I made an appointment for the ombré brows. Jessica was about 20 mins late. She walked in and didn’t even apologize for being late, so unprofessional. But okay sometimes we all have bad days. I had an appointment for my follow up on Saturday. Showed up and they were closed. I waited for 20mins because I figured sometimes people run late. I couldn’t wait any longer and called them throughout the day to see if maybe they just opened late that day. No one returned my calls and It’s Monday and no one has reached out to be about rescheduling or an explanation of why they wasted my time. This was so unprofessional. The least you could have done was called me to cancel or reschedule. I wasted my time driving there and waiting.

This place must have hired only those who went to cosmetology schools, their staff was quite proficient and accomplished. you will not be disappointed!

I’ve always been self-conscious about my brows because I have a scar on one of them. And when theyre done, I’m so thrilled that there seems to be no mark or scratch at all anymore!

I took Jessica’s Microblading and Powder Brow training, and I highly recommend! I searched for months for a training that included blade AND machine work and found nearly nothing until I came across her salon. Other trainings will not give you the same in depth information and training, along with the opportunity to work on live models. The experience you get with her will get you started on your way to becoming a successful artists much faster than other trainings that are double the cost, and give you half the knowledge.

I received education from Jessica at The Beauty Bar. I took the microblading, microshading, lip blushing, and threading course. The class was very organized and Jessica made sure that each of us felt comfortable and confident with each portion of the curriculum. The kit was well organized and included enough items to get you a good head start in practicing on clients. I left feeling very confident to start practicing on clients right away. Ok he location is convenient, clean, and very pretty! I would highly recommend for any and all services as well as great education!

My original review still stands but I wanted to publicly share that the owner as she did everything she stated in her response to my review. My purchase was refunded and I received a personal call from her first thing. I think my service was a hiccup but this provider is first class.—-I’m so conflicted to write this review. My service provider I don’t see listed in any of the other reviews. She did a *great* job shaping my brows and has focus comparable to a surgeon! However, my eyebrow tint came out all wrong. They do not carry a red or auburn color and the “light brown” came out close to black. She certainly gave her best and but I am very unhappy with the end result. I was charged $30 for a shape and black tint.When she said they didn’t have my intended color but had something that would match I should’ve stopped the service. That’s on me. They had a new brand of tint and she wasn’t sure of the processing time but guessed it was the same as the other brand. That also may have been an issue.The shop is very pretty, well lit, and clean. I would return just to have my brows shaped but certainly not anything involving chemicals again.

Arrived for my service and was serviced in a prompt and professional manner! The location and space was very clean and comfortable. The service room was also very tidy. I found The Beauty Bar after moving to Clayton and desperately searching for somewhere to get my eyebrows waxed. I’m very particular in regards to how I like mine done, and have had my fair share of bad experiences at waxing studios. Luckily, Cassandra has come through and saved me from my worries! I’ve been getting my lashes done by Cassandra who is the absolute best! It takes a while for me to relax sometimes since I can’t lay still for long but she is always so patient with me. I love how she does my lashes because it gives me the look I’m going for and stays full for 2-3 weeks (just in time for a fill). Jessica is also so sweet and welcoming when I see her in the shop! I just completed training with Jessica for lash extensions last weekend. I absolutely loved Jessica and the course! It is a challenging skill but she is a great instructor and was always there beside you to assist or just give you encouragement. I am so impressed! I got a full set 2 wks. ago and have an appointment today for a fill. I used to get my lashes done in the Charlotte area when we lived there at a couple of different places and none of them hold a candle to The Beauty Bar. My lashes are still pretty full. The other places in Charlotte at this point I was in desperate need to get a fill after 2 wks. and many lashes would have fell out. Not only do they look AMAZING they LAST! I highly recommend.

I called last week to book an appointment and everything was fine. I had something come up and I had to call and cancel a day before my appointment . Jessica answered the phone ..I told her my situation and she said she would cancel my appt. When I ended the phone call with her I received a text message saying that the appointment that I wanted to cancel had just been confirmed. I immediately called back because I was confused as to why it confirmed instead of cancelled. I wanted to make sure it wasn’t confirmed and I would be on her schedule to come and I was considered a “NO CALL/NO SHOW” I know some establishments will not allow you to book future appointments because of this.She was rude and said “I haven’t had a chance to cancel it” very non chalant and straight forward.I know that seems a little minor but I work in customer service and have been the head of my department for 10 years. There are certain ways and tones to use with customers..there are certain things you can add in while talking to make them feel like they are top priority and that the mistake or whatever the issue is will be corrected and not to worry. She didn’t apologize for the mistake..she was just blunt and straight to the point..”I haven’t had a chance to cancel it”I value customer service and love to support businesses who put their customers first ..Jessica did not sit well with me and she’s the reason why I will NOT be rescheduling my appointment or referring anyone to her establishment.

