Savannah, fruit of the spirit personality won me over, to set up an appointment to come… I had a chance to meet Dr. Kiarash. I am so grateful, because I can see so clearly. Best eye care experience that I have ever had. They were very quick and helpful picking out frames too. I actually fainted during my exam and everyone there was very helpful to get me situated and calm. I had a great vision test experience at Fusion eye care. 5-10 minute waiting time before my examination was much shorter than I expected. youll find very friendly staff here that take care of all your concerns. On top of all, Dr. Basiris honesty was of great value. After examining my eye from many different aspects, he explained my vision condition thoroughly in a very simple way that I could understand and let me decide whether or not I want to wear glasses. absolutely NO sign of pressure sale of their products. I went to appt with Fusion Eye Care today. All employees are courteous and very professional. They have time to listen to your questions and concerns.

My experience at Fusion eye care was a five star all the way. Even before my appointment they were working diligently to accommodate my needs and once I was there it just felt comfortable and transparent. They made feel at ease and at home. I almost asked for an application but a chef and I live in Wilmington so that wouldn’t have panned out. Ha! My eyesight is sharper and clearer than any glasses I’ve had before and the information the doctor gave me on my potential future issues was incredibly helpful. Shout out to Louie! I felt like we formed a solid friendship in the 45 minutes I was there. She was chill and patient. I’ll only be going to Fusion from now on. I suggest anyone do the same ✌️

Sketchy and weird practice. They push off taking the PD for glasses measurements unless you buy from them. Which they didn’t say anything about during the exam. It’s a sketchy business practice and drives patients to trust them less. Will definitely be looking around for another optometrist.

I feel so lucky to have found Dr. Kiarash Bassiri. Having a problem with my vision that worried me so much, this made me feel nervous when I arrived at Fusion Eye Care for the first time. I soon relaxed because of Dr. Bassiri’s caring and extra effort to make me feel comfortable. He showed me that he truly does care. I have also been greatly impressed with his helpful staff that always displays a friendly and nice attitude. Dr. Bassiri has demonstrated tremendous skill in helping me with a vision problem which I’m sure not many others could have done such a wonderful job. The combination of skill and honest care for others is something that is rare to find nowadays but that Dr. Bassiri clearly has in abundance. I met with Dr. Bassiri yesterday to discuss scleral contact lenses and keratoconus and was really impressed with his level of knowledge and experience with specialty contact lenses. He did a great job of explaining all the ins and outs of these types of gas permeable contact lenses and how they can help with severe dry eyes. I also really liked how friendly his front office staff were and his front office waiting area which is gorgeous! As you can see in my pictures, he has so many great looking eyeglasses to choose from. Be sure to ask him which glasses are the best for you. Im new to this doctors office, but I must say that Dr. Bassist and his staff are so professional. They greet you time you walk into their office and everyone is pleasant. Office space is so modern and nicely decorated.

They were fast and courteous. The office is clean and they were able to respect my wishes as a patient.

August 2020 we got our exams, but put off getting our glasses (COVID-19). In May 2021, Aria, one of the opticians, helped us choose glasses & he was amazingly knowledgeable, personable, helpful & patient!!🤩 Last week, my family of 3 went in to pick up our glasses & they were ecstatic, but not I. I got progressives, but it turned out that I didnt NEED distance correction, so, I couldnt see thru my $$ glasses. I was so angry w/Dr. Bassiri b/c he told me I needed distance correction &I felt that he was trying to upsell me on glasses. Aria immediately took responsibility & explained that it was an opticians job to clarify Rx when choosing lenses & apologized profusely. (Im 20/30 in one eye, so, technically need correction, but functionally do not). Louie (the other optician) was just as awesome as Aria & we loved them both so much!!!!🥰 They vowed to make it right at NO COST. Aria was so upset that they didnt get it right the first time, but I told him that this was even better. Now, I know that no matter what, they have integrity to admit error & take responsibility, then make it right fostering great trust btwn us all.

My third visit here for my annual eye exam / checking my glasses. I mentioned to nurse I was interested in contacts.. Nurse tells me that the doc will talk to me about options and we can “reschedule “another visit for contact fitting etc... Doctor comes in, asks about how I’m having difficulty with near sighted reading... It was quite awkward as he said under his breath he must have misunderstood the tech/ nurse. I was confused.. we completed exam... he did the typical exam .. I told him thinking about contacts .. after exam —- he left the room and grabbed some contacts . He said I’m going to put these in your eyes., “then I want you to practice taking them out”. The entire process was awful .. Ummmm what .. I felt rushed but ok . I felt pressured., it wasn’t at all a good experience. I told him I couldn’t see well .. my vision was blurry (I’m 41 ... I’ve never worn contacts). Took me out to common area and paired me with a gal who in my opinion spoke to me like a first grader with a nose ring, and was training a gal at the counter who looked like she wanted to puke. The gals behind the counter were chatting in my opinion in a “non professional “ manner.. it’s also confusing who works for dentist / eye care.. maybe have some distinguished colors.Hope this review helps you..

