the ashes in it. We also received a impression of his little paw print and some clippings of hair. We also received a death certificate and card like you would get at a funeral. We were so touched by the quality service and care we received. I can see why this business has such a high rating.Steve was so calm, gentle, informative and respectful during a difficult time.As others have noted, I was very happy with the beautiful box containing the cremains, and also the documentation, etc. included. I also opted for a little necklace or key chain vial, that was an additional modest cost, but its very cool that I can have part of my pet with me always.I was also reassured that this place has credentials, so I have confidence that my dogs remains were well-handled.Lastly - I thought the cost was extremely reasonable for my large dog.My vet had recommended a more local pet cremation service, but Im so happy we made the trip to Raleigh and used Carolina Pet Cremation. Highly recommend.Edit/PS: If youre bringing your pet to the service, do know that its located in a vet hospital. When we dropped off my dog there was a fenced doggie daycare or socialization area with a bunch of happy dogs bounding around, which was a little hard to take. Steve did ask me for a description of our vehicle so he could watch for us, and he met us promptly. Just be warned that if you drop off your deceased pet, you may see something like this, so be prepared.

Hard to believe, but this is the first review (for anything!) that Ive posted. I had to make the difficult choice to end the suffering of my first true love, Ellie, last night. I called Steve to let him know and he coordinated with Azure Holland Mobile Vet (my second ever review) to come pick her up at my home. Astounded! I have never had a pet cremated. They have all been buried in my mother-in-law’s back yard in Fayetteville. Yesterday we woke up to the horrible fact that our dear Bradley’s life was coming to an end. He was gone by 9:30 am and the roads were a mess. A week ago we lost my hedgehog of 4+ years. I called this creation service because it was late at night and I was heartbroken. I expected to be laughed at for wanting to cremate my hedgehog but Steve was so kind and offered us a great deal. Since we live 2 hours away I drove up and dropped my hedgehog off and Steve told me I could pick him back up whenever I was available (because of my job and the distance I had to wait a week). When picking him up I didnt know what to expect. My husband and I cried when we saw how beautiful everything was. From the velvet bag his wooden urn was in to the tinny little ceramic piece that had his paw prints in it. We cannot thank you enough Steven.

After reading all these reviews, I must be the only one who didn’t get compassion. I didn’t even get an “I’m sorry”. The owner is unprofessional, even through SMS. I guess the owner didn’t feel like dealing with a dead cat on a Sunday. Also, the date on my standard wooden urn has the date 10/5, but my pet died on 10/6. Not sure why everyone is so thrilled with this place, but I won’t be using this business anymore in the future.

We were devastated by the loss of our Sweet Chadwick ... our yellow Pup. We called, talked to Steve ... he told us what to do. We took Chadwick there, he was cremated, ashes placed in a beautiful, carved box. Not only that, there was a paw print made of Chadwicks foot that was given to us, also. Steve is the best there is! None Better I have lost 4 pets over the years and Steve has taken care of the last 3. Words really cant describe how awesome Steve is, but let me write about differences between Steve and the vet who cremated my first pet. The Vet I was seeing did not give me options to have my pet cremated by herself. Steve is total class with the paw prints in clay that he gives you with the box of ashes. Since it was my childrens child hood pet, we asked Steve for more paw prints and he happily obliged. My dog passed away on Sunday, yet Steve picked up the phone when I called him this morning. He does not commercialize a pets passing like the vet did with my first pet.

Gabriel will be cherished in our hearts forever. Sweet Gabriels ashes and his footprint on a memorial Christmas ornament gave us some peace and comfort! He has a kind face, and caring eyes, and he just looks at you with the deepest sympathy, letting you know.The first time he offered to meet us first if we wished. And the second time, as the vet brought our little buddy out covered in his blankie.. they said, hang on, and I said no.. the blankie goes with him please. Steve looked at us then them and said, the blankie will go with us with no hesitation, and caring.I tell ya, great guy. A really great guy. I highly recommend him to anyone with no doubts they will be satisfied at how their pet situation is handled. And he does package the pets ashes up well.

Steve helped us out so much when our Isis passed away. As someone who has worked in the funeral industry, his compassion and care really stood out.

Incredible service. Steve met me in a literal hurricane, even though the office, (and half the roads in town) were closed.