I went to Jessica a few times for volume lashes. There was always space between my lashes and she would say my natural lashes had to grow back in buy next time they’d be enough. I made an appointment to get them done a few days before Christmas and specifically asked for the “4 week volume fill”. After she performed the service, she asked me did I get the 3 week or 4 week fill. Shouldn’t you know what service you just did🤔? That was a red flag but I still let it go. By New Years, chunks of lashes were missing. I had strands here and there so I called her to share my concerns (still willing to give her another chance). She didn’t answer, I left her a detailed message and NEVER received a response. Very unprofessional. My lashes came out much better from Amazing Lash and have lasted!

Jess is the best Master Stylist I have encountered thus far. As an avid individual eyelash user for over 8 years I know quality work. Allot of misconceptions come in this industry. It is important to understand that damage lashes take months to recover back to normalcy. Individual eyelashes you cannot even feel on your eyes. I have tried ICandy she is good but I have the best now. Jess understands my eye shape and matches my volume set accordingly. My husbands loves the looks she gives me as it widens my eyes and gives me a exotic type flair. It is what I told her I like. Other master stylist will not stray from what they believe your eyelashes should look like according to their view. My lashes last 3 weeks as you do not need fills sooner, they stay longer. I brush them without any snags, I cannot feel them in my eyes. That is when you know your wearing quality lashes, it should be that natural. I believe she should.charge more as I was paying more for a lesser quality outcome. Individual eyelashes are for those whom can afford them, a luxury. If you go to a chain an get great discounts good for you. Quantity verses quality is the difference here and it is up to you to choose which you prefer. In this industry you will never be able to please everyone. We do need to sonciser why we seek this service. We are not currently happy with what we have naturally so we seek this service out wanting more. We step in being already I unpleased with ourselves. Be real with your expectations and especially in reading some of these reviews. Your not buying a burger from a fast food joint. Your purchasing a luxury service for the quality. If your pleased with a chain well no one could have pleased you to begin with, go buy that burger!She is by farther best master stylist I have ever encountered and I will pay even more for her services. Jessica is amazing! She is so kind, and takes pride in her work and it shows!

I took the Microblading class offered by Jessica Vines at The Beauty Bar LLC and I am SO glad I did!! I had originally planned to go to one of those national traveling classes (which by the way were anywhere from $4000-6000 and the “best” one offered a 1:4 student/teacher ratio) and was going online to pay my deposit and thought I’d look one more time for a local class and came across Jessica’s class at The Beauty Bar LLC. It was, to me, divine intervention...she provided a professional Microblading kit to get started, but not only that, explained to me WHY she chose this particular pigment or blade design and the best websites to order from. I felt like I got, not only got fantastic one on one training, but also secret tips & tricks from the pros to make my life and job easier as I went out into the world. This information is invaluable to me, I learn by hands on training and practicing the skill itself, but knowing the “why” behind the way something is done helps me to retain the things I’ve learned AND to transfer that info to my clients when it comes time for me to answer their questions.The technical portion of the class was amazing! Jessica is so patient and kind, she works with you over and over (and for me over again) until it clicks. She never rushed me, even when I rushed myself, she encouraged me to keep working at it, there’s no timeclock, just slow down and keep practicing. There is not one aspect from start to finish that she didn’t cover in class. From the time the client walks in, until they walk out was taught and then put into practice with my live model on day 2. Jessica is dedicated to building high quality Microblade Artists, not just teaching a class and handing out a certificate. I asked if we could do my model’s 5 week touch up together just so I could have the complete process cycled through with her and she agreed and scheduled them along with me before they left that day.She knew I had a few anxious people who were waiting to get the service done as soon as I was certified and I knew I wasn’t quite ready to work on a paying client so we decided to bring a 2nd live model in a few days later, around her and my schedules, so I could feel 100% ready to work on my own!Jessica repeatedly told me if I need anything, don’t hesitate to ask, if I ever have any questions, don’t hesitate to call, if I didn’t feel completely sure about something, she’d help me through it and the thing is, a lot of these classes say that on their website, but I literally took her up on each offer during my training weekend and each time she happily accommodated my requests because she truly is invested in her Student’s success. She genuinely cares! I am so thrilled to have seen her class online and to have gotten my training done with her, and I can’t wait to sign up for future classes that go into more advanced arts!