Great staff and experience at the office. The only trouble I had was booking an appointment. I was told I would get a call back the following day about making an appointment twice this past month with no reply before calling a third time and speaking to someone else who was able to get me an appointment set up right away. This may be due to the time of day I called or the specific person I spoke to since Covid restrictions went into affect. Previously this was never an issue.

Dr. Bassiri and his entire team gave me a world-class experience! The staff is positive and professional. I was seen almost immediately after checking in. The assistant (bright smile, black round frames) who worked with me was very knowledgeable and got me squared away with my various exams. She also got me fitted for my scleral lenses! When I opened my eyes, I could not believe how much better my vision was!!! I haven’t seen this clear since 2005!!! They went the extra mile to get my prescription in my lenses. Got my vision in both eyes to 20/15!! Thank you Fusion Eye Care for such a wonderful experience!I will come for my dental care as well!!

I visited Fusion Eye Care for my first ever eye exam. I asked how long I could expect for the appointment because I had a meeting after the appointment and I was told to plan for an hour. I was NEVER told that I would have trouble seeing after my appointment. It would have been great to communicate that to someone who is a new patient since I had no idea what to expect (i.e. eye dilation).When the drops were put in to dilate my eyes the technician suggested it should take a couple minutes and then the doctor would be in to see me shortly. It took THIRTY FIVE minutes. If she had warned me it would be 35 minutes I would have been ok with that since I would have been prepared but having to sit for 35 minutes waiting without being able to see well was quite uncomfortable.When the doctor came in he didn’t apologize for the delay or introduce himself, he just hopped right into the exam. He then told me I had a ___ condition. I was in shock since as I mentioned this was my first eye exam and I explained that I just assumed my eyes were tired from looking at a computer screen for longer periods of time over the last few months. I was obviously frazzled about this diagnosis so I grabbed my phone to look it up only to remember….I can’t see. I asked him to write it down so I could look it up later and he agreed to but before I could ask any further questions or remind him to write it down he was out the door. He was not the friendliest or the most courteous and I think when you are giving people a diagnosis there should be a bit more empathy.I then visited the counter to get glasses and I told the salesperson I was working with about how I asked the doctor to write down my condition but he didn’t. She was kind enough to pop off a few terms that she thought the condition might be and wrote them down but I am still not sure if the conditions she wrote are correct.After I finished with her I left the office and as soon as I walked out I felt a headache coming on since everything seemed so bright. I called my husband as I was pulling out and asked him why he didn’t warn me about the dilation and that I might need him to meet me to drive me to my meeting. He asked if the sunglasses they gave helped me. I didn’t know what he was talking about so I called the office back and asked if I was supposed to receive sunglasses since I was having a hard time seeing while I was driving. The front desk person was immediately apologetic and suggested I should have received them after my exam and requested I turn around to get them. She met me outside with them but at this point I was super frustrated and disappointed in the entire experience. I had to cancel two important meetings that afternoon since I couldn’t see well. It would have been great to have a bit more information about the exam and the after effects. I would have scheduled my appointment on a different day or at a different time.This is likely one of the worst experience I have had for a medical appointment. I wish I could get a refund on my glasses and I feel like I need to go to another doctor to get an understanding of my diagnosis. When I received a text asking me to post a review I immediately replied and asked for the doctor to call me since I would rather talk with someone than leave a negative review. I was told an office manager would call. It’s been almost a week and I still haven’t received a call.

Had lasik visited the eye practice for the first time for new contacts that were never correct and gave me an eye infection. Ordered glasses that I could not see out of the right eye. Gave both back. Practice took three months overall and the medical solution was that after wearing lenses since I was 13 I probably have not been cleaning the lenses correctly? Visited the dental practice to be told I have 17 cavities and since I have not even had braces before and few cavities in my entire life I felt this was off the mark so got a second opinion and turns out I have two cavities, please visit another practice if you require an honest practice who does not just get paid by excellent insurance. I have lived all over the world and been to different eye doctors and dentists but have never had such a bad experience with no return of calls and no lens or glasses produced so that I may see during my day and function as a mom and in my career.

My kids and I have been going to Fusion Eye Care for years. The doctor, staff, and technicians are friendly and patient with the kids. As a result, they now never complain when its time for their yearly check-up. Dr. Bassiri takes the time to explain treatment and prescription options and I never feel like my questions are rushed.

The initial experience I had was fine, my appointment went about as well as it could during Covid-19, the office was clean and well maintained and the staff seemed nice enough. I was given a set of trial contact lenses and wore them for a few weeks waiting for a phone call to make a purchase on them. When I did not receive a phone call I decided to instead give them a call, I was running low and didnt have any others to wear.I called Fusion and asked what my new lenses were and if they had any in the back. The staff member I was talking to went and looked and they did not, which is no surprise to me since I have a very high prescription. I asked what the cost was going to be and was given a number before my insurance benefits and then again subtracting those benefits. I agreed and went ahead and paid for the lenses. About 15 minutes later I received a phone call from the office.When I answered I was told that the doctor made a mistake and forgot to place the XR in the name after my lenses which would then up the price to double what it was before. I explained that I did ask them what lenses they were charging me for and what the cost would be so I hardly felt I was at fault for this. The staff member agreed and then told me that I would not incur any additional costs and they would eat the difference since the fault was on them.This morning I received a phone call explaining that my order was now delayed over 2 weeks, however they got me a set of trial lenses. I was a bit worried considering we didnt really know when the delay would end and the date given was an estimate but I agreed to pick them up. Before I could hang up I was then told I would have to pay $90 which was half of the difference leftover from them eating the cost. I explained that I was told that I would have to pay nothing since the fault was their own but the staff member kept reiterating the difference in cost and the factory that produces them requiring more to make these lenses and finally she kept stating shipping. I explained that I failed to see how shipping these items would make them cost more, they are after all still contact lenses and did not weigh more or vary in size. She told me she would contact the office manager and get back to me.I then received a phone call stating that since I would not pay the $90 they would either cancel my order completely or give me half of what I ordered and pay me back the difference of that. What I especially did not enjoy was the feeling I could not shake of them knowing full well that I need this lenses, I cannot see without them, and very much holding this over my head. It was evident in their tone and word choice and it was at the point I lost all respect for this office. I told her to go ahead and charge me the $90 and that I would not be back and would be sure to let everyone I knew not to go to Fusion Eye Care for their vision needs.I thought that was the end of it until I then received a phone call about an hour later from the office manager who explained that he had heard what I had said about leaving a review and that clearly we were not a match and he has already canceled my order. Honestly, everything he said did not require a phone call. He had already sent me an email canceling my order and I very much got the feeling that he wanted to call me to tell me personally that he and Fusion Eye Care and once more screwed me over and now I would have to wait longer to get my contacts and without my temp lenses in the mean time. I told him that given the circumstances, if he had put himself in my shoes he would be equally as upset and he said well I guess you are free to go anywhere else in a very smug way. This is not becoming of a professional office environment. I immediately called my vision provider and filed a complaint against Fusion Eye Care. I even had to call back to get the prescription he told me he had already sent. I dont recommend this site, Ive had less issues at MyEyeDr.

I highly recommend Fusion Eye Care. Dr. Bassiri is great! He is very knowledgeable, takes time to listen to your needs/issues, and answers any questions you may have. The staff is friendly, very helpful, and super efficent. I was in and out in no time. They take all the necessay precautions to safely perform their tasks during the time of Covid and clean thoroughly after each patient.

Thank you Dr. Bassiri, for such great service. I am looking forward to picking up my new glasses. The gentlemen that helped me pick them out had a great eye for fashion and what I would like. It was a painless experience; not a whole lot of walking back and forth confused. Keep up the great work!

I’ve been seeing Dr. Bassiri since I moved to Raleigh in late 2013. Without a beat, he has remembered me at each yearly visit. That alone makes me feel at home. When I tell you this guy is good and cares about his patients, it’s an understatement. I recently tried the dental side and just as pleased. This is the place to go for all your eye and dental needs!!

I’ve been going to eye doctors and getting my eyes examined since I was six years old.I’ve never experienced such an in-depth detailed and caring examination from not only Dr. Bassiri at Fusion Eye Care but from the whole team from the moment I walked in to the time I left.It was just step by step professionalism and making sure I was taken care of and answered all my questions and concerns.The variety of frames they have to choose from and same day prescription glasses from experience I can say the best place to go to is Fusion Eye Care located in Raliegh NC.

This was my first eye exam in almost 15 years. I don’t remember leaving temporarily “blind” from my last one but I certainly did this time! I had to call my husband to pick me up because I am brand new to Raleigh and could not read my phone to mapquest my way home. My nearsightedness was completely gone! Also, to my frustration, I was unable to work my tech job once I got home. I have no idea why this practice would not forewarn their patients. That’s just common sense. Dr. Bassiri himself was just okay. He didn’t explain anything he was doing and I didn’t get the impression he even enjoyed his chosen career. I wouldn’t recommend Fusion eyecare to anyone in the future.

Dr. Bassiri and his team met and exceeded my expectations for a new optical team in the Raleigh area. Bonus was the office’s closeness to home.

Dr. B is great! I really appreciate how transparent everyone is and how he takes the time to explain things to patients. The staff also takes the time to explain your benefits to you which is a refreshing difference between Fusion and other places I’ve been to.
